  1. review: I like your style, it's distinctive and puts you apart from everyone else, at least from media spots I've read. I do enjoy the bigger text size as well as using bold and underlines. Personally not a fan of the smaller text for the bulk of the MS but that's a small problem and I'm sure most don't mind. Seeing as your first gen player I do enjoy hearing your thoughts on your own player and I totally get not being sure if 55 points is good or not, my player Ori who is a center had 51 points in his second season so I'd say 55 points is just find for you second season despite the deference in position. I do like your writing style and you got a bit of humor in there which is nice. I do think some people jump on the "it's a curse" train a little to quick though. Overall 9/10
  2. review: This is a nice topic piece for what Warsaw is going through, and I like how you've covered it. Rumors always spread and with a GM stepping down it puts a spotlight on what the new GM will want to do, do a rebuild or try to keep the old group together? A new look or something similar to the last season? The main problem comes from not spacing it out leading it to be a wall of text and can make it difficult to keep your position. It should have been divided into three paragraphs without a doubt. The lack of a picture or fancy text also makes it feel very flat. I'll give it a 5.5/10.
  3. yo this is really high quality, I like it! 1. It's a toss up between going to check on him or fighting the guy who hit him, even if it was a clean hit. 2. I'm sure Toronto has had a goalie be somewhere in the .930%, I know Hexy's best was a .920%. 3. The Peace award. 4. It does feel that way doesn't it? It's been a rough time in Toronto for a while, even though there have been some better seasons in there. 5. I'd say Montreal, I think they have some high skilled players that are still developing. 6. I almost forgot about this, I didn't believe it myself, just came out of the blue which I guess most things like this do.
  4. It's the last off-season Ori will experience as a player of the VHL, while Seattle made it to the playoffs they were eliminated in the play-in round, a far cry for a team that was in the finals last year. The Seattle Bears started the season off strong too, at points leading the VHL in points or at least as the best team in the North America Conference. However the second half of the season proved to be rather difficult for the team as they dropped in the standings, finishing one point behind the D.C Dragons and putting themselves in the play-in round. Some took Seattle to win that round thanks to the experience the team has but they weren't able to get it done. Now Jonathan Ori, a player heading into his final season as a VHL player, is uncertain where he'll be playing it. His contract with Seattle was only for two seasons and he hasn't been offered a third with the team. "Our conversations haven't really gone anywhere, to be fair to Bana two important players on the team are retiring, and they won't be easy to replace. He's thinking a lot about the future of the team and as he's done this for about 40 seasons I know he's wants to stay competitive. These are just the hard choices you have t make a general manager. He's trying to decide if there's a role I fit in for the team for my final season or if it's better I'm somewhere else. It's not pretty either way you cut it, I don't like sitting here unsure where I'll be playing." A quote from Ori during an interview after they were beaten in the play-in round. In the meantime Ori has emptied out his locker and headed back home, which thanks to playing in Seattle isn't a fair trip to Canada British Columbia. It's the one of the thing he's really enjoyed about playing in Seattle, he's very close to home. He spent time cooking with his mother and playing games with his siblings. More recently as round two is officially underway in the playoffs, Ori was spotted at the second game of the series between the Dragons and Pheonix, he wasn't wearing a jersey of either team. When asked during an intermission in the match why he was there he simply replied "I'm just here to enjoy some great hockey, that's all." Before heading off back to his seat. Jonathan Ori is still a very good player, he's been above a point per game for five seasons and recently for the first time in a few seasons, he saw his point totals be higher than his previous season. He had been on a bit of a down swing with his season end point totals only going down leading some to under if he had already peaked. It's likely he doesn't match his 92 point season in season 82, at least not in the VHL with only one season left, not to mention the rule changes that brought scoring down, but he still could score about 80 points which many teams would still be happy to have on their roster. 5. So this is one of those articles where I couldn't figure out what to talk about, what I originally planned to talk about is gonna be used for a media spot instead. So I just decided why not look at points and see where Ori finished in Season 85? And maybe some of the previous seasons to. For this season Ori ended in a four way point tie with 81, 25 goals and 56 assists. The other players tied with him are Luc Tessier with 35 goals 46 assists, Leandro Goncalves with 33 goals and 48 assists, and finally Harn Markinson with 23 goals and 58 assists. That's a tie between 25th to 28th for the record with Ori being rated at 26th. On the Assists board Ori is tied for 16/15th with Hulk Hogan 2, again both of them at 56. Last season Ori finished in a tie at 33rd/34th with Scotty Sundin at 76 points. His 58 assists was again tied for 15th/16th, this time with Sergey Preobrazhensky. Season 83 Ori was again in a four way tie with 83 points, one of the players being a familiar tied in Luc Tessier, the other two players were Hari Singh Nalwa and Baby Bob. Ori was ranked 24th. Ori's 63 assists put him in a tied for 10/11th with 122 point player Saku Kotkakoivu. I'll stop there as going further back your getting into the crazy high scoring seasons, before the changes. So Ori has usually been right around top 25 in points and top 15 in assists. Anyway, that's all I got to say. Ciao for now. (word count 269)
