Ranking VHL And VHLM Team Logos and Team Names I have been wondering what team logo and team name is the best. I have come up with a list of the best VHLM/VHL logos and team names. This is only my opinion, once again if you have any problems with the article please inform me. And tell me what is your favorite VHL/VHLM logo and team name #1 Ottawa Lynx The reason why I chose the Ottawa Lynx they have a really good logo. It looks very professional. They also have a good team name #2 Calgary Wranglers The Calgary Wranglers have a very unique and creative logo which I like. There Team name is also very creative and I like the name too. #3 Seattle Bears The Seattle Bears have a detailed logo the bear is the best part of the logo with lots of detail and that's why I like the Seattle Bears logo. Their team name is not good but not bad either. It’s kind of in the middle but the logo is very detailed and that is why I put it at number 3 #4 Saskatoon Wild Now you might say I said Saskatoon because that's the team I play for. But that's not it. I put Saskatoon in number 4 because I like how detailed there logo is. Their team name is decent. It's in the middle like the Seattle Bears. #5 Riga Reign The Riga Reign has a good and very detailed logo and I like it. Their team name doesn’t fit right with Riga. If I had to choose a team name for the Riga Reign it would be the Riga Hawks. #6 Las Vegas Aces The Las Vegas Aces have a decent Logo. One thing I like about the logo is that it looks like a poker chip. Their team name is creative and I like it. #7 HC Davos Dynamo Their logo is decent. There is nothing special. But they have a good team name. It is very creative. #8 Oslo Storm They have a good logo. It is very creative.Their team name just doesn’t sound right. If I had to pick a team name for the Oslo Storm would choose it to be the Oslo Lions. #9 Helsinki Titans I don’t know why but their logo just doesn't look right. Their team name is decent, I have no problems with it #10 Vancouver Wolves Their logo is good but I don't like there team name I would like it to be the Vancouver Lightning. #11 Toronto Legion Their logo is not detailed enough for me and put it at number 11. Their team name is decent, I have no problems with it #12 Halifax 21st Their logo is fine. It has some details too. The problem is the team name 21st is not a good team name at least for me. If I had to choose a name for them I would choose the Halifax Tigers #13 Yukon Rush I really don’t like their logo it’s just a big “R”.Their team name is fine it’s just the logo. What Round Are You Going To Get Picked Lots of people have been wondering here are you going to place in this years draft I have came up with the list.If I did do anything wrong please inform me about the issue.First I would like to say what team do you what to get drafted by? Leave it down in the comments For me I don’t really care as long as I am playing.Now I will introduce myself My player is Nethila Dissanayake I play for the Saskatoon Wild I have 66 TPE and I am trying to get TPE by writing this article so… yeah enough of that let’s go and talk about what you were here for what round are you going to get picked in the draft?P.S this is only my opinion thanks to Sonnet for giving me some info on the draft TPE 30-39 If you are 30 to 39 you are most likely to go in the 7 round. If you want to get more TPE the easy way I suggest you do the practise facility all you need to is say 2+ and you get 2 TPE.You can also get TPE with trivia all you need to do is get the questions right. If you are stuck then go to the VHLM newsletter it will give you a hint on the questions.And the press conference all you need to do is just a question but there is no right or wrong and you can’t do more than 1 press conference. There are always 1 new Practise facility,trivia and press conference every week. TPE 40-50 You guys would probably come in the 6th or 5th round. There it not much to tell about you and others but I will still say what round you will most likely be drafted in TPE 50-70 This is where my player is at with TPE.I think we will come 5th or 4th but most likely 5th but you might be drafted 4th round if lucky I think a lot of people are in this range of TPE but I am not sure TPE 71-90 You will come in the 3 round maybe 2 if lucky. TPE 91-120 You will come in the second round maybe round 1 if you performed well this season. TPE 121-199 You will come in the first round you guys have probably stay here for 2 seasons and when you move up don’t forget us down here! Nethila Dissanayake’s Biography Name: Nethila Dissanayake Position: RW Born: Colombo, Sri Lanka Age: 24 Years Old Hight/Weight:6’8 And 197lbs Shoots: Right Early Years Nethila Dissanayake was born in Sri Lanka which is a small developing country in Asia. Nethila was a small boy and he was always the smallest in