  2. 1. I've been chasing waterfalls, it's spring so now is the right time to go visit some falls. 2. I've been working on my shot a little more than usual, other than that i've basically kept up with the same routine I've had my whole career. 3. Damn right there is, this offseason was long. 4. I think making the playoffs is always the expectations set out for this team. Obviously we want to make the finals for a fourth time in a row but i'm going to be realistic here and keep expectations low. 5. Well now that Paul is gone I see myself officially taking over the first line center role with added minutes to my powerplay time. Should be exciting. 6. I don't care about my individual numbers I just want my team and teammates to do well.

  4. Here's some presser questions 1. This is one long ass offseason, what have you been doing in order to keep busy lately? 2. Training Camp is open, what aspect of your game have you been working on the most in practice? 3. How do you feel about being back on the ice for the first time since last season, is there any rust to shake off? 4. What do you see this team being able to accomplish this year? What are the expectations? 5. Where do you see yourself fitting in the lineup this year? 6. What are you own individual expectations for your player?
  5. Well that World Cup was almost just as disappointing as my Continental Cup final appearance. At least with my VHL team we were at least competitive. Team Canada was something else, that was the worst international team i've ever been on we we're just terrible out there and we let Canada down. Like common, we were the worst team this year and we only managed to squeeze out two wins all tournament. That's unacceptable . Canada typically is a hockey powerhouse but this year we couldn't find any chemistry and pair that with a lack of Canadian goaltenders to pick from and you get what you saw this year, a shitty team that fell to Team Western Europe three fucken times. Canada hasn't won a World Cup tournament in how long now? For a Country where hockey is it's national sport they've had quite a losing run in recent years. Canada has to find a way to build themselves a better team next year because their citizens are crying for their country to be relevant again in international play.
  6. 1. Well considering we made the finals three years in a row I think we've done very well when it comes to coming back after a tough loss. I don't think it's going to be any different this year, were just going to have to move on, forget about the finals loss and focus on playing some solid hockey and win some games. It's a new season. 2. Well I mean they both brought so much to this team it's going to be hard to picture the team without them. I wish them both all the best going forward, they both left some pretty big boots to fill. 3. Well I played with Jan Hlozek in the VHLM for a season so i'm looking forward to see where his game is at after all these years. 4. I'm enjoying the break, with the latest finals loss it's nice to stop to kinda reset the brain. 5. Yeah man playing for team Canada. Go team go. I'm following it of course i'm in it. Although we're not too hot right now. 6. I haven't done shit, still trying to figure out where i'm going with my player build.
  7. Awesome thanks for selecting me. Let's go kill it

