  1. Those that need to know, know all they need to know is I will make one of these franchises good, fast.
  2. I’d like to put my name forth to take over an expansion team. Many of you by now know I am an alias. I’ve had the experience here in creating franchises, succeeding franchises and more. I’ve been a successful GM in the VHL and VHLM and have been an active product of AGM for the current Yukon Rush. I am very familiar with the VHLM, I am familiar with being a GM and can promise commitment and activity to all my new players I think I’d bring a breath of fresh air to these new franchises and I am happy to tackle any and all challenges the expansion has to offer. Thank you for your consideration.
  3. Defense Denver Wolfe Assists = 98/10 = 9.8 Points = 116/7 = 16.5 Capped @ 20 fosho.
  4. yessir, challenge accepted!
  5. Denver Wolfe has played 69 (hehe) games so far this season and has been absolutely killer for the team. Throughout the season we've brought you many updates, and this one is fairly similar, the only difference? We're looking for a very big milestone to be achieved, and it's going to be very much an uphill battle on this one. The season has 72 games total which means that in three games, this milestone needs to somehow be hit. Now I know you're all wondering...WHAT MILESTONE? Well, that specific Milestone is hitting 100 assists. Currently, Wolfe is leading the league with 93 assists, meaning that in three games, he needs to achieve 7 assists to hit this feat. Now, in theory, this is roughly 2 per game with a third squeaking in somewhere, and is somewhat doable but it's not going to be easy. They have a fairly easy schedule to end the season so as long as they can make due with their opponents and Wolfe can be on the ice and dishing apples, we'll see him hit that total. Everyone is praying for him, as it's his final season in the M, and its now or never to hit this milestone.
  6. 1. We're going to secure it no problem, I see no reason we would not, we clinched conference so fuck all the others right? 2. Obviously I'm content, I feel bad for some of the others not getting the playing time I am, but I know we are trying to spread it out as best we can. I think the partial reason I am having the success I am is because of my playing time. 3. The hope obviously is to have the Storm players just tear up this league, I think Slade can do it as HHH has not been on the pace he once was during the start of the season. 4. Sadly this will be my final season in the M but I will cherish playing with this crop of guys, an amazing crew. I'll be going to Vancouver next season. 5. A lot of guys will be gone, I think it'll be Minny's turn to re-tool a bit, so they may be near the middle, could drop to the bottom, I do trust Eud to do a good job, he's a good GM so I have no doubt he will make the best of his situation. 6. Just give us Hali now, fuck waiting. We want to knock them out quik because we're superior and dispose of everyone. 7. Past was a good pick-up, its unfortunate hes not on the team long-term, but we'll see what happens. 8. I'm going to Vancouver which despite their hot start, have failed miserably, so I'm hoping I can help turn them around. 9. I'd like to see a middle of the pack team like Yukon make it, no bias or anything...lol 10. LR and the people in it are awesome, active, fun bunch so it's real easy going in there.
  7. @BluObieZ
  8. Most of my VHLcom articles are about myself, but because Theme Week is here, and the topic of discussion has to pertain to the S66 draft, I figured what better way to make all this TPE, then speak on my very own teammate and future stud, Shane Mars. It's hard to make a negative argument for this bright left winger, he's putting up some of the best numbers throughout the league, he's likely going right to the VHL but regardless, he is currently making Minnesota fans really happy. In just fifty-six games, he's achieved 85 points which is almost 2ppg and that in itself is just insane. He sits as the current leader and front-runner to take the top Left Wing spot going into the playoffs in just a little bit, and also sits as a top ten (currently #6) player in the league. If that isn't impressive enough, he also sits 4th ranked for goals (42 total), 4th for PPG (1.35) and a +54. Minnesota is currently the top team in the league just barely having surpassed Halifax after the recent batch of games, and at this pace, we could easily see Mars hit 100 points, and achieve so much more before his minor league career comes to an end. It's been an absolute pleasure having this guy on the squad, and I can only hope we'll rekindle somehow, in the VHL.
