  2. My build was dominating in the off season tourney without scoring so I’m excited to see what it does
  3. Riga has 4th pick but they talking about toronto lol
  4. Actually Seattle are the ones that will get Dixon and Grimes lol Hopefully they pick him at second or else we will at 4th and ruin plans
  5. Daniel Weaver started his rookie season with the New York Americans, where the light shines the most in Hockey. He was around multiple veteran players from different teams in the previous VHL season, so he had the chance to learn a lot during the season. Despite never playing in the VHLE, he was one of the best rookies and one of the only two players who had never played pro yet. He finished with 42 points in 72 games on the second line and 36 blocked shots without even playing in the penalty kill. Weaver was a player that focused purely on scoring but once entering the VHL. He completely changed his playstyle that's unique in this new era of hybrid players. He was solely focused on improving his stick handling, puck handling, speed, and defensive coverage in his rookie season and that helped him being the second-best winger on the team. Then the trade happened... Daniel Weaver was traded to Riga. A rebuilding team and he's already predicted to become the best forward on the team. Some speculations say that he already might become the captain of the team even tho it's only his sophomore season in the VHL. Daniel Weaver is still humble and doesn't expect the team to be competitive this season, but it will not stop him and his teammates from just having fun and improving on our weaknesses as a team. Daniel Weaver wants his team to become a unit. He wants everyone to be aware of their roles and try to perform their roles the best they can do for the team. He believes a united team can win the Continental Cup, but we still have a long way to go before competing against the other good teams in the VHL. Even if it's only been one season in the VHL for Daniel Weaver, he already feels like he can take the next step as a leader and start working on his offensive talents, which he tossed aside in his rookie season for the better of the team. It's only a question of time for what's coming with Daniel Weaver, but with Riga having two lottery picks in the top 5. With the possibility of drafting a generational talent like The Frenchman on the team, he has the confidence that this new duo could become a problem in their upcoming seasons in the VHL...
  6. 1. The draft is set at the next Monday. Do you wish it could happen sooner? Yes, it being the last draft to happen is a bit lame. Also VHLE teams would not know if the VHL team will send doown there players or no in advance. 2. how happy are you for DC winning their first cup ever? It's amazing, been a while. Unreal expansion teams are winning before NY. 3. your reaction on the three way trade which brought us Daniel Weaver Good long term trade for Riga for sure. 4. who do you think we should choose at first and fifth overall this draft? Obvisouly The Frenchmen and Sadie St-Louis would be an awesome pick for us. 5. how long do you think I'll have a flu? a week easily with the flu these days a 6. how's our fav sports team is doing so far? cause mines doing....ehhh...don't wanna to talk about it Montreal is doing pretty good for a team that was predicted to be last in there division
  7. Best TPE forward on the team and will still somehow get 35 points

  10. 1. Vancouver Wolves - Henry Eagles - C+ The 1st overall pick of the season 85 draft had a disappointing rookie season since a couple of people had him as rookie of the year, but he wasn't even close to the top 10. He was expected to produce somehow more points since he already did play pro in the VHLE, even tho he only had 25 points in 72 games in the VHLE. The people did not expect him to only get 31 points in 72 games for the Vancouver Wolves playing alongside Nico Pearce, who's one of the best players in the league. Some might say he carried too much of a burden during the playoff because of playing in a rookie line. But to be least harsh against him, Henry Eagles himself did not expect to put up points and only wanted to do whatever the team needed him to do to win the VHL championship, but they didn't even pass the first round which was a shocker for multiple teams around the league. The only positive from this season is that he's a decent defensive forward already, or maybe not. He's a +10, but some might say he should easily be a minus if Nico Pearce was not scoring on that line all the time. It should actually be much higher if we think about it. Anyways, he's at the bottom and he can only go up from here. His sophomore season is a must-see for the league. 2. Prague Phantoms - John Jameson - A- This player is making a lot of noise. After spending a lot of time training to catch up to the top talented players in this draft, he finally caught up and might be the most exciting player to watch in the upcoming VHL season. He had an outstanding 103 points with 51 goals in his first season in the VHLE. He was one of the best players in the VHLE despite being a rookie. His stick handling might be a concern, but when you can shoot the puck as he does. Who cares? I already have him as my rookie of the year next season, but will the hype play with his head? Only time will tell... 3. Calgary Wranglers - Phil Strasmore - B A neutral opinion of him. His offensive capabilities can't be displayed with the stacked team around him. but he's already showing a flash of greatness on the defensive ends. With 165 hits and 116 blocked shots in his rookie season. He's already establishing himself as a great defensive d-men in the league. I don't really see him as a hall-of-fame defender, but he will definitely have a promising career with the Calgary Wranglers 4. New York Americans - Daniel Weaver - B- A lot of rumours around this player and he might be on the move this off-season already after his rookie season with the New York Americans. After a disappointing season for the Americans, the future