  1. 1. Fuck VHLM. It's a one and done kind of thing, not staying there forever. Kill VHLE. I want lower scoring in the VHL, only way to do that is getting rid of the E. Marry VHL, its my long term home, where ill be staying and topping for 8 seasons. 2. Tons of jerseys and team memorabilia, then a ton of cards. 3. The feeling that you know you're gonna win. QUESTIONS 1. Who is your VHL idol? 2. If you could play in any era, which would you choose and why? 3. Would you prefer the VHL to have longer careers or stay the way it is?

  5. People commonly look back on the best players to be the ones with the high TPE totals. But today, I will be looking into who I think are the top 5 centers from the portal era who never reached 1000 TPE. #5- Kyl Oferson 979 TPE @Nykonax Career Stats/Highlights 269 Goals 364 Assists 633 Points 65 Power Play Goals 2 Continental Cups Oferson is the most recent player on the list, only retiring in season 78. After having a rough rookie season with 40 points, Oferson started to pick up the points. In his next 2 seasons he had 74 and 94 respectively before hitting his career high of 100 in S74. After that season, he settled into a pretty solid 81 points per season until his retirement. #4- Vyacheslav Smirnov TPE 813 @Banackock Career Stats/Highlights 360 Games Played 223 Goals 286 Assists 509 Points 48 Powerplay goals 44 Points in 33 Playoff Games S62 Christian Stolzschweiger Award 200 Career +/- Smirnov sits in a peculiar situation,a short yet amazing career. In his rookie year, S62, Smirnov put up 63 goals and 86 assists to easily win the Stolzschweiger award. 149 Points was good enough for third in the league in S62. Following such a great season, regression is to be expected. For the next four seasons Smirnov averaged 90 points before retiring early. The most impressive fact about Smirnov is his points per game, an outstanding 1.42. Had Smirnov played all 8 seasons, he would’ve been on pace for 817 points. #3- Marc Alexandre Leblanc TPE 919 @Pandar Career Stats/Highlights 504 Games Played 297 Assists 327 Goals 624 Points 278 +/- 57 Points in 55 Playoff Games Similar to Smirnov, Leblanc did not play all 8 seasons that he was able to, but he still put up great numbers. In his 7 seasons, Leblanc played for Riga, Calgary, Toronto and Helsinki. Despite changing multiple teams Lebanc remained consistent in his scoring other than a dip in his second season. His final 5 years ranged from 89-104 points and a below average number of penalty minutes. Leblanc managed to have 7 consistently good seasons despite never crossing the 1000 TPE mark. #2- Fook Yu 996 TPE @tfong Career Stats/Highlights 264 Goals 350 Assists 614 Points 2682 Hits 309 +/- Yu is the only player on this list to not have a single 100 point season, with his highest being 98 in season 56. Out of the players showcased, Yu also has the most individual trophies. Yu won both the Scott Boulet and the Dustin Funk in season 55, which are given to the top two way forward and the most improved player. The next year he added a Daisuke Kanou, awarded to the best player in the playoffs and a Continental cup. Yu was a force at both ends of the ice, capable of doing it all. #1- Shawn Gretzky 895 TPE @TheLastOlympian07 Career Stats/Highlights 281 Goals 393 Assists 674 Points 288 +/- It was a tough decision to choose who number 1 would be, but it’s hard to beat a guy with 674 points. Gretzky never had any outstanding years. In season 57 and 58 he would see the peak of his career after hitting 113 points and 108 respectively. Following those seasons, he went on to put up 73 before finishing his career off with 81 and 82. Gretzky was one of the final recipients of the Grimm Jonsson trophy, awarded to the best leader in the league. Overall, Gretzky was an offensive powerhouse who can't be beat with only 895 TPE.
