  2. Welcome back to week four of ELO and the VHLM. With about 12 more games in the books we get to see a few interesting things. 1. No one game made the difference this week, all the improvements and downfalls are a stretch. 2. We see Mississauga continue tanking alongside Mexico 3. Yukon and Ottawa increase their gap while Philadelphia falls below Minnesota for the first time in a while. 4. Las Vegas and Saskatoon make some good increases but it seems doubtful that either team will hold this pattern. 5. San Diego and Halifax are in a stat of mediocrity and holding, doubt we see anything from them. With the trade deadline fast approaching we would normally expect to see a fairly busy trade deadline but this season it seems as if most teams are in a "don't touch don't break". There will likely be a team or two willing to break the mold as they fight for playoff positioning.
  3. Respect to the old ones. Time for us up and comers to take the mantle
  4. Have to put something on here officially but I'm going to be sending you a pm. If you want to join Minnesota let us know!
  5. Hey Poptart, We in Minnesota would be glad to take you in if you want to join us. Your be third pair for now and odds are you'd be on second pair very quickly. Let me know and hmu if you have any questions.
  6. It does actually. One goal games tend to mean very little in movement when it comes to ELO. Though the downward movement is visible on the graph

  8. Welcome back to week three of ELO and the VHLM, a little more has changed this time but not a ton. Yukon took on Philadelphia in a big game for both teams, Yukon was given a .34 win percentage for the game and came out on top. Not only on top but handily beating Philly by 6 goals! This caused Yukon to take their second big jump of the season while Philly fell closer to Minnesota. Speaking of, Minnesota is stuck bouncing around that 1200 mark as they can't seem to get a big win but they are steadily improving and sneaking out 1 goal gmaes. Las Vegas (@Proto lol), has seemingly hit their peak of 1125 and have begun their decent into the life of being a .500 playing team. Saskatoon saw a decent jump as they sent Mississauga tumbling to the bottom with Mexico and Saskatoon beat them by 7. As the playoff race heats up this season seems a lot more balanced but can anyone topple Ottawa before that happens?
  9. I would assume it doesn't specify (based on what I'm reading in the wiki and from what I remember playing in game) though it could also be Gustav rules

  12. @Mr_Hatter You're going to have to try harder than that if you even want a shot at the Kanou ?
  13. Gotta love when 7/18 replies are applications and the rest are people putting others forward. Here's a quick reminder, your endorsement doesn't mean much. The commissioners have the knowledge of who does what in the league, keep and eye on discord and will check through forum history. Give it a rest and let the applicants battle it out and present themselves.
  14. With our second week in the books the VHLM hasn't changed a ton as a lot of team traded wins and a lot of 1 goal games means very little change with the ELO. There are a few things to look at though so let's get into it. Yukon had their big one game but they are are keeping things on the up and up and have climbed from around 1075 to 1132, they are this weeks biggest risers. With the bottom 5 teams, each team dropped between 25 and 50 ELO with Houston taking the smallest fall at 15 points. Ottawa went on a rise between game 16 and 20 jumping nearly 50 points. Las Vegas is the only competitor who took a small fall this week. Honestly not much else to say so I'm just going to wast some words here. Minnesota is doing well but I'd like to see us do better, winning games is still going to be key but one goal games aren't good and going to OT gives away free points.
