If you had the opportunity to change positions from/to F, D or G, Would you? Nope, really like my build and I can see myself going my whole career as a RW. What other sim leagues are you involved in? The BESL and SHL, just started over at SHL and been in the BESL for the previous 10 years. I have a different character in every league though. Favorite NHL team and why? Ottawa Senators, been a fan since I was 12 and it's the closest team to my hometown. What do you need to do to improve your game going forward? Probably get my defense up, puck handling and skating so I can contain the puck a little easier going into the offensive zone. Having shorter seasons was brought up recently. What do you think about this? I'd rather not, the other leagues I'm in don't offer as many games and I like having more to check out. Will you be going to Area 51? If you aren't, which members on the VHL do you think would actually go? Not sure, didn't know this was going down, how much are tickets?

FROBER!" *Gert B Frobe comes through for a fist bump* MIC'D "ATTA BOY!" *players pile one by one into the dressing room before the of the 2nd period* MIC'D "We got one, now let's go get another, we are outplaying them and controlling the puck, gotta keep the pace fast and catch them off guard next period" The 2nd period single goes off and skate back on the ice to warm their legs up.. *Busser takes a shot at Bruce Grimaldi* MIC'D "Keep up the good work bud" MIC'D "Yeah I know, if they want to continue to crash the net I'll tell Frobe to set camp" After a rough shift the 1st line goes off and the 2nd line comes on for their shift.. *Busser situates and attempts to find a warm spot on the bench* *Conners breaks into the zone.. gets a wrist shot off and GOAL!* MIC'D "Damn, didn't even have time to watch that play" MIC'D "Oh did it go Griffin?" The 3rd period starts, both teams play competitively and the score stays 2-0 until.. *5 minutes is left in the game, Chad Gilbert wins the draw notices a free Busser on the right side* MIC'D "Up up up!" *heavy breathing* *Gilbert rockets the puck up the ice* He retrieves the puck and skates past the defenders.. *Busser dangles it and shoots the puck past Conklin!* MIC"D "Wooooohooooooo! What have you enjoyed most about this league? How much our team has grown since the beginning, started out wanting to join a weaker team to collect more points but ended up really enjoying my teammates and every time we get a win the locker room is turned up to full volume. What could we improve to make your experience better? Nothing, we just gotta continue doing what we do best and get ourselves to the highest position possible in the standings, we have the jam.. just need to keep adding peanut butter. If you had to choose 1 player that has helped us the most who would you choose? I'm picking two, our assistant GM has been super active and his help is appreciated. Bruce Grimaldi, kid just keep getting better.. if we didn't have him between the iron we wouldn't be sitting in 7th place. What is 1 thing that you want the GM's to do? Nothing, our GMs are smart enough to make their own decisions and I trust whatever moves they decide to make. A constant debate on VHL is team forum activity and discord activity, its believed new players like discord better and don't use the site as often, is this true? Yes and no, If I was going to check for updates I'd go on Discord and if I wanted to check out my player I'd go on the forums. Depends on the day, could be updating or just checking out how the rest of the prospects/teams are doing. When you get drafted into the VHL what team do you want to go too? Vancouver, I really like their logo and love the location as well, if I could get picked by them.. life made. If not, I'm down to join any team that is willing to give me ice-time in the future.

San Diego Marlins | Prospect Update The Marlins have been hot of late and their young roster has been earning and scoring their way to victory, we are going to take a closer look at how well some of the San Diego Marlins rookies have been doing. Each week we are going to give a run down of a different prospects so stay tuned for future installments, today we are going to look at the highest TPE earners. D | Gert B Frobe | GP: 39 G: 4 A: 11 P: 15 +/-: -8 PIM: 60 | Ranked: 24th +1 (10th in Defenders) | The highest TPE earner and most active has been defender Gert B Frobe, racking in total of 139 TPE halfway through the season. Frobe leads the team in many categories, checking, fighting, discipline, strength, defense and leadership, definitely one of the reasons the Marlins have been so motivated to win, not only does he drop the gloves but his defensive ability has been able to help his goaltender have enough time to recover and make an easy save, he has a total of 89 hits and 67 shot blocks. His shooting hasn't been the best but 1 of his 4 goals scored was a game winner. RW | Ryan Busser | GP: 39 G: 13 A: 22 P: 35 +/-: -10 PIM: 8 | Ranked: 27th +1 (6th in Right Wings) | Captain Ryan Busser has been working his way up the draft rankings steadily each week, earning 129 TPE along the way and has the best offensive ability out of any other Marlins prospects so far, helping propel his team to a playoff spot with a team leading 3 game winning goals.Trade acquisition Milan Griffin and Busser's chemistry makes them a deadly combo and their highlights keep getting better the more they play together. A couple attributes scouts will be looking at will be his crisp passing and should make him a definite target at this years draft, another major part of his game is his stick handling and he is the first person to take the shot in the shootout. C | Chad Gilbert | GP: 35 G: 2 A: 7 P: 9 +/-: -4 PIM: 6 | Ranked: 31st +2 (3rd in Centers) | Two things that would describe Chad Gilbert's game would be consistent and effective and he has put his 124 TPE to good use. He is by far the best faceoff man on the team and in the league, taking important draws to give his team possession and his ability to retrieve the puck in the corner pairs with it, making a deadly combination. He hasn't been scoring as many goals as he would have liked but that doesn't mean his shots on net aren't resulting in great chances for his teammates. Gilbert is very important to his team and plays a lot of minutes, playing a permanent role on both special team units and taking important faceoffs late in games.
