As we jump into the off season, we can finally focus on the events to come and see how our prospect pool improves. It will be a fun and fast time. I like the off season feeling and the anticipation of the new season. Expectations are a notch higher and the team is ready to tackle whatever comes at us. Will this be Toronto's breakout season? Odds are no, it won't be. Are we going to push as hard as possible? You can bet your sweet ass every player on the team is committed to winning. Talking about the team and where it's headed and not saying anything about our GM Peace would be bad mojo. Peace has been one of the most active GM's I have ever played for. He is level headed and tries his best at improving the team for the present and future. Many players are long term committed to the team because of the passion he shows for the team and players alike. This upcoming season will be fun to play. We won't be on many lists to win it all, but I can say we will give it our all.

1. Heading into the draft do you feel comfortable with the direction of the team? Indeed I do. 2. How have you spent your off-season so far? Training? Relaxing? Training with some fun mixed in. 3. Looking ahead to the new season, we're going to have some additional firepower as our picks from the last draft will make their Toronto debuts, what do these young guys bring to the table? I think they are going to be fun to watch as they grow into their roles. I look for some high energy from the youth. 4. Which Toronto player is poised for a breakout season? Just about any second season player has a shot at breaking out. We have talent and I expect we are in for a surprise. 5. Looking at the roster now, do you believe the Legion have what it takes to make the playoffs this time around? I believe we will make the playoffs if our defense has improved even a little bit. Looks very good to me. 6. Toronto is looking for some new drinks to sell in concessions once fans come back, give us your favorite drink recipes (Both Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic accepted)! I would take a nice cold Yahoo.

Review: Not sure how to grade this. It is very basic and but balanced, just not on par with previous work from you. Overall it's fine. 8/10

Review: It's interesting. Good part is that you have all the right elements to assemble a good graphic. Now you just need to work on sizing, format and a bit of layer adjustments. Good effort, keep working on your skills. 7/10

Great design. I think you are only the 2nd member to ever make a sig with my player. Love the retro look. @Jubis

Review: What is not to like about this graphic. Fun and uplifting. In the spirit of Christmas, you did a fine job. 10/10

Review: I like the design concept. I am not crazy about the font but that is a design choice and I can see that it has some connection with the overall look. Lightning looks like an afterthought but it does work. Good work. 7.5/10

1. Did you do anything social for New Years Eve? I played Cold War most of the night. 2. Personally I'm not one to make resolutions. Are you? What are they (if you're willing to share)? I don't make resolutions as I tend to forget about them the next day. 3. Toronto's finish in the lottery tournament doesn't give us any additional chance to win a higher pick, but we've still got two top seven picks regardless... what are your thoughts about that? We will be fine. The cream floats to the top in the VHL. A later pick could be better than the first. 4. This off-season has felt long and tiring for me... what about yourself? Same, let's get this going already. 5. What are some of the things you look forward to in S76? Of course I want to be a top five forward but team wins are the most important and I think we will see more success next season. 6. Final question: What was the first meal you ate in 2021? (Mine was a bunch of breakfast Pogo's) Egg McMuffin

Well we did it. We all made it through what could be the worst year in modern history. Let's hope for a much better year ahead. This is a great time to work on some skills, stay active in the locker room and try to be a good influence on others. Not that any of that will happen, but it's the thought that counts right? It really is exciting as the playoffs wind down. So much happens in the off season. I am looking forward to the draft. I hope we can land that special player. Special meaning actively improving his skills. We already have a great group of players that are eager to succeed. I think this next season we will see a couple have breakout seasons. I can't wait to get back on the ice. Merrick was surrounded by some really talented players that will only get better. There will be some inter squad competition for sure. Bragging rights matter. Hope everyone got the toys they wanted. Stay safe wherever you are.

The Seattle Bears Dynasty - S68-S73 - A Comprehensive History
Steve replied to Victor's topic in Archived Media Spots
Fun times with the Bears. Much respect for Bana and the team. -
Well the season ended and we are on the outside looking in. Toronto had a very good season in every aspect except winning. The players are working hard to become better and the future is even more brighter. We knew going into this season it was a development year. The team played several impressive games with standout performances from many on the team. It was a learning season and we now know what we need to succeed in the future. Our team is dedicated to being a top contender in the seasons upcoming. We had several players in the top ten in many categories. That is a good indication that we are on the right path. I think this time, Toronto will have a solid foundation to sustain success for many seasons. From our rookies to our veteran players, everyone is pushing hard to become better. Lead by a GM that has the skill and knowledge to make the right moves. While it is never a good feeling to miss the playoffs, we are proud of the team and what we have done during the season. Next season should be interesting.

Review: It's big. Logo could use a tad of blurr to match the render. Contrast is fairly bland but looks like it how you wanted it. Not bad. Happy New Years. 7/10
-
Review: Looks like a solid design. It's way too large but other than that it stays within your concept. A bit more render detail would help this though that could be how you wanted it. Good effort. 7/10

1. How was your Christmas? Very good. Stayed home and enjoyed the peace and quiet. 2. Do you have any plans between now and New Years? Stay home and enjoy the peace and quiet. 3. What did you get? Socks, underwear and a tie. 4. What are you looking forward too in 2021? A Covid free world. 5. VHL related now... but what do you think of Toronto's season? We came together and did played an honest game. 6. On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate your players performance in 75? Merrick exceeded all expectations for the season, thanks to his linemates.

Review: Impressive sig. Simple background but it works. The effects over the render seem a little disconnected from the background but as a whole, it works. Great placement of your render and text. Not easy to pull off centered renders but this looks well balanced. Great job. 8.5/10

Review: One thing about reviewing, you can't just look at someone's graphic and compare it to what you like but what the member is aiming for. With this thought process, I think this graphic is very cool and retro. Font/text, render, colors all work within this design and I could not make any suggestions to change it. Well done, I like where you went with this. 8.5/10 @Mrpenguin30

This week I am going to focus on my player and team. John Merrick has been playing really well all season long. I credit that to having excellent team mates and a GM that is doing what he can for the future of the team. Merrick has been near the top of the league in points and with a lot of luck in the final games, could actually be the top scorer. Building off a solid season last year, Merrick continues to improve in the areas needed to be a good center. Looking at the team, we have tons of talent. We have some defensemen that will be solid in the near future and the forwards, well, we are in the top group in offense so that part of the team is running like a well oiled machine. I see nothing but good things for Toronto. Great team spirit and the desire to succeed. Even though we are missing the big show this season, as of now we are positive in or goals for and against. This highlights the effort our youth has been putting in to make themselves and the team a true championship contender in the upcoming seasons. Good to be in Toronto. I would easily pick this team if I were a rookie wanting to play and be a part of something special. Safe holidays to all.

New York Americans Press Conference Questions
Steve replied to STZ's topic in Team Press Conferences
1. We currently sit 2nd last in the VHL, however 9 points ahead of LAS. Can they catch us in the standings? No, you guys are firmly in that place. 2. Have you looked at the S76 draft class? Who goes 1st Overall? I haven't looked but I hear it is kind of deep. 3. Who is the most underrated player on NYA? I would say most of the team has been underrated. Good players here. 4. There were only 2 trades at the trade deadline this past monday. How can GM's be incentivized to make more deadline deals? Only deal when it fits in with the overall plan. 5. Do you have a favourite video game currently? Black Desert Online 6. Do you prefer giving gifts or receiving them? I like it both ways. -
Thank you. Stay safe everyone.
