1. How is the off season treating you so far? It's been nice to get some time away. Was a long season and gotta come into the next one fresh 2. How do you prepare for the next season coming up? Lots of rest. Personally have to adjust to a different role and still help the team win. 3. Do you let loose during the off season and eat without restrictions? Pretty much. Sushi, pizzas, and a bunch of other crap this past week. 4. Are you the type to go on a vacation, or spend the time at home on your time off? Try to get a month long vacation abroad each year. Really missing that this year. 5. What are your thoughts on the expansion for this upcoming season? I expect a high scoring year. Good for forwards. 6. How do you rate our chances at success for next season? NY will be fine. This is the year to bring it home and maybe sail off into the sunset.

1. I think it's the most talented team we've had and we're also playing well together, so yes, I'm happy. Esso's done a good job building NY 2. Means a lot to beat the bears. Would be happy to do it on anyone's ice though. 3. I'm a bit more zen. Still like to keep to myself and really focus on the game ahead. 4. Chemistry. Nolan and Foreskin have played well together for a while. Penisson a great rook. Also nice when the top line plays a lot of the tougher minutes. 5. No nerves until it's an elimination game or clinching game. Then, yeah a bunch. 6. Keep games close. 4 out of 7 is the mantra. Don't need to sweep out way through like Riga. Losing games are opportunities to learn

1. Don't necessarily need to streak to get where we want to go. Just gotta win 4 outta 7 every time. 2. Last time NY made the playoffs we faced Seattle and brought it to 7. IIRC we got called for a penalty in the last min, they scored with 30 secs left to tie, and then they won it in OT. That doesn't happen without home ice IMO. 3. Play like it's the last time I may get here again. Be the best player on the ice at all times. 4. Still just trying to condition myself to age well. I want to be just as good next season. 5. My size, getting pucks in and keeping possession 6. Metallica - Seek and Destroy (but biased because am a Sharks fan)

1) I'll take it for the first playoff birth in 3 seasons. Cup would be nice but still lots of competition 2) Good roster assembled. Lots of guys at their peak. Simon T might not hate us 3) figure out how to beat the good teams. Don't worry about the DC, Van, Tor. Focus on lines that match up well against Sea and Cal 4) Having the best year of my career. Bigger challenge is to maintain a similar pace for the next two 5) Blast music. Get drunk. Still sucks the next day but not because of stress. 6) Definitely a better cook. Haven't ordered in a very long time. The wife is still leagues ahead of me though

1. Happy to get a great player. Even happier to take them from the competition. Playoffs! 2. Dude doesn't need advice from us lol. If anything, we all need to play more like him. 3. Get them to trade HHH 4. Give our studs more time. Have 3 really, really good ones. 5. It's been a scary long time since I've read anything but a textbook. A couple of years at least, so can't help you there (unless your into some higher level math) 6. Hard to pick a favourite out of so many greats. Michael Crichton has some really solid reads; Sphere comes to mind.

1. Did you tune into the VHL Draft on Saturday? If so, what was the biggest highlight to you? I did not tune in, but good too see us getting fresh faces in. 2. We were able to draft 3 rookies on Saturday. What advice would you give them as a player who has been around the league for at least a season? Just keep on earning and have a fun year in the M. Probably will see them next season if I'm still with NY. 3. What are your thoughts on the quality of @Esso2264's streams? May have tuned in once I think for a draft a couple seasons back. Not really sure what else he streams. 4. Training Camp officially opens up today. What are you looking forward to working on the most while on ice for the first time this season?