  6. review: This is a fairly good breakdown but it does lack more depth, which isn't entirely bad on it's own, it does make it a more digestible read. I'm glad you've spaced it out but I feel you were a little gun happy with it? I just think some of the paragraphs you could have combined, not the worst thing and it's better than it looking like a wall of text. I don't think it would have hurt to included a bit more in the stats aspect to add a bit more meat. It lacks a bit in the visual department as well, I think a picture would have gone a long way for it as well using some bold or italics text, or a different font size. Overall really good though, 7.5/10
  7. 1. I'd go with an indefinite amount of invisible needles than the tarantula, I can wear shoes for the needle but god knows where that spider is at. 2. Probably Iron man, and ya I think I would switch places with them XD 3. Something cheesy like Sea Dragon lol 4. oh good question, probably Terminator 2 because that twist is so good! 5. I'd like to know if I make any new friends that I form a really deep bond with, they can be life changing! 6. Maple Syrup, because I'm Canadian!
  8. Review: I enjoyed seeing your predictions for each series and reading what you had to say but it does fall a little flat. To start off with the good I do like that you took the time to put in the team logos, use color coding, different font sizes and bold. It shows that effort did go into this and visually it makes it more fun to read. However the actual meat of the subject at hand is lacking. I know you mention which teams you think has the better blue line or goaltender but it wouldn't hurt to dig up some stats to back up your thoughts, you don't have get to have much, just compare points or shots blocked from the blue line for instance. You did mention the save percentages for Sparks and Guy but that's the only instance of it, I would like to see something like this for each series. Finally the writing itself is understandable but pretty basic, I'm not a writing major or anything but you can try to mix up a little more and use different words with the same meaning, makes it a more enjoyable read. Overall 6.5/10
  9. Hello readers and welcome back to the final report for season 85! It's been one heck of a ride and an interesting one for the Seattle Bears. The team started off very strong and at points were the top team in the NA conference but fell down to fourth by the end of the season, being one point behind the D.C Dragons. Ori managed to bounce back strongly from a poor quarter, almost doubling the points he earned from quarter three. Ori only failed to score in four games during the 18 game span but had seven multi point games including five with three or more points. He ended up scoring 7 goals and 18 assists for 25 points. His season totals are 25 goals which ties a career high, 56 assists for 81 points. This does reverse the downward trend Ori had been on season over season, finally jumping back up in points. For milestones Ori has passed 500 games played and 350 career assists. Finally for faceoffs he took 705 and won 411 of them for a 58.3% winning percentage. For the season total he took 3,014 faceoffs and won 1,793 of them for a 59.45% winning percentage. It was a strong outing for Ori and we'll see what season 86 has in store for Ori, which team that will be for is up in the air as Ori currently isn't under contract for next season for the Bears. 10. 1. Well I would say defense but.... doesn't matter anymore. 2. I would like to say a player but it is really early, I do feel Sigard could have had a chance at it if we went further. 3. Moscow Menace because it's the Moscow Menace. 4. Welp I did because of the history of the team, but we're already out sadly. 5. I've never been one to come up with lines personally, I'm really not sure honestly, kinda feels like other teams have just figured us out. 6. Nope lol
  11. review: A great but small shout out to a great player. 700 points is nothing to scuff at and it's cool to see it getting some attention. I think the media spot is sectioned really well and each bit is an easy read. On one hand naming some more accomplishments would have been fine but keeping it straight and to the point is appreciated to. I like the bit about the bobble heads and video tribute being played for him in the last regular season home game. I think a picture could have been used here, one of fans cheering on a player or something of that sort. Could have spiced it up with some use of bold or italics to make it a bit more appealing visually but in the end I greatly appreciate this post. 7.5/10
  12. 36. Wins for a goalie, that'd be epic. 37. Probably passing cause I'm weird, but I like setting up plays. 38. Do it, it'd be cool! 39. Well sadly we have fallen on some hard times but we should finish top three in my opinion at least. 40. I mean there is, but I won't be naming them, I've played with them twice though. 41. Gabriel McAllister, heck of a player.
