After a vacation I have came back to realize how insane my team in Rome is playing, with only just squeezing into the playoffs kicking the Watchmen out by only 1 point. I am happy to see how well the team is doing and I hope to get the cup! With the first round said and done, there are some great things that came out of it, mainly that Rome won the first round, and we have a shot at the cup. I have never won a championship in the VHL, so I hope it comes out well. It feels really good to have contributed a lot with 4 goals and 7 assists in the 7 games, but there is much room for improvement on the defensive side as I have a -4 but the whole team struggled keeping out goals, so I am not too upset. I can’t wait to see if we can win this next series, I am mainly hoping for a beautiful sweep.

Intro As Brendan Marner seemed to have cleaned his act, another story seemed to have arisen. As he is playing very well, and making millions in the VHLE, this story is somewhat a surprise. With more and more reports, it is a very serious matter that needs to be watched in Rome. What’s happening? Although he seemed to have cleaned his acts, he was seen in a high school in Rome collecting cash. It is speculation that this is happening but with about 40 eyewitness accounts and 2 of them being the actual customers, it is quite clear it is undoubtable true, (allegedly) he is selling drugs to minors. The Problem, Why would he do this is a great question, if you are in the VHL why need that cash? Just to have it? No, he came around telling kids it will help their hockey career. Some believe he was handing out steroids, however, one of the purchasers told cameras that it was cocaine lased shrooms. “He told me to not take too many at once, as that will make me paralyzes from the waist UP.” Unheard of I tell you! These shrooms are very special if that’s true, as it is defying science. Why should we care? Well for starters, if that’s all you need to be good at hockey it is encouraged that you try so— *Audio cuts* Never mind to that last thing, our lawyer said that wasn’t a good endorsement. He has been playing great, and it is uncertain if Marner is selling for money, or to get rid of his stash. Regardless, he is selling to our children, and it is not right, we should be selling to our kids fi— *Audio cuts* My apologies, it was made aware to me I can’t say that either. Stupid, everyone does it right? Anyways, he is selling to kids, and the citizens are outraged by this fact, they, once again made a petition to get him out of the league. So far it has not gone to far as less people have signed it than the last one about him. Thoughts Some students have been really criticizing Marner, “He needs to go, he is not welcome here, it was cool at first, but this stuff has not improved my performance at all in hockey, I thought I would be in the next draft according to him.” Other students said, “Let the man live, he helped me with my anxiety, but I see monkeys everywhere.” I think this student was high. Conclusion In the end, Marner will likely never stop his controversies, it is too much in his nature to do so. With every day going by, why would he change? With this latest backlash, it is unlikely that he will sell much more, but crazier things have happened. I think with the season ending his drama will be spotted more and more, as playoffs are stressful, and, of course, he has a history of it. To keep up to date with all the drama, stay tuned.

Very well written article, shows a good summary of what Joe has gone through the past few seasons. The stats provided the reader a good understanding of how good this guy is, but I kind of whish I heard what the trade was, was it seen as a blockbuster multi-player trade? Regardless it was very well done, and I couldn't find too much to criticize. I am excited to see what the future holds for Joe! 9/10

Congrats! Great to hear you are getting through and almost done school, even though you wanted more normal semesters, but its good to go through school and get a good job. It wasnt really a VHL article, but it was still good. With more time out of school it would be great to see you more active around and on discord! 7/10

The point spread of the VHLE has widened after 50 games played. With the Watchmen and Wolves only 2 points apart in the first and second place, they are very close, and they have very clearly taken the top positions, withy 72 and 70 points respectively, they are looking great. The Vikings, Express, and Gladiators are within the top 3 to top 5 in the league, each within 4 points and has seemingly locked down those positions. With Vikings 63 points (7 points behind 2nd), Express 62 points and Gladiators 59 points, they all have a great team, although they are well behind the first 2 teams the rivalries are still hitting. The Iron Eagles and Storm are next in line within 2 points of each other and will be fighting for that 6th spot With Iron Eagles 43 points that is 16 points behind 5th making it unlikely they will catch up to that, and the Storm has 41 points. Lastly the Rush are way behind, with only 26 points, that is 15 points behind 7th, it is unlikely they will make it far this season and will likely look for top picks to be a future powerhouse.

