1) Which VHL player has surprised you the most so far this season? (Cannot pick your own player!) 2) If money was no object, which city would you want to live in and why? 3) You find a book and begin to read it, only to discover that it is a story of your life. You get to the point that you are at now, do you turn the page knowing that you will not be able to change the events to come?

Review: I enjoy media spots like this as I don't really follow the M that much and it's even more interesting through the eyes of a GM. The article was spot on detailing your draft picks and why you decided to choose that player. Was interesting to read about your deviation as well and that is always the interesting part when you get to be a GM, is those quick last minute decisions you have to make to make your team better. To make the article stand out more I would add picture or maybe some color but that's just a visual thing. The actual article was very well written! Best of luck this season as Mexico GM! Rating 9.5/10

Henry Eagles had a 3 game Seattle debut to remember. The former 1st round pick had fans on their feet for his first 3 games as a bear by picking up 8 points, 6 of those goals, in his Seattle debut. He also managed to score a hat-trick in his second game. After the first set of VHL games, Henry leads the league in points and goals. "It's early and I know I won't be able to keep up this pace and probably won't finish at the top in points and goals but it was a great start for sure" Henry said " The hat-trick was also great, haven't had a lot of those in my career" Rumours has it that the GM did not tell the team the lineup or even had any set lines, players were asked to form their own lines and they just went with it. Nobody on the Bears have confirmed or denied this but regardless of what the situation was, the lines seemed to click. "I don't know where those rumours were formed, I mean we had our lines set, I just don't know if those were the intended lines or not but regardless I found instant chemistry with Severus Targaryen and we just played like we have been playing together for years. If these lines were not the right lines I just hope we can stay on the same line together." Henry continued " It was definitely a great start here in Seattle and hopefully we can keep on winning" This has been Henry's best start to as season in his career so far and the Bears fans can't get enough. Eagles jerseys have been flying off the shelf when he was signed and after this performance to start the season the Bears will be raking in the money in merchandising sales. " When you have a start like that, the fans will want to buy all your merchandise and right now Henry merchandise is just printing money " the Bears commercial director said " His contract has been paid off in the first week of the season, we hope he can continue playing like this for the rest of the season as ill be able to retire early if that's the case!" Before the free agency period the Bears were outsiders looking in at the playoffs but with what they have shown very early this season, they might be looking more like contenders. " I know the media likes to hype everything up but it has only been 3 games, there is still a lot of hockey to be played" Henry says " Anything can happen between now and the end of the season so let's not get ahead of ourselves. We need to keep focusing one game at a time and if we get into the playoffs then we can cross that bridge when we get there" In the end, winning the Eagles sweepstakes seems to be paying instant dividends for the Bears and might elevate the Bears back into playoff contenders.

In just a few hours, Henry Eagles, will play his final season opener as he enters the final season of his VHL Career. He will be playing in a new city and dawning the colors of a new team as he begins the end of his career. Even in his last season, their are high expectations for the former 1st overall pick and age has not slowed him down. " I am still chasing that 100 point mark in my career and I guess I want something to showcase my efforts as well, maybe an individual trophy or so" Henry said " but of course the main goal is to get Seattle back in the playoffs and maybe upset a few teams in the playoffs. My role now is to help guide these youngsters in Seattle to help them achieve all their goals. It will be a fun final season and I can't wait to start" The Bears home opener has been sold out for weeks as excitement builds for Henry's Seattle debut. Will it be a special first game for the skilled forward or will it end with Eagles disappointing the Bears excited fans?

1 - Controversial but less regression, with such short careers per player, would reduce when regression kicks in. 2 - Not so much adding a job but I would include some sort of pay for Ast GM; even if its 1TPE. 3 - Probably Dark on Netflix, great series (3 seasons) and not too many people know about it. Q1: Were approaching the start of another season, which VHL, VHLM and VHLE do you think will surprise people the most? Q2: Have you set a seasonal goal for your player? If so what are your goals for the season? Q3: What would you do if you knew you'd go blind in three months? Is there something, in particular, you'd like to see?

After a whirlwind Free agency, Henry Eagles has landed in Seattle and met his new team at the Bears training camp. He skated with his new team-mates as they start to build chemistry in what will be an interesting season and hopefully a playoff push for this Bears team. "It was great to get back on the ice and meet everyone, I was playing on different lines and getting used to some of the talented players here" Henry said in his first Seattle interview " I don't know fully where I will be playing yet but I am open to play anywhere. I let the GM know I am here to offer any assistance that I can and that even means potentially playing in a position I have never played for before" Eagles will be looking to end his career with a PPG career or higher. He currently sits at 576 games played with 565 points so he will have to have a pretty good final season if he is to reach his goal. "I think I can make it happen here while also gunning for a playoff spot and maybe even causing some upsets along the way, it will be an exciting final season that's for sure!"

Will miss Malmo! Wishing you guys all the best, still a very solid team that will be dangerous this season!

12. What are your thoughts on Seattle trading for McFleury and St. Louis from Calgary? Great additions to the ever evolving Seattle team. I played with McFleury for 2 seasons in Vancouver so I know what he can bring to the table. 13. What are your thoughts on Seattle's drafting? I think the draft went well, picked up some solid players that will help Seattle out in the near future. 15. What are you up to this week? Will be starting my pre-season training and getting Henry up to speed before another long season. He needs to be ready to go from the start if he is to reach his goals for the season 16. What are your expectations for your player in the upcoming season? I am still chasing the 100 point goal since I was drafted first overall. Hoping I can achieve that here in my final season! 17. What are your expectations for Seattle this season? I am expecting a minimum of a wildcard playoff finish. The team is starting to look good and if we make playoffs...who knows, we have seen that anything can happen. 18. What do you think of Seattle landing BIG FA, Eagles @Greg_Di????? I am excited to be here for my final season and hoping we can cause some upsets this season!