  6. What discord were you recruited from?
  7. Review: One thing that sticks out to me is the numbering on the jersey and the logo crest on the neck. Both are pretty solid and look realistic. I like the way you have the logo wrapping around the jersey, making it look more realistic. You only joined the league a month and a half ago and I really think you have good potential here you can build on easily. Additionally, I really like how you added a few sentences to describe why you chose the render, it's not something you see often but it added a lot for me. 6/10. Overall pretty average but I think with some more graphics and work you could be really good.
  8. Review: I like it. It brings in a few different comedic aspects with the time of the year person of the year event and Mclovin himself. The text and shadow on the graphic are two small things that I enjoy. One thing though, absolutely huge graphic I mean elephant sized graphic I gotta hit the scroll wheel 3 times to get by this thing. Another thing I would improve is lining up Mclovin's head to the top of the red on the bottom of the graphic, there's a small black bar visible. I'd also like to see his head in front of the time logo as it's normally like that on the real magazines. 6/10
  9. 1. No need for any free agents or trades, the team's on an absolute tear right now with 24 wins in a row, taking 1st place in the NA. 2. This season has been amazing, I don't expect Chicago to win forever but I can see them having an amazing record with only a couple losses from now on. 3. No need to rebuild right now, go all in and try to win the second cup in the franchises short history. 4. I will, I was Chicago's original AGM and need to respect my players. Saying that, their will be no party. 5. Chicago started great to be amazing, Jeff as a GM, great players and most importantly me as AGM. They won a cup that's cool and they're pretty decent now. 6. With Camus retiring, the team needs another goalie and could use one in a draft or trade.
  10. With the current theme week being life after the VHL I figured it would be a good idea to look into the current life’s of my two retired players as well as hearing about the plans for Hulk Hogan 2 following the end of his career. I’ve had three players so far, starting with Hulk Hogan with Tanky sandwiched in the middle before Hulk Hogan 2 was created. You know their stories on the ice, and now here's the rest. Hulk Hogan Following his illustrious 8 season career in Seattle, Hogan commissioned a brand new house to be built on the outskirts of Seattle, it was a large house spanning across 12 acres of beautiful land that he had carefully designed. It's no secret to the people of Seattle that it’s Hogan’s house. If it's not the red and yellow bushes, it’s the grass where his face has been permanently stained into the ground as a beautiful mosaic, revealing his toothy white grin to passerbyers as they look up the hill leading to his house. If somebody gets too close they may hear an all too familiar tune. Real American plays softly in the surrounding areas of his house, emanating from the trees, flowers and fountains outside. No matter how close you are, something will always be visible sitting proudly in the front window. The Alexander Beketov trophy, awarded to the player with the most assists over the course of one season. It’s illuminated in the large front window for all to see, upon closer inspection it reads S71 Alexander Beketov Trophy: Awarded to Hulk Hogan and Erik Summers. Ever since retirement, Hogan has lived a relatively quiet life, except for the fact he goes to every Seattle Bears game and sits outside asking passing fans if they want autographs or a picture, only 5$ each. For the first couple seasons following his retirement his tables were quite popular with long lines and loving fans. Nowadays, he’ll get a few kids a game and that's it. Hogan says he will continue to set up his table outside of Seattle's games. Stating, “It's all for the fans brother.” Tanky After playing only two seasons in the VHL, Tanky was unable to find a team in the league that wanted to sign him. With nowhere to go, he finished his career in the VHL and moved on. Team’s not wanting him has been happening over the past 18 years for him. Tanky is now still playing hockey at 36 years old across the Atlantic in Ireland. He continues to instill fear into the league’s players with his physical play and violence. Tanky told reporters after leaving the VHL that he was nowhere near being done playing hockey, his wrath will continue until he’s dominated every league in the entire world. In Tanky’s four seasons away from the VHL, he has been suspended from four leagues. Tanky has vowed to continue his path through every hockey league in the world. Stating “I can't be retired until everybody feels my wrath” Hulk Hogan 2 Hulk Hogan 2 is set to be immediately killed following his final game. Hulk Hogan 2 understands this. Stating “I know what must happen”

  13. The Yukon Rush have just accomplished a feat in the VHLM never seen before, scoring 13 goals in a single game. This came in a big win over the Mississuaga Hounds, a team Yukon has had the advantage against all season. The three stars from the game were Harkat Mulds, Zaza Colors and Chicken Nugget. Mulds had an impressive four goal and one assist game while Colors added another hat trick and an assist. Sting Chameleon, Link Zhang and Hulk Hogan 2 provided five, four and four asissts respectively. The Rush outshot the Hounds 84-12, with 22 of the shots coming from former Hound Hulk Hogan 2 despite him not scoring one goal. A 13 goal game has not been seen within the past 45 seasons in the VHLM, and it is unlikely it will be seen in the near future. The Rush are first in the league with a record of 34-2-1 while the Hounds are 3rd to last at 6-25-5.