is looking quite dim within this team. Daniel Weaver was a top 10 rookie in scoring, and some might argue he could of been in the top 5 if he played on the first line despite never playing in a single pro league before this season. Daniel Weaver has 0 focus on scoring at the moment but still ended up getting 42 points without playing with a solid scorer on his line. The one impressive thing about Weaver tho is his shots blocked. He has 36 shots blocked as a rookie and that puts him top 10 in the entire league for forwards already....and that's without penalty killing time! He might have gotten 50. A change of scenery is coming for Weaver tho.... 5. London United - Astro Singh - C- I'm hoping this guy could become the elite player and the rest of us become busts, but this has not been the case so far, unfortunately. He had a de cent season in the VHLE I guess, but it looks like he will be spending one more season there and hopefully, he can dominate and prove the haters wrong. He only had 43 points in 772 games with a + 21, but a good thing with his game is that he's laying the body. Everyone needs a solid scoring power forward on there team and he might have a future in the VHL if he keeps it up like this. 6. Menace Moscow - Matt Murdock - S godly tier One might say I'm a fanboy and yes I am one. I thought he couldn't outdone himself, but he did it in a godly way. After going 927% save percentage in his rookie season with 2.18 GAA in his rookie season in the VHLE. He went 941% save percentage with a 2.18 GAA in his sophomore season! Oh oh.... Not only that, but when it comes to the playoff, he had a .954% save percentage with a 2.01 save percentage in 6 games!!! A team can never point finger at a goalie posting those kind of stats. It's really amazing that he didn't win a a single award yet. I might need to reconsider my pick for rookie of the year... Moscow had Papa Emeritus and now they have this dude. It's honestly not fair! The next-best HOF goalie is coming in 2 seasons... 7. Tater Tottingham - Helskiki Titans - C+ He's a decent prospect, but h might not an impactful career in the VHL. He would be an amazing player to have in any VHLE team tho. In his rookie season in the VHLE, he had 71 points in 72 games on a bad team. And he also had 106 hots and 158 blocks shots, he's a jack of all trade sort of defender, but those kinds of players don't really translate well in the VHL. Hopefully a team will one day give him the reign of playing like himself in the highest stage possible. There it is, the season 85 draft is looking quite promising at the moment. Not a lot of HOF potential, but definitely a couple of them will be star players for there team. Who will win a cup first tho!? 1024 words
  11. 1). Moscow made it to the cup finals - are you surprised how they handled Warsaw? Yes, I was expecting a Warsaw vs DCD matchup to be quite honest. 2). Who is your favorite Sesame Street character? The red dude for sure, elmo I think. 3). Have you owned skates before? What brand? Never, dangerous as fuck. 4). What song are you not afraid to sing in the car at 11/10 effort? Some chris brown songs always hitting. 5). Do you remember your first shotgun of a beer? How was it? Never drank beer so no idea. 6). Do you own a record player? Would you use it if someone gave you one? I never owned one, but I would use it if someone gave me one
  12. 1). Who would win the Elmebeck award for New York? Our goalie easily 2). What statistic surprised you about your player this season? Shots blocked, he was one of the best shot blocking forward in the league without playing in the penalty kill. 3). What is your go-to show when you are heading to bed? Regualr shows is a good ass one 4). When do you think the first snow will be where you live (mine is tonight) this year? In November or start of december 5). How many GM jobs in the VHL do you think will be available this off-season? Would you sign up for one? Maybe 2 and I won't 6). Do you enjoy your state/province's license plate? If not, what would you change about it? Never really thought about it. Florida or Miami looks dope tho
  13. dang 5 points from first. moscow vs warsaw really fucked my predictions
  14. @Pifferfishnot really. You can simply check both teams that made the finals. Out of the 12 forwards, only 2 of them “invested” in passing, but they only put in 30 TPE in it so I’m not gonna consider them passers. One thing that I could possibly agree on is passing could be important for defenders, but again. Out of the 8 defenders in these finals, only one of them truly invested in passing with 80. And guess what, the most points he got is 45 points in 4 seasons. Yes most of those points were assist, but the top defenders in the league gets double those assist without having any passing + they’d still score goals. Only a handful of passing d-men gets a one good season every few seasons. So to your point of benefiting the team, no it really doesn’t lmao I could say the same thing for most seasons, but Im too lazy to look it up. As a dude who had two playmaking players, they absolutely sucked
  15. Look at Yun Chiang stats. He’s at 800+ TPE, but yet he couldn’t beat his rookie season 4 years into the VHL (Which is 35 points in his rookie season, pretty shit especially at 800 TPE) Daniel Weaver who has ZERO scoring put up 42 points in his rookie season. Other rookies would be PPG every single season at around 450 TPE. It’s pretty much random at the end of the day lmao, some users luck seems to be simply always better than others. *But Yun Chiang did score 7 more goals then Weaver so yes high scoring will get you more goals at the end of the day, but not necessarily more points (Where defence comes in, not passing) P.S: Passing sucks, idc if people try to make it seem good with logical reasons. It simply sucks
  16. The thing is we don’t even have our pick. Seattle has it Except if there was a condition on it
  17. W prédiction. Win it all pls!
  18. Vancouver players punching the air. Especially Nico Pearce, we told him the moment he signed!