  9. Being from Ireland, Denver Wolfe has never had the international platform to ever compete for his country. He's always been left out of every type of major international event for that very reason, there just is not a lot of Irish-born native players to actually make up an Irish team, but when he got the call from his agent that he'd been asked to be a part of Team Europe, his whole perspective on the way the game is changing made him feel very good in the present moment and for the future. He had this to say; It's an honor and a privilage to be selected for competitive international hockey. It's been a dream of mine since I was a wee lad and I love just being out there with all the other top talents trying to do our country proud. It feels good as well to be one of the first Irish-born players to be selected for such an achievement, and I feel like moving forward this will help other people who have yet to get the experience, finally get their shot. Hopefully this will also bring some other international players over to the league, because of how accepting and multi-cultural the VHL and VHLM truly are. Such a special moment for myself and my family. No further comments came from Goonie, his agent, or Wolfe himself. We could tell he was truly blessed and happy with the decision, and we will see soon enough how his performance is.
  10. Are you excited for the WJC - YES I am, I am involved in the WJC and really want to make my country proud! Who are you rooting for and why? - Team UK of course, born and raised, time to show them I can step up! Who do you think will win? - Silly question, Team UK again, I never vote against my teams. Who do you think Claims MVP? - Hard to say, a lot of great junior talent this year, going to say HHH, he's been a beast in the regular season. Who Makes the All-star team? - Again hard to say, a lot of great athletes in the games, going to say HHH, Lynch, Wolfe for sure, us three are really being GOAT's, rest based on performance. Do you sing your country's national anthem or just mouth the words? - Singing proudly all the way, the Irish jig is the best one around, lassy. What team would you like to GM in the WJC? - I swear it's all bias but Team UK for sure, would be an honor to GM my own team, and represent. one player to snag from another team to add to your current team who is of the same nationality! - I'd have to say Fish, we'd make a good tandem Would you ever burn a flag if you knew you wouldn't get caught? - Never, its disrespectful to my country and would bring me a lot of shame. You just got a penalty for unsportman like conduct, what did you do? - Probably didn't like the way someone was mouthing off to me or playing, so I took care of it, how? That's for me to know, you to find out Jersey colour swap for WJC special jerseys, what colours would you give each team? - Honestly I don't know if they are just using their own country colors, but I think that's what makes us "who we are", so idk if I'd swap colors, however it'd be hilarious to just randomly give other teams colors to one another just for fun, like a one-game scenario. What is your fav task to gain tpe and why? - I love graphics, always have, I find them easy and also fun to do, so that would be my favorite way.
  11. awesome! welcome to the team. I'll have our GM @Josh. get you signed via the portal, I'll also send you a PM shortly if you have any questions in the meantime, don't hesitate to ask here or on the discord, same username (Goonie) as on here.
  12. Hello @Dadislav_Kamenev and welcome to the league. My name is Zack, I go by Goonie on the boards and I am the Assistant GM of the Yukon Rush. First and foremost, welcome to the league, I hope you enjoy your stay. We here in Yukon feel we have a good shot at making surprising battles and being competitive as the league progresses towards playoff time. I've had a lot of experience in the league, I'm also actually currently in the VHLM and tearing it up, so I know how to build. I'd be happy to help you learn the insides and outsides of this league, back to front if you come to Yukon, and I promise you I'll make sure we'll find a way, to make you a star. Come join the Rush, feel the Rush...be the Rush cheers. If you accept, just quote this offer.
  13. thanks! appreciate the compliment.
  14. Denver Wolfe was known from the get-go as a champion. Just last season despite joining the league late, he ended up finishing top of the league with Las Vegas in-terms of team success and went so far as to win the cup in his first year in the M and with the Aces. This in itself was an accomplishment, however it wasn't good enough for Wolfe. As he has already publicly come out and said, he was not happy with his individual performance but understood being behind others in practice hours, it was bound to happen. This season, he turned it all around. Wolfe is a competitor, he's on the second place Minnesota Storm (formerly known as Oslo Storm) and while they sit in second place, he's finally happy with his production. In 34 games played, Wolfe has already notched 45 assists and a point total of 57. This means he's scored 12 goals in the process of his huge DOTY campaign. If this wasn't impressive enough, he's 9 points ahead of any other defender in the league for total points and is third place behind two forward rookies for the ROTY race, something very impressive seeing as the other two are likely "expected" to score more than he is, but he's keeping up quite nicely. When Wolfe vowed to become a "top player", he wasn't lying and is now dominating the M and looking for a two-peat, only one team at the moment (Halifax) seems to be standing in the way of that, but Wolfe has told every member of that team that he will stop at nothing, to make his dreams come true.
