Jardy lets in 14 goals and I trade SEA G1 to the Meute god we are in for a long season.

I've tried to assemble a team of the VHL's oldest members.  If Kendrick would have joined in FA we could have started our own retirement community.

So back in the day Riga might have had 2 awesome regular seasons only to fall in the playoffs.  Even though Sterling had the league's best player (also best goalie obviously) I traded him to NY and then brought in a 400 TPE barely active goalie.  We randomly won the cup but I may have not told Sterling he was being traded because it came about very suddenly.  I'm usually very open with the team about everything but wasn't and feel bad that I did it even though we ultimately ended up winning.

Since we have 8 forwards some players will have reduced ice time just for this season.  Our starting lines look like this:
1) Klose - Cote - Rhinehart
2) Skovgaard - Rose - Muller
3) Klose - Cote - Rhinehart
4) Hines - Deschamps - Muller

3 D-men will rotate evenly throughout PP/PK and the lines.
Jardy will be goalie unless he sucks then we put in SEA G as needed.
 
After the first sim update Muller will pass Rhinehart in ability so around game 20 or so he will become our 1st/3rd line winger and pickup additional minutes.  If we struggle to win vs teams we should beat on paper the try to get everyone some ice time strategy will end and we'll be giving less and less minutes to our bottom two forwards.  This is subject to change as we find better line chemistry and see which players the sim favors this season.  The Rose/Deschamps thing I'll be watching closely as Zero has a better build but 0 in faceoffs.  Scotty has a unique (weird) thing going on but does have points in face offs.  Lets have fun this season and get some wins along the way also whenever possible we hate Toronto.

I think we had 12ish mil in free cap before I spent 7 mil on cote to be a #1 center.  If we have a decent season I'll drop a second to bring in another player at the deadline.  Otherwise if we fail miserably I'll trade Klose away to a better team for playoffs and we'll win a cup next season.

I just returned from the Winter Classic in Boston over the past few days. I'm now primed to be the best third line center in league history!

Jory Rose updated past 175 TPE and now has over 200 will be up in the VHL this season.

Beast of a GM I never cared about my regular season GM record though I took over an awful rebuild in Riga and the same in Seattle.  Also stepped down during Riga's prime.
 
The run NY had before Chris and that is continuing after is just insane.  FA friend signings or not the result is there hasn't been a better VHL GM during that run.  I never had any hard feelings toward you and the fake rivalry was only to promote fun.
