Feels good, I mostly have walked into a great situation, but feels good to be the number 1 seed. 2) If I remember the playoff format correctly, we are expected to play Philly (unless they win 2 and SDM loses both). Do you think we'll advance? I think we will do great against whoever we play against in the first round. After that it gets more exciting. 3) Juan Ceson (@dylanjj37) has been rumored to have been a part of the Jeid Rohnson family photos. Do you think this means Ceson will propose soon? Um oh yeah for sure, I definitely see that happening. Any minute now. 4) The NHL season started last night. How excited are you for hockey to be back? It's good, I was a bit checked out last season, but I think I will try to watch more games this season. 5) Who do you expect to win the Hart? Why? Probably McDavid, he's an incredible player on a team that is strong enough to make a run. 6) What is your Stanley Cup Finals matchup? Who do you have winning? 1) We have dropped to 2nd place behind Ottawa in the overall standings, but still hold firm in our Conference standings. Do you think we can overcome Ottawa and take the #1 seed again? Absolutely and we already have. This team looks really good and I think we have a legit chance to get the team a three-peat. 2) Antoine Barksdale ( @CrookedAnt) has a comfortable lead in points for the Aces. Do you think he catches up to the current points leader in the league, Oli McGee? I don't think so, there is so much talent on the Aces that the points get spread around. 3) Juan Ceson ( @dylanjj37) has formed an IKEA bot army, according to @animal74's account of our interaction with the captain over the weekend. Do you think Ceson rebuilds the army and attempts to take over Vegas? I've been advised by my legal council to not comment on potential coups. 4) Viktor Hasek ( @StackThePads) has started off at 9-0-0 in his first season with the Aces as our backup. Do you think he keeps up this streak? I think so, he's playing well and has a great team around him. I think the coaching staff has been smart about what games they have played him in. 5) With the announcement that the JST has been brought back, are you excited to participate? Are you nervous? I honestly don't know much about JST. If I'm in it cool, otherwise no worries. 6) Are you ready for the NHL season to begin? How do you think your team will do to begin? I was pretty tuned out of hockey last season, despite my team doing well and winning the cup. I hope the Avs do well but I never really follow off-season stuff to much.

In just a few days the trade deadline will be upon us and it will be time to hit the retire button button and let Henri sail off into the sunset. I’ve had a lot of fun with Henri but am excited to get the next player started. I will be going back to Defense for my next player. It will be interesting going back to defense after living that forward life. I will miss the better scoring and more hits I was getting as a power forward. I will personally be interested in seeing how much TPE my next player ends up with. Unless it gets nerfed, the player will have the 5 TPE pension for their entire career. Also trivia is back, which was absent during part of Henri’s time. I’m not sure how much Fantasy TPE I earned but with the step up in difficulty it seems like I will most likely be getting less of that going forward. Who is my next player, you may or may not be asking yourself, depending on how much you care. Well I can’t give everything away but they are an American, and they are a lesser known sibling to a famous family. like 203 words or something, that's what it was at one point but maybe I added another sentence I forget.

1). Tis the beginning of halloween season - what was the last costume you wore? I have no idea, I think i did a simple pirate costume in college at one point, several years ago. 2). Do you think New York will buy or sell this trade deadline? Selling would probably be better in the long term but not sure if there is much cap space out there to move people to. 3). Should there be a cap on how many players come from a specific country in the VHL? I don't think so, the international tournaments are a secondary thing imo, and that's the only time a player's country of origin matters. 4). Why don't we wait for the new season's portal to come out before doing a VHFL draft? It already takes so long, can't delaying it further is just going to push more groups into the season. 5). If water wasn't blue, which color would you want it to be? Magenta, more things should be magenta. 6). Has @JardyB10 mentioned you in any of his nodesodes this season? WHY NOT Not this season, I think last season I was mentioned once. Why is that? Probably because I do very little that could be mentioned.

1). Today New York opens the newspaper to find out they are on a 4-game winning streak. Is this the turn the team was looking for? I'm not sure, the team still seems to be struggling. Feels like our players don't have the best chemistry. 2). Who is the team's LEAST likely player to recreate as a goalie? I am unlikely to recreate as goalie, since it seems like goalies need a lot of im not a max earner. 3). Will @nurx get to 50 points? Well, it's not looking good, that's for sure. 4). If you posted in another team's press conference, shame on you, but who would it NOT be? Seattle, got bad blood there from my pervious player playing on Vancouver. 5). Do you ever read SHT (shots) as shits? @JardyB10 No, i have a big brain and know that SHT means shots. 6). Truly or Whiteclaw? I've never had Whiteclaw so I will go with Truly, but I'm not a huge fan of Truly either.