  15. 1. We are at about the third season mark. What teams are most likely going to face off in the next Founder's Cup final? My boys Minnesota and likely Halifax unless someone makes a huge push to end the season. 2. What is one trade you'd like your trade to do at this moment? Honestly I think our team is in really good shape, our GM has built a good active team with chemistry, I wouldn't want to ruin that good thing. 3. The 3rd World Junior Championship Commissioner was just hired (congrats Frostbeard), meaning the S65 WJC is about to start. Do you think you have what it takes to represent your nation? At first I was unsure if I would make it, however I did recently learn I was named onto Team UK and so I am hoping I do have what it takes to make a huge splash. 4. Who are your early favourites to win some awards in the VHLM? MVP, best two-way forward, best defenseman, best goalie? I mean...am I gloating to say me? I have been lightyears away from my competition, I also feel HHH is a huge threat on the forward side. As for goalie I feel like there is a couple, no shoe-in just a couple solid candidates, if I had to pick it'd likely be Hali goalie just simply because of how lights-out he's been. 5. What's one song that you listen to before stepping on the ice, that will inevitably pump you up and get you ready for action? Loving "Coming Home" by Alter Bridge before any home-games, it pumps me up so much and really get's my blood pumping. 6. Describe your VHLM team's General Manager and/or Assistant to the General Manager in 3 words. Actively A God?
  16. I'll vouch for @RunnerBert11 very active guy, always willing to help in Minnesota, vocal and an awesome teammate. I think he'd be a great candidate for your AGM position @Peace
  17. @Splatman005 welcome to the Rush! @Josh. will send you an offer on the portal. I’ll also send you a PM in a little bit when I get home.
  18. Denver Wolfe achieved the one thing every other team did not, and many players wished they had, winning the Cup. While he was happy, he knew personally he hadn't attained to be much of a superstar. He joined the season somewhat late, he knew his was behind and his aspirations to be the best were slim to none. However this season he's hit his maximum training hours to remain in the VHLM and is seeing a whole new side to being "elite" in-terms of his performance. In just 11 games he's managed to notch 22 points, which in breakdown is 3 goals, 19 assists. Within these points, he current has a 4 assist lead for top assist earner, a 4 point lead for top defensemen in the league and has also found himself 9th (1.41 PPG) on the points per 20 mins list as well as 7th (+12) in the plus/minus department. After looking into all of this, Denver has also impressed as being the third best rookie in the league at the moment just 1 point back from being tied with the first and second place rookies. This race is tight, but don't expect Wolfe to let up as the season progresses.
  19. 1. After one long offseason, season 65 has finally started. What do you think of your team's performance in these first couple of sims? -> Very happy with the team performance, Minny knew going into the season after their incredible off-season that we'd be a top tier contender and it's been showing on and off the ice. We have a great group of guys in the locker room and that has been our key factor to making this team a success. 2. How is the ambiance in your locker room after these sims? -> As mentioned above our locker room is super active and confident, we have a very active GM who is doing everything they can to personally get us to the top, while also keeping us cool, calm and collected. It's a great place to be. 3. Which team do you like playing against more than others? -> As the AGM of the Rush, I do enjoy playing my "GM" team however I think its fun seeing all of the teams collide so really do not have an actual "favorite" to play against, I guess whoever is giving us the wins? lol. 4. Season has just started, so the VHL Entry Draft might be hard to predict right now, but in what round do you think you'll be taken? -> I am actually a draftee already, been selected in both the VHLM and VHL draft. 5. Besides hockey, obviously, what other sports do you like to play casually or watch? -> Football is a huge one to watch, also watch Soccer, just a big fan of all sports, if anything is on and I have free time to watch, you'll likely catch me doing just that. 6. What's your game day routine? What do you eat before games? -> I try to keep myself somewhat empty on the big meals as I don't need any in-game issues or anything like that, so a light meal beforehand, pack on the meals after the game when I don't have anything to do for the night. Game-day routine is to get to the arena early, lots of stretching and just mentally preparing for the game ahead.
