  1. The Storm continue to roll and Komarov was a big part of their last two wins with 6 assists in those two games. They have made some strong case as the best team in the VHLM and Komarov continues to play a big role on the team. Komarov continues to show offensive prowess nobody expected from him hes already passed last seasons point total and has more than half the season ahead of him to make that total even higher. Well he has played well offensively but their is still question marks of how his offense will transition into the VHL. Komarov entered the league as a defensive defender and well they are still his strong suit he has added some offensive tools to his arsenal. It will certianly be interesting to see if he can continue go grow offensively and if it will transition into the VHL next year. Stay tuned for the next article as we follow Komarovs career closely
  2. The Oslo team were a Cinderella story they went into the playoffs with little hope of winning a cup however managed to make it all the way to the finals unfortunately to lose to the high powered Lynx. A year later and older the Storm are now looking ready to win the cup with a 26-4 record. Lead by the high flying Klose, power forward graves, and play making center Baumann. On defense we have offensive defender Light, Tough as nails Kowalski, and two way threat Komarov. They have a guy who can fit in every situation. Combine that with the best goalie to play in the VHLM in a long time Mikaelson and you have a recipe for disaster for other teams. They have one goal this year with many of their players ready to jump to the VHL next season they have a small window to capture a cup. This season is that window with so many good players named above they will be tough to beat come playoff time.
  3. Its been awhile since we have heard from dynamic defender Vladamir Komarov which many saw as odd as he was one of the loudest players in the league for the longest time, However hes back now and hes helping lead the Storm to one of the best record in VHLM history. Last season Komarov was known more as a defensive defender and he racked up PIMs, Hits, and blocked shots without complaint. Now hes a man who seems to have done it all hes currently sitting among the top 10 in every major category except plus minus. Hes a man who does it all and his stat line shows it his 41 points is 7th in defense scoring, 42 PIMs ranks 8th, his 52 shots block sits 11th, and his 87 hits ranks 8th. All this well logging big minutes for the Storm who currently sit 1st in the league with a 26-4 record. He wants to become a top end defender in the VHL and well he may not put up big numbers offensively when he makes the jump to the VHL hes proven he can provide a solid all around game. Hes been so busy at the gym that hes not been as loud with the media as he would like to be but he promises to be around as much as possible to answer questions, however his main focus will be helping the Storm keep rolling all the way to the cup which he wants to win after getting so close last year. Hungrier than ever the Storm are showing it so far and with guys like Light, Kowalski, Mikaelson, and Klose the Storm will not be an easy team to beat. They have continue to prove they are among the best however as the rest of the league wont let them just sit back and cruise to wins. No matter how good a team you are you always have to work to be the best you can`t just sit back and hope to win every game with skill. With how much work this team has put in so far this season its no shock that they are where they are right now. When asked about who could stand in their way of victory and a cup Komarov replied out of the european conference i think it will be the Royals, over all though its the Wild they have been a very strong team this season and always on our heels. I`m very confident in the group we have however and i feel we can overcome any challenge that comes our way. We will continue to follow the Storms season as well as Komarov who we feel is a contender for top defender this season and if he can continue this torrent pace we could see his name collect a few awards at the end of the season.
  4. Weve been experiencing hurriacane like wind and a storm that cant be stopped
  5. Just a little bent never broken
  6. Hopefully i can still claim my internet went down and not really up atm using LTE
  7. Last season saw rookie Komarov take the league by storm hitting and blocking every shot in sight, all well putting up some unexpected numbers. However this season has started off as one to forget for Komarov. He is not among the league leaders in anything, his hit total is way down as well as his shots blocked. What has gone wrong for the Russian machine? How can he rebound all these questions are clouded with frustration from the Russian defender. "I don't know what happened however i know if i don't rebound i may seriously reconsider my profession". "I have been letting the team down so far and Im not playing like the player anyone expected me to be". "Its frustrating i feel stronger and better than ever maybe im just thinking too much i dont know but if i play like this all year i may become a bust for Davos and retire". This has Davos fans worried who when they managed to grab him 8th overall were jumping in the streets about the addition of what looked like a franchise defender in the making. Now with thoughts of early retirement and poor play in what many expected to be his dominating junior year has fans very worried.
