Toronto is is a great position in the standings this late into the season. We have fought our way out of a piss poor start and have come together to become a functioning unit. I have lost most games by a single goal and have showed well against most of the top teams. The team has played well with less overall talent than some teams. After a losing streak of a handful of games, the GM cleverly changed things up and got us back on track. The players are well motivated and are ready to finish out the season strong. We are in a very tight race for third in the west. One bad sim and we could fall in the standings. These last games will be critical for us. The players are in great spirits and are eager to get into the playoffs. It will be a fun time this post season. I have sat out a few times and it isn't fun at all. Toronto is ready to take on whoever we are matched with. The hype level is real, the players a foaming at the mouth. Let's get this season done. Playoffs is the place to be.

Toronto is trying to push clear of a couple of teams to solidify a playoff spot early in the season. It's been an interesting schedule we have and we need to take advantage of the games in hand that we have. With the way the sim goes, it's a total crap shoot at this point. Toronto went on a massive win streak, showing they can compete with any club, then we turn around and lose to an expansion team. Typical fickle Simon T at his best. Even on this roller coaster win/lose run we are on now, Toronto should pull out some wins to separate us from a team or two. Tough battles and hard work should get us back to winning more than losing. We are a dedicated bunch and I expect we will be on the right path soon enough. Toronto is in a great spot with games in hand, I believe we will take full advantage of those games and get back to putting some wins together.

Review: Centered graphics is a hard thing to pull off. Your render is very poor quality and that should be the element that holds your eye. You have some interesting elements, just doesn't seem to work with this project. Logo swap could have been blended a bit better but isn't horrible. Your font choice looks out of place as well. You have a solid design, but it will take a lot of work to pull it off. I would work on getting your render nice and clean with good detail, then build around your render. Good try, just needs some adjustments. 7/10 @Matmenzinger

Review: Not bad looking. You are keeping with the same design, for the most part, that you have had great success with. I would agree that the render is a bit small. The background fits the design. Text/font looks good but most importantly, it is placed in a reasonable position. 8/10 @Kekzkrieg I would start to push yourself more. You have the skill to try different things. I would really like to see you take the next step. Good job.

1. Toronto recently acquired Oh Sens from Helsinki for a third and two fourth round draft picks. What do you think of the deal? / (For osens): How are you enjoying your time on Toronto? It was a good trade. He started producing right off the bat. 2. Chad Magnum -- seems like we mention him a lot here -- has been quietly leading the Legion for seasons, so it shouldn't be a surprise that he's atop our scouring chart once again. Do you think he has another opportunity to win the 'best two-way forward' award again? I would most certainly vote for him. Hard worker, great teammate. 3. Jaxx Hextall seems to be struggling, what do you think can calm his nerves for the upcoming games? / (For Rookie) How do you keep yourself motivated during times where you've been frustrated with your performance? I think the whole team needs to come together and make sure we are helping our tenders the best we can. We support both our goalies because that is a very tough position to play. 4. Toronto's current record is 21-19-3, good for 45 points in the NA Conference, so do you think we can maintain a playoff spot now? Chicago, Calgary, New York and Toronto are all competing for the fourth and fifth spots at the moment, although Chicago is overperforming similarly to how S72 TOR did. We have the tools, we will be there at the end of the season. 5. Once more Toronto has played the least amount of games compared to... literally any other VHL team. When do you think we'll catch up, if we do at all during the season? Most likely on the last day of the season. That's how crazy the schedule is. 6. John Merrick is trailing the Warsaw duo for top rookie (which is unfortunate because they're an expansion team and are more likely to give points to rookies). Do you think he can overcome them and start leading the rookie race? / (For Steve) Merrick has three games in hand over the other top rookies, do you think you can climb ahead of them? Although that would be great to get, it would be hard to pass a duo that has a clearer path in gaining points. John will be happy with whatever happens. Rookie seasons are frustrating at times. Glad to be on the list.

Thirty four games into the season and Toronto has found their legs. With five consecutive wins, it moves them up the ladder with other teams just ahead. It has been a whole team effort and the players have pushed themselves to be better. As the season progresses, I see Toronto being in a good position for the playoffs. This would be a huge accomplishment. The defense has been really strong. The forwards seem to be playing a 200 foot game as well. This translates into more help for our goalie. We are on the plus side of goals for and goals against and it seems to be getting better each week. All signs of a team that has made the right adjustments and players willing to put in the work. Good days are coming to Toronto. On a personal note, my player John Merrick is having a fine rookie season. He looks to contribute when he can and the team picks him up when he makes rookie mistakes. A player couldn't ask for a better team to play on. Let's see what this roller coaster sim has in store for us this coming week.

Review: Nice detail in our render. Text looks like it is one blend mode away from being really good. The ice background is a bit plain and would have made a better overlay for a final touch than the main background. Overall, not bad. Cool effects on the render, font is bold and easy to read. It just needs something to bring all that together. 7/10

Review: I like the concept but some elements aren't working for me. The blur is really strong on the renders arm and almost makes that a focal point. The whole thing seems too far to the left with dead space on the right. I like the simple yet effective stroke background, just not the render/text placement. You do really quality work but this one isn't doing it for me. 7/10

1. After a rough start to the season Toronto has seemingly gotten back on track, what changed with the team? We are getting better on the player level and the team has found their groove. 2. As you know I’m new to Toronto, what are some fun things to do in the city? Just about anything you would want to do that is fun is most likely in Toronto. 3. The season can be long and tough on the body, what do you do to avoid injuries and stay in form? I stay safe from the comfort of my computer chair. 4. It’s early in the season but do any teams in particular stick out as cup favorites in either the VHL or VHLM? Let's get back to that later in the season. Teams that are hot now might not be later on. 5. There have been murmurs of the league expanding yet again, where would you like to see some teams? I see no reason to expand and have no comment on where teams would be. 6. Toronto prides itself on building a strong team community, do you think we’ve done a good job so far? Yes. The team as a whole does a good job with the community.