  14. Review: 8/10. I really like the effect done on the render and It let you put the logo on the jersey perfectly, it looks as if that was the real logo and you just added a filter. I like the green splatters and the text but I think the blue background could be changed for a better effect. Right now it reminds me of the default windows browser, it could be a bit darker to match the jersey.
  15. Review 9/10. I just like everything about this. The text fits well, matches the colour scheme and is the one of the first things I noticed. The first being the render, as for some reason it really pops to me and seems to be in front of everything else. Another thing I really enjoyed was the small logo changes, the sword just sticks out on the jersey and I had barely noticed it on the first look. The helmet also features a swap but the logo is a bit grainy and hard to see, if it were more visible it would look amazing. If the render could be a higher quality that would be really nice too
  16. 1. Just mean's more vhl.coms. Not sure when trivia's coming but its a bit weird. 2. The team doesn't need much, if its possible to improve without giving away much and our future that would be nice. 3. I think it will end up being between Towbacker and Karljalainen, both guys are on powerhouse teams. Hopefully we keep earning TPE to push Kyosti to the top. 4. The main thing I've noticed for Hogan 2 is consistency, he's pretty much stayed at his 2 points per game pace while a lot of the higher scorers have dropped from their insane stats of 3-4 points a game. I think if he's able to ignite a fire underneath him he could maybe catch up to everyone else and have a chance at winning something. 5. Another one next game? 6. The letter R.

  18. Hulk Hogan 2 Following in Hogan’s footsteps. It’s well documented Hulk Hogan was never an award winner, only sharing the season 71 Beketov trophy for assists. Despite being a consistent top 10 performer he was never able to reach a trophy for himself. It seems as if Hulk Hogan 2 will be repeating history this season in the VHLM. He currently sits 3rd in defensemen, 8th in assists and 8th in shot blocks while also being a top powerplay scorer, with the second most points and goals. First ever Hogan hat trick For the first time ever in the Hogan lineage, a hat trick has been scored. It came in an 11-4 victory over the San Diego Marlins. Hogan 2 knocked up 5 points, 3 of which being goals on the powerplay for his first of many hat tricks to come. Maximus Decimus Meridius put up an even more impressive performance in this game, with another hat trick and 3 assists.
  19. 1. The team had tons of people that bring good leadership to Yukon, it was great to be selected as an alternate and I hope to help out our team as much as possible, and I'm sure the others would agree. 2. The team is doing amazing, we've only seen one loss so far, we're a top scoring team league wide and are serious contenders early on. 3. Maintaining such a high point per game would be extremely hard but still possible. I can see Colors slightly dropping off in points, not because they're bad, just because three a game is incredibly high. 4. It's a bit of a weird pick but Kyosti's shot percentage is too insane to ignore. He leads the team in goals and is up there in the league leaders as well. Shooting 20% is insane. 5. Needs to improve to at least a .950 before he flashes on my radar. 6. Most of them have hat tricks. For example, I never do