Dil learning that supervisors get credit for their underlings work

Henri le Massif finds himself in his last season as a professional Victory Hockey League player. He has a few milestones he would like to achieve in his swan song season. Milestone1: 200 regular season goals. This should be a slam dunk. As of this writing he only needs 8 more goals to hit this milestone. Milestone 2: 200 regular season assists. Again this should be quite easy for the Frenchman. Currently he needs 5 assists to reach this number. Milestone 3: 400 regular season points. Once more should definitely happen. Being just 13 points shy with 50 games left in the season. Milestone 4: 2000 hits. This one should happen. Henri needs to reach 150 hits this season to reach 2000. Currently on pace to get around 190 hits. None of these are numbers that are going to blow people away but they are just nice numbers to hit. Milestone 5: Make the playoffs in every season. This one is at the moment looking dicey. Henri has made every playoffs since he came into the VHLM. Henri spent 2 full seasons in the VHLM plus a partial season, joining Mexico at the trade deadline. In the VHL he made it every season with LA and Moscow. I’m sure it’s been done before but it would be neat to achieve this. You can argue right place, right time for Moscow but he helped a Stars team make the post season every year he was there. Additionally Moscow had it’s 2 best regular seasons point totals ever with Henri on the team. If New York can make it, one might start to wonder if there is an intangible that he brings to a team that helps take the team to a higher level. 292 words

1). I missed the last few sims and am too lazy to play; how did I do? Not great to be honest, and not leading us to many victories, shake my dang head. 2). During my trip I hiked a bunch over 3 days; what has been your favorite hike of all time? I have not done much hiking, I guess I probably did a little bit at a state park near where I grew up. We went there several times for school. 3). Looking back, would you have purchased the original xbox or playstation? I had the original xbox and liked it a lot. I didn't have an original playstation, but if I could go back I would definitely get one. 4). Is North American conference playing out how you thought it would so far? Not quite, I thought Vancouver would be crushing everyone, and I thought we would be a better than we are. 5). What's up with Helsinki? They used forbidden techniques to get a hot start, but have fallen back down since then. 6). Which commissioner in the three leagues would you LEAST want to travel with? Any of them, I hate travel, I don't need to annoy anyone else.

People talk about the VHLE specifically being a problem but I haven't seen anyone do any analysis on if we have a higher percentage of players dropping off since the E compared to before the E. People have always have to go from 200-400 TPE. Have we always had a falloff at that point? Would kind of make sense if we had, people try out this new thing might get to this point and decide they don't like it. I don't know one way or another but would be interesting to see.

I'm assuming they will go harder on regression for skaters because based on my experience and comments from others it's not doing much now, compared to how much it used to do. I am assuming that they want it to be meaningful like it used to be. But I could absolutely be wrong. There could be other changes too, I'm not suggesting it's happening tomorrow or before any changes are made to goalies, just that it will happen.

I want to niitpick one thing here. You are saying active members of the community, but activity <> tasks that award TPE. I would say I'm decently active in discord (less so in the main discord than i used to be, but active in LRs and such), but that doesn't give me TPE, but I would argue I'm an active member of the community. Also we have yet to see any regression changes since Hybrid started. I would imagine a more aggressive regression for skaters would impact the relative strengths of people earning different amounts. I have no idea if that is planned for some point but I imagine it's at least being considered.

Big agree on the boom or bust cycle of the M being a problem.

1). How much do you HATE the VHFL format? I wouldn't say I hate it but I don't participate in VHFL for a variety of reasons but one of them being I would probably get DQ every time. 2). On a scale of 1-12 (12 being the most, 1 being the least), what would you rate the month of April? I will give April like a solid 10. It's generally not cold and snowy but it's also not crazy hot. 3). Who do you think is an under the radar player on New York that no one is talking about as a prediction award recipient? Not sure, but maybe Kennedy as the best person between the pipes. 4). What ring tone do you use on your personal cell phone? I probably have whatever the default is on my Pixel. I just leave my phone on vibrate at all times. 5). Who do you think will be last in the blood bath that is the North American conference? I think LA will bring up the rear. Nothing against them, they have a bright future ahead of them but are still young and fairly inexperienced. 6). Pringles? I like pringles but never buy them. feel like there are always so many broken ones in their can.