Well after the twenty game mark, Toronto is finally finding some needed success. We have been in more one goal games, and on the losing side, way too often. The team is better than that. We will continue to adjust as needed and the leadership has been very transparent and reinforces the team game approach. Tricking Simon T into putting us on the win column isn't easy. I think we have found a bit of a sweet spot with our lines and that should, in theory, take us to victory more times than not. The team is full of excitement and there is a collective effort to make us better each week. All the ingredients that makes a good team succeed. On a personal note, John Merrick seems to be settling in with the team just fine. He is far from being a impact player but he has a role to fill and has filled it well at this point. It's a team game and nothing is more fun than come out of a day of games with wins. It is looking brighter in Toronto. Let's see how this coming week plays out. Stay safe everyone. Wear a face condom.

Review: Good looking for being new to PS. I would work on background effects and use more than one layer. Text looks very good. I like the mixed fonts and you did a great job with them. Render looks fine overall though I would try to work within a format for balance. Great job and keep working. 8/10

Review: You have a mixed bag here. I like your design with the simple background and jersey swap but the colors are just too saturated. Your color palette is on the contrasting side as well. With a format this large, the render could have been larger and the text should have been placed on the lower left third. I would work on detail over color. I am being a little more critical of this because I know you can do better. Shoulder patch should have been removed is not replaced. Very little details that could have been a tad better. Keep pushing yourself. 7/10

1. Toronto went 1-9-1 to start the season, but is 3-1-0 in their last four, do you think the tables have turned? Our record isn't a good reflection of our teams potential. I think we will do better as the season progresses. 2. Chad Magnum had six points in one of Toronto's four wins, what do you think about that accomplishment? Always good to see a teammate have a good game. 3. Rookie Merrick is doing well in the VHL so far, do you think he has a shot at the top rookie award? Though that would be nice, I don't see him being at the top over the season.4. Do you believe Toronto is starting to become underestimated? I think we are setting the foundation for a solid team in the future.5. Do you think there's a chance Toronto could climb back into a playoff picture? Yes, it is very early in the season and a we are a few good runs away from the playoffs.6. The Legion have played the least amount of games than any other team so far, yet others have three more games, how do you feel about this seemingly lopsided scheduling? It will balance out at some point right? We all play 72 games so we will get a few 3 game sims I would think.

Review: Very clean render that is well placed. The background is simple yet very effective. Font choices seem to work. I would question the shadows and lack of light source but the overall effect works. I like your work, you have a great future in graphics. 8/10

Review: Not horrible. A few things I like about this like the font and text effects aren't bad. I think the main thing is the format of this graphic. I like to see the render as the focal point but this has the text as the main attraction. While that is a design choice, I don't think it transfers into a totally enjoyable product. I would make your render larger and not centered. The text could be placed that makes it readable. Not bad, could be better. 7.5/10

1. I have a training schedule I stick to. Of course I do allow a few days to just kick back and relax. 2. I like long walks on the beach and my favorite color is red. 3. The draft is something I like management deal with. I have no opinion on the matter. 4. I am working on all aspects of my game but also trying to keep a balance in my training. 5. I do. A perfect place to be is a team that has a plan and the players that are dedicated. 6. I think they are all fine really. It would be fun to have an alternative logo that can be used.

The season has started. Right off the bat you can see several teams showing their strength. Toronto is off to not that great of a start on paper, but that should change during the season as the players become more familiar with each other and of course the players need to build some skills. Not easy as a rookie in the big league, but it is really fun to play in Toronto. The desire and dedication is there, it will come to fruition at some point. No need to panic, we will be on track and we will find our game. We know what needs to be done and with the team leadership, we will succeed. A few close games that could have gone either way and we would be in a better position. I feel that we will get some luck and have those close games go our way. Toronto will be a team to beat at some point. John Merrick is loving the team. Hard work and a bit of luck will go a long way with this team.

After a very interesting and fun season with San Diego, John Merrick now gets his chance to grow with a great team, Toronto. Leaving his friends in San Diego isn't easy, the team was a class act. The time has come to move on and start a career in the big league. Although the bar is set low, John Merrick hopes to improve greatly over his rookie season and start to make his mark in the league. It won't be easy, but that just pushes players to be better. The drive to succeed is high, and the work will be done to improve. Both on a personal level and team level. Toronto will be a fun team to play on. Well lead, great players and a long history, what a perfect team to start a career. I know it won't be easy, but with the commitment from the GM and the roster players, it should be a good learning season with some success. Let the games begin.

Review: Great looking dynamic graphic. Very bold saturation but works with this design. I like the background stocks used and the render really works with the background. Text works. Overall a good product. 9/10

Review: Fun graphic with a unique design. I like the overall look of this sig. The logo looks like it could have been placed a bit better and the render is rather dark. Good job. The colors, background and render work well together in this design. 7.5/10
