    Awkward conversations, general stress, and (hot take) bad food...shoutout to anyone in my boat who doesn't enjoy Thanksgiving. Whether or not you do, I hope you make the most of it! Happy Thanksgiving to our Americans :usa:

      bad food? turkey isn't great but the rest of Thanksgiving food tends to be good. Maybe your family can't cook?

      I think "turkey isn't great" (and I agree, it's super dry and unflavorful unless drenched in gravy) automatically proves my point. If the most important part of your meal isn't up to standards, get a new meal.

       

      I'm also not a huge fan of sweet potatoes and cranberries, and I hate pumpkin pie. Some other stuff is decent but I don't care for over half of the traditional Thanksgiving meal.

       

      Thankfully this year's went decently well and without the family melting down over something or other political.

      turkey isn't dry assuming it is cooked correctly but it takes multiple days to do that