groups. He came form a poor family with only a little bit of money. He had 3 siblings 2 boys 1 girl .He was the youngest in his family. His dad was a cricket fan and he wanted Nethila to play cricket. But he did not like cricket. he thought that it was boring. Instead he played soccer but he wasn’t a huge fan of soccer though. His 2 brothers played Cricket and his sister played Volleyball. At school he wasn’t the best he was a straight B and C student and he rarely got a A. his parents were pretty mad when Nethila got a C but he was still very young. So his parents weren’t mad at him that much. When he was 6 he moved to Canada to have a better education and to have a better life. Middle School When Nethila was 12 he was in middle school. One night he was watching TV and trying to find something to watch when he saw a VHL hockey game. He watched the whole game and he wanted to play it himself .He told his dad that he wanted to play hockey he said “you first need to know how to skate”. So Nethila took skating lessons and he got better and better.So then he joined the hockey team in his middle school.He was pretty bad at hockey and people laughed at him for that. He ignored them and he was getting better and better. But his grades weren’t so good. He was getting C’s and D’s. His parents weren’t so pleased the only subject that he got A’s in was Geography, which was his favorite subject. When his first game started, it didn’t go as planned. He had 10 penalty minuets 0 assists and 0 goals. People made fun of him. But he didn’t care. Everyday he would go to the rink and practice for 3 hours and come back home which means that in a week he practiced for 21 hours which is almost a full day. At the end of the season he scored 14 goals and 23 assists. The next season he had 21 goals and 34 assists. His dad very proud of him. High School Nethila barely graduated Middle school. His mom and dad were very mad at him because of his poor grades. So his mom and dad made him stop playing hockey. Nethila was pretty sad but his dad said ”If you do better with your grades you can join the team again”. So he started doing his best on studies. It was hard but it payed off. Now he is a straight A and B student. The next season his dad allowed him to play hockey again. He was playing with the team again and when he was at hockey practice he noticed that there was a new person on the team. He greeted him and they started to become best friend. He found out that he and his family immigrated to Canada form Sweden and his name is Mike. He was the goalie for the team. Soon Nethila was one of the best right wingers in the league. All of his couches loved him. The people who were making fun of him were now respecting him. Nethila and Mike were going to the gym every other day together. Every season he and Mike were getting better and better at hockey. Nethila and Mike won 2 cups for wining the playoffs and then… University Nethila graduated high school and he got a scholarship to play for the Alabama State Hornets. And guess who got a scholarship for the same university, Mike! Nethila was so happy that his best friend was also in the same university as him. Soon after Nethila and Mike were the best players on the team. Nethila was one of the best goal scorers in the whole league. He knew that lots of scouts were watching him and lots of teams would want him to play with them. Nethila was always practising to get better. He got 35 goals and 54 assists in his first season. Everyone was very impressed of his skill and he was a good teammate too. He gives complements to his teammates and tells them what they can do better in a nice way.“Nethila was born to play hockey” said one of his coaches “Anything he has done, he is good at” said another coach Nethila and Mike went on to win 3 cups with the Alabama State Hornets. He also did well in his school work. His mother and father were very proud of him. After That Nethila and Mike graduated university and Nethila started to play In the CHL. He played for the Prince Albert Raiders and he was the best player on the Prince Albert Raiders .The league obviously and he was in the Sherwin Williams CHL/NHL top prospects game and Nethila was the CHL Player of The Year, the CHL Top goal Scorer and the CHL Scholastic player of the year. Mike won the CHL Top Goaltender of the year and the CHL Rookie of The Year. When he was practicing, he got hurt. Mike got called up to the VHLM when Nethila was in the hospital hoping that he will still be able to play hockey. Mike was very sorry for Nethila. but 6 months later he made a recovery and the best news was that he can still play hockey. 10 games later he got called up to the VHLM with Mike. He was very happy for him. Nethila signed with the Saskatoon Wild while. Mike signed with the Ottawa Lynx. They will play for the VHLM/VHL for a long time.
