I lead the forward group in points, top 5 in goals and top 3 in assists, top 3 in face offs and I didn’t even get nominated for playoff MVP? What?

  14. Sorry for the very late reply, here are my answers! 1. I'm feeling good right now, having a really good time ,stepped into a VHLM role and I really am hoping to bring some fun and activity to the league which hasn't happened for me in a while! 2. I like the community and the activity mostly, it keeps me going. 3. I've always been a Seattle fan because 99% of my players have gone there, so I feel like they are close to home, but I don't have a bias towards any teams atm. 4. I was very happy with my season. I finished with close to 60 points and made it to the playoff finals, leading the league in points, really thrilled. 5. He's a big sucker for cereal, game day it's just crushing a box of cereal and enjoying every moment of it. Fruit Loops, Frosted Flakes, the OG's, you name it, I like it.

  16. PLAYER NAME: MIKHAIL VEGA POSITION: CENTER PLAYER TYPE: PLAYMAKER DOB: July 11th, 2000 PLACE OF BIRTH: STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN HEIGHT: 6'2 WEIGHT: 200lbs NUMBER: 88 EARLY LIFE & STRICT PARENTING We know Mikhail was born, when he was born, where he was born, this is all common knowledge through reading a scouting report, through looking at his player profile and so on, so obviously, this is not where we begin. Instead, we begin at the age of four, where Mikhail is a little more talkative, a little more mature and a little more desired by his father to be pushed into sporting. Mikhail grew up rich, we'll throw that out there right now. The life of luxury, his parents were pretty much living the lives of kings and queens in the richest part of Sweden that money could buy. Because of this, the upbringing that Mikhail was used to while intense, was luxurious. His parents had it all, the cars, the money, the nannies, the big house, the massive pool, if you wanted to be spoiled, you'd join the Vega family. The Vega name was among some of the elite in the sporting world, his father being a coach for both hockey and soccer, and his mother being a CEO by day, coach by night, they knew their way around fields, ice rinks and more, they were very, very knowledgeable. And at this young age of four, Mikhail learned right away what his path would be, not by choice but by force of his father just simply telling him to do so. While he lived this life of luxury however, things were not always luxurious. Because of how serious his father took to sporting, Mikhail even being such a young age was put through numerous strength conditioning tests, he was put through numerous cardio tests, he was doing things that most normal four year old's wouldn't even comprehend doing, and all the while having to attend his kindergarten classes each and every day of the week. This lifestyle never changed, however the only thing that did change was his comprehension of his living ways and what it meant for people to be poor, and people to be rich. Even diving into his teen years, Mikhail never had to go to school, he was home schooled by one of the top teachers around the world who would do home visits four days a week. Mikhail had spectacular scores on any kind of testing, he was very intelligent because his parents more or less forced him to be, and because of all this strain, Mikhail would eventually develop depression. While the story took a bit of a dark turn, fear not, he's better now, but in the early stages of his life, he was very depressed. He had no destiny of his own, no focus, no goals, they were all made up by his parents, primarily his father who chose just about every move he made, and Mikhail was the one to suffer. His parents never believed him when he came to them and admitted his sadness, his depression, his desire to want to just drop everything and 'be normal', but for the billionaires his parents where, nothing was ever...normal. HOCKEY CAREER FLOURISHES At some point in his lifetime, Mikhail dropped the depression after seeking counselling, and actually found a love and a passion for hockey, something he had never believed he'd desire just simply due to not jumping into it himself. It wasn't until around sixteen where the Swedish Elite League began to talk to Mikhail about his talents. They seen his natural ability to skate around the opposition with ease. They also seen his ability to always have his head up and always make passes some people didn't even see a lane for. His ability was taught, but his skill was something he possessed that would have just been wasted had he not taken up hockey, he was a shining star. The SEL couldn't sign him or draft him until the age of eighteen, this is two years of Mikhail just competing at a pro youth level winning championships both through his school hockey team and some out of school hockey teams. Once he finally turned eighteen however, that's when things intensified. As he turned eighteen, the SEL commissioner got a hold of Mikhail and explained the 'expected desire' to have him join the league. Mikhail sought his parents approval who were actually very open about him going there and actually admitted they likely would have sent him there regardless, as they are the top league in their home country. Mikhail played one full season with the SEL, recording thirty-two goals, fifty-six assists for a total of eighty-eight points. He was by far the top player on his team and was first in the league for assists and points, he was an elite superstar by his eighteenth birthday and this impressed scouts all over the world, which brings us to the present. VHLM PRESENT DAY And then we arrive here, the VHLM and the promising times of the man known as Mikhail Vega. Vega was brought into the VHLM by player agent iRockstar who is very familiar with well-known talent and bringing in elite level superstars. He contacted the Vega family to make them an offer to bring him over to North America where he would be contacted by one of the few VHLM teams in order to hopefully find some success. Without hesitation after his player agent received just their very first offer from Ottawa, but Mikhail and iRockstar came to the conclusion that this would be the destination for him, as iRockstar has found great success with his young players in this organization, and wanted to find more in the seasons to come. Mikhail joined half way through two seasons ago where he would only play a few games and amount to a minimal amount of points, however this season Mikhail was top ten in points, assists, minutes played, game winning goals, powerplay goals and more, leading him to become one of the top players in the minor leagues. Not only was that an accomplishment in itself, the Lynx made the playoffs and Vega ended up becoming the best player out of the forward side of the game, amounting the top amount of assists, being top five in goals, being the top point player and so much more. There was no telling just what Mikhail could amount to doing but with one season left under his belt before hitting the big leagues, there is no telling what Mikhail is going to do, only time will tell!
  17. The season for some had already ended weeks ago, but for the Ottawa Lynx, the dream was still alive. Day after day, the Lynx and the Wild were battling back and forth for the championship every young player was dreaming of obtaining, and while it wouldn't happen for all of them, it was about to happen for some of them. When everyone in Ottawa seen game seven in their sights, their eyes lit up, the hearts of all the Ottawa fans were lifted, and there was that last glimmer of hope, that the team would succeed. But to turn a sappy story into a crappy story... the Ottawa Lynx lost the game, by one...freaking...goal. It was devastating, it was hard to comprehend, and none of the Ottawa players wanted to believe they came all this way to lose, but there was some upside...they at least made it to the finals, and only two teams can say that every year and this year was a good one, and the team seemed to be in good spirits about it all, about as good of spirits as they could be, anyways. Not all of the news was bad however, there was some good to it all. Mikhail Vega was a star for his team, despite being one of the youngest on his team, he was by far one of the best. While his regular season was just sort of, meh...his playoffs were one to remember. Mikhail was able to put up five goals, ten assists for fifteen points throughout the playoffs and while this doesn't sound like a lot, he actually managed to lead all of the forwards at every position in points, while being top ten in the playoffs for goals and top three in the playoff for assists. He was only beaten in points by one player who was his own teammate on defense, Ironside (19 points), but this was a huge milestone for him, because despite not winning, his name could be mentioned for playoff MVP due to his age, but we'll have to see about that.