Thanks for all you guys have done for this franchise wish you two all the best. It was a fun ride while it lasted. End of an era. @Mr_Hatter @Frank Welcome to the team @SpicyGecko
  9. Well fuck, I really thought the third time would be the charm and the Moscow Menace would finally be able to beat the Vancouver Wolves in the Continental Cup finals. Not only did we get our asses beat for a third year in a year but we got swept this time which makes it sting that much more. Still I don't want to take away from the fact that we actually made the finals three years in a row, that by itself is not a easy feat and I feel grateful and lucky to be able to do that with the team that drafted me back in S78. It's been great playing with mostly the same core my whole career but the facts are there will most likely be some changes to that core this offseason due to cap constraints and considering everyone is getting older. It seems like our window has closed and Moscow has the future core to look forward to. Still this has been the best team I've ever been a part of and it's been a pleasure to play with everyone here. Cheers whatever happens this offseason happens.
  10. 1.Well I thought the third time would be the charm but we got our asses beat. Nothing hurts more than a third loss in a row to the same team and to top it, we got swept. Yeah this one stings. 2. Emeritus had played on his head during the playoffs and without him it would be hard to see us make it to the finals. 3. No comment. I mean everything they did was legal so I got nothing to complain about. They did everything at their disposal to in order to win and they accomplished just that. A 3 peat is no easy feat, so there's some credit to give out to the Wolves here. 4. Nope i'll be winging it. 5. It's wonderful to be able to see everyones smiles again i'll admit. The extra sunshine is nice but due to the thaw I spend my shift soaked 24/7 so that's not so fun either. 6. Yes of course.
  11. Third time is the charm? Bring it bitches, game on
  12. The seabasstard. Team: Moscow menace Player: Jeff petry Would like the replace my current fish one lol
  13. 1. I think we're holding our own and we even got the upper hand now. Hopefully we can close out the series today. 2. I'm hoping so, three losses in a row wouldn't leave a good taste in your mouth would it? 3. I'm pleased with his play, he's been pretty clutch these playoffs and i'm hoping he ain't done. 4. I'm growing the good old bushman beard these playoffs. Think Brent Burns. Not shaving till the playoffs are over. 5. Haha Idk i'm not the usual DJ in the locker room. Probably something by Ghost. lol idk 6. Ouuu exciting, go have so fun. I'd like to go see the Victoria Falls one day. A man can dream
  14. 1. Well I didn't really learn anything really but being the last team to make the playoffs this goes to show that just about anything can happen come playoff time. 2. We've made the finals for two years in a row before this, I think we can stand up against just about any team out there due to our playoff experience. 3. We need to score more goals than the opponent, that's what we need to do in order to win. 4. Apparently I had the best score in the entire VHFL, and of course I claimed that sweet 6 tpe. 5. I forgot that was even a thing so no I didn't participate this year. 6. I'm not sure what Wordle is but I'm sure i'll go check it out in the forums soon enough.
  15. Suck it VHL, you are all lesser beings. Being #1 is a complete fluke, I didn't do any homework on my picks. I rushed to make all of my picks and was even late on a few so I didn't expect to do well at all. I barely even kept tabs or even at times remember who was even on my VHFL team. I guess not really caring about the VHFL is the way to go for me from now on
  16. 1. Of course we do. We've worked hard this year and if we don't then all that hard work was for nothing. I don't even want to think about it not happening. 2. Well i'm not the GM so it's not my job to come up with the answer for that one. But all I can assume is that we're probably going to move a core member(s) of the team if we don't make it in. 3,I don't understand it yet, i'll deal with that when the time comes. 4. Nope not at all, I'm more focusing on the now than the future. 5. Well he started off pretty hot but wasn't able to keep that up all year long, should still finish out the year with 100 points but I wish he'd perform better defensively so he can better help his team win. 6. Well the weather was shit it was freezing rain all weekend, but I still managed to go out saturday for a hike/snowshoeing.

  18. 1. Not one bit, were one bad run away from being out of the playoffs, I want a cushion. 2.We've had our struggles this year, but I think as long as we make the playoffs we can make it happen. 3. Theres no particular reason why were not performing at home, but for the fans sakes I hope we can start treating them to more home wins as they deserve it. 4. I'd probably go with Druss Deathwalker, Big guy that can roll over some guys and bring a physical edge. 5. Well I'm always for riding the hot goaltender. 6. Im the last one to complain. I've been doing well and i'm on pace to maybe break the 100 point mark again. But individual stats mean nothing if your team ain't winning consistently.
  19. 1. I don't know how many games we have to go through before we can say this is a real problem? I hope it's some early season jitters, but we really need to get going here. 2. He's slowed down as of late. But maybe a line shuffle is still needed, we need to win some games here and go on a good run. 3. Wait that was his first one? Damn I didn't even realize, guess i'll have to go buy him a 24 pack of beer. 4. Right now welfare cus it doesn't require work. 5. I tried it for the first time last night, didn't get any of them right. 6. I've been good. Had an attempted arson happen two doors down that's kinda eventful.
  20. 1.It's been fun, just been hanging out trying to live life to it's fullest. 2.I don't think I did very well. I didn't really do any homework on my selections and they pretty much were all selected in a rush. Hoping for the best though! 3. Moreau @Frank winning the Sterling Labatte trophy. Also Moscow winning the cup as well. 4. No I haven't. Don't know if I even will. 5. No Forgot about it. 6. Kicking ass and making that red light go on. Seriously though I just want to be back in the finals and that's what I'm looking towards.