5 TPE Uncapped Doubles Week (6 TPE uncapped from a PT being done)

I do like that, I kinda feel its not as rewarding than it should be for the big contracts and people who spend much time here, but that's my opinion, and you are right, there are lots of other things to put time into too.

Sorry to hear about you cat, its always tough when you lose an friend like that, I really hope you find him. I have also lost a cat myself, after waking up, our door outside was randomly open, I don't know why or how, but we searched and searched, and we couldn't find him anywhere. What I thought and hopped that someone brought him inside their house on the cold winter night and just didn't see the fliers we put out. Its a rough time but I really do hope you can find him alive and well. Although this was not as much a VHL article, you did include a VHL portion to it, and to that part, do the build you wanna go for, I hate how it is said to be so op as well. It was very well written, especially through this time for you. 10/10

Very interesting article, I like how different it is than most, but it is every fun to read still. With all of the stats included it definately has a lot of information to give off, but still in a fun and entertaining way. I would love to know why you picked the categories you did, some seem random, but that honestly doesn't matter. Love to see more of theses! 9/10

The player store is fascinating, with many different things to buy with your contract it is sometimes hard to think of what you should buy. To start off I think the first 2 purchases should be obvious, The First generation, and First Gen Doubles. These will give you respectively 5 and 6 uncapped tpe for a cheap price, and since you can only get it once a year, it is something you should get first. But what about after that? You can do a free week to avoid doing a point task for one week, or upgrades to gain an extra capped tpe for 8 weeks. However, if you are good at keeping up with capped tasks, then this might not be the best option. You can double or triple your prediction point, but it seems to be more of a gamble, there is rerolls and recalls getting attributes back from a specific or all the stats to place elsewhere, but if you like your player than there is no need for this. There is position switch, which will give you the chance to go to defense from forward or visa versa. Another is the ones to avoid depreciation, over time this would be a great purchase to be had, but with the high price, and being long in the future, some would not see it as a buy now type of purchase. The last are the uncapped full week doubles, the pt doubles and uncapped tpe package. These will give someone the opportunity to gain tpe without it being part of the capped, just to increase total points. I would personally save to the 4 tpe x 5 as that will give you a total of 20 tpe over time and is worth 6 million but will give an advantage of at least 2 uncapped tpe overall rather than if you used it for the other 2.

I enjoyed the read, I think the interview was well written for the most part and its awesome to hear about your players success. I would like to know about what you, or suggestions of what you think the team could possibly do to improve the losing problem for Calgary. However it was very well done and I will be looking forward to seeing more! 8/10

I liked the in-depth look at the last 2 games played, I think they were very informative and shown us the current struggles in Calgary. I liked all the statistics included with an article like this, and the name dropping where needed. With that being said I hope Calgary can comeback on top sooner than later! 8/10

With the VHL charity taking over this December, it is seemingly more and more successful. Without any numbers or goal counters that I can find, it is unknown what the league is currently at, however between the simple donations to get a free week, and the bids for certain objects and services, it is obviously very successful. The auction items seem very interesting too, with Jardys underwear already reaching 30$ how much more can this reach? With that being only one of the 2 pages of auctions, what is the total donations just from auctions right now? And what will it end to be? It is a very exciting time to be apart of the VHL and it is time to give back to the community! I like the support that is given through this rough time and didn’t expect so many bids, donations, and even auction suggestions, it is just nice to see after what the world has went through. With so many different opportunities to get raffles tickets, tpe, and old underwear, it is quite a thrilling end to the year.