It was a whirlwind day for Henry Eagles on Saturday as almost every team in the league reached out to him to discuss potentially signing him in free agency. There was many discussions and many offers to tempt Henry to make his choice. We sit down with Eagles today to discuss the process and his final decision. R: Welcome to the show Henry, lets discuss Saturday. Can you tell us how many teams reached out to you? HE: It as a lot! Wasn't expecting that many teams to reach out which made the decision an even harder one. I think by the end of the day I believe 10 out of the 16 teams in the league reached out. I think we all had good conversations and in the end I had to make a difficult choice. R: I think your choice of Seattle surprised everyone, no one really saw that coming and many thought you would have picked a cup contender, so tell us why Seattle? HE: I think in my past media posts I have been pretty clear that I wasn't specifically looking at just cup contenders. I was open to any team whether they were cup contenders or rebuilders. My choice came down to the fact that I have always said that I always wanted to play at least 1 season in Seattle before retiring and if they made an offer they would most likely become the favorites. Their GM reached out, we had a discussion and I decided to head there and see if we can make something happen in Seattle. R: Was there any other teams that were close to changing your mind? HE: There was....Alot of great potential storylines could have been made but I won't be mentioning what teams made offers and what teams were close to stealing away Seattle's choice. I will say that there was one team that came really close to making me switch my decision on Seattle. They know who they are. In the end I reached out to all the teams before I made a choice to give them a heads up and explained my reasoning. R: Do you think you made the right choice? HE: No matter what happens this season or what some of the other teams think, I think this was the right choice for me to finish off my career in the VHL. I come to a team that is on the cusp of being a playoff contender and maybe I can help them achieve that this year. I also come to a team with a very experienced GM, I think longest serving GM in the VHL at the moment if im not mistaken, and its somewhere where I think I will be able to thrive as a player who is on the decline due to it being my last season. I have no regrets with this choice. R: Do you think that with this choice, that future Eagles players may not be well received by other gm's due to this choice? HE: I don't believe that will be the case. I think I was very open about the on going process with all the gm's I talked to and I think they all understood (even if they may not have liked) my choice. I don't think this will deter any future Eagles players that may come up for drafting or future FA. R: How do you think you will do in Seattle? HE: I am still chasing that 100 points as my career goal and that is what I will be aiming for here in Seattle. Along with trying to help this team get back into the playoffs and who knows, maybe cause an upset or two.

Henry Eagles enters his final season with much uncertainty. While he has been working out in the off-season to be the best he can be for his final season, he does not know where he will end up. With Free Agency opening Sunday, discussion cannot start until the Saturday. " I think it will be interesting and fun to see what team may be interested, I have never gone through this process and I have let my agent know that I want to personally have these discussion with interested teams and not go through him" Henry said " Honestly at this point in my career it doesn't matter to me if the team is a contender or not, I just want to be somewhere where I can help a team reach whatever goals they have and offer some experience to the younger guys" The 100 point mark has so far eluded Henry, closest he got was 96 in S91, but that is what he is setting his goal once again for his final season. "Might be a stretch at my age but doesn't hurt to set goals, teams will know they are getting a motivated player to reach that goal in my final season" Henry continued "I guess we will all see Sunday where I end up...."

3 questions 1) What is your player doing this off-season to prepare for the upcoming season? 2) What did you think of the VHL Finals? Did DC's comeback win surprise you? 3) It's regression time! How badly was your player hit (if you're in regression years) and did you do enough to prepare? (eg saved tpe or bought fighters)

Heading into his final VHL season, Henry Eagles, has announced he will be testing the FA market. "I don't know who will want an old fart like me but for any team looking for help to get the cup or even need that extra edge to push them into the playoffs, I can be that guy" Henry said during locker cleanout day " I am almost a career point per game player and teams can get about 35-40 goals out of me so I think the value is still there" Henry decided to test FA in his final year as no other Eagles has ever gone to FA and he wanted to be the first. "It can either be a interesting and fun process or it can be a early retirement if no interest out there, I guess we will find out once FA opens!" Asked if he had any regrets from Malmo "Definitely no regrets other then not winning the cup. Malmo deserved it this year after an outstanding season but it just wasn't in the cards. They are a top notch organization and just to clear things up as I don't want the media spreading rumors, me leaving for FA has nothing to do with the team. It is just something I wanted to test out in my career, I had a great conversation with the team and GM about this before the start of last season so that this was not a surprise"

I think this is the first time ever in Fantasy zone where I had 0 tpe in the first 3 weeks....jeeze lol

As Henry got older, he taught things would be easier but as he has come to know....they haven't. After a successful season last year setting career highs in assists and points and tying goals, Henry has taken a step back and has once again got off to a slow start, which has been the story of his career. 22 games in and only 15 points with 10 of those being goals. If he is to get close to any point totals from last season he will need to really step it up. "I don't know what the problem is to be honest, usually I have an answer but this time I dont" Henry said " I have been doing the same things but hey maybe its because i'm one year older and that means im just slower and not seeing the ice as clearly as before. Team is playing well so it's definitely not that the team is not doing well, I just cant put a finger on it" Henry recently resigned for one year with Malmo to help them go after the cup but if things continue at this pace, it won't be Henry that will be doing any of the helping.