  13. Hello all, first for anyone that clicked on this earlier and saw basically nothing, my apology. I clicked on a key combination that posted it when I was just starting it and thought it was best to just change it to say it was an accident instead of leaving a garbled mess. Anyway onto the actual post itself, with the S70's power rankings all finished I thought it was a good time to post the hard numbers, the stats and records. So yes this post is mostly just a stat dump but I thought of one other thing that would be worth looking into, and that's which conference was better during the decade, I'll talk about about that at the bottom of this post. S70's power rankings | Victory Cup winner +15 points | Top 3 in GF/GA and GD +5 points | points in brackets mean S73-S79 playoffs: 15 points for winning first round, 20 for winning second round, 35 points for winning the cup legend: VC-Victory cup | GF-Goals for | GA-Goals against | GD-Goal differential | SF-Semi finals | CF-cup finals | CC-Continental cup The numbers in brackets next to their names is a combination of how many times they were top three in goals for, against or differential, it was something I added in later so it's a little messy. Moscow Menace (11) Vancouver Wolves (11) Calgary Wranglers (10) Riga Reign (5) S70:50-17-5 GF/GD/VC/CC 200P S70:46-20-6 GF/GA/GD 113P S70:41-24-7 CF 124P S70:39-26-7 SF 100P S71:37-27-8 GF/GD/CF 127P S71:44-22-6 GA/GD/VC/SF 134P S71:42-28-2 GF 91P S71:34-29-9 SF 92P S72:35-29-8 GA/SF 98P S72:32-35-5 69P S72:49-16-7 GF/GA/GD/VC/CF 170P S72:39-25-8 GF/GD/CC 166P S73:40-23-9 GA 94P S73:38-26-8 84P S73:44-22-6 GA/GD/SF 119P S73:46-23-3 GF/GD/SF 120P S74:51-19-2 GF/GA/GD/VC 134P S74:43-20-9 GF/GD/CC 175P S74:36-30-6 GA 83P S74:37-24-11 85P S75:39-27-6 SF 99P S75:46-22-4 GF/GD 106P S75:45-17-10 GA/GD/VC 125P S75:29-38-5 63P S76:53-13-6 GA/GD/VC/SF 152P S76:43-20-9 GF/SF 115P S76:31-33-8 70P S76:32-34-6 70P S77:28-38-6 62P S77:35-28-9 GF 84P S77:31-34-7 69P S77:29-35-8 66P S78:34-35-3 71P S78:23-42-7 53P S78:37-29-6 80P S78:32-28-12 76P S79:23-40-9 55P S79:35-31-6 76P S79:41-26-5 GA 92P S79:37-30-5 GA 84P T:390-268-62 842+250=1092P (667P) 385-266-69 839+170=1009P (693P) 397-259-64 858+160=1018P (633P) 354-292-74 782+140=922P (564) D.C. We can see that North Americas was generally the better conference during the regular season not that Europe was to far behind. The bonus points are interesting though, Europe earned more which would indicate more dominating seasons when they won. Ultimately North America was the better conference was it was a close race. Hope you all enjoyed this post and see ya'll next time! (word count 1050)
  14. Greeting readers and welcome to our third quarterly report, a little late we know but it is here. Ori is back up for a look and this 18 game span proved to be a rough one. Ori entered the quarter on a four game point streak and would extend that to nine games, scoring 12 points in 9 games, he was well ahead of a point per game, unfortunately after this hot streak he went on a cold streak and failed to score any points in his next six games. This brought him more in line with his normal point to game ratio, usually sitting about four points ahead of games played. Ori would score five points in his next three games before going cold for another two, he'd score one more point in the second last game and net zero in the final game of the quarter. In total he scored 13 points, 6 goals and 7 assists. In the faceoff dot Ori took 741 and won 449 of them for a 60.59 winning percentage. The load has slowly been lightened in the faceoff dot for Ori has he's taken less each quarter and he seems for the most part to be doing better, we'll see if he's above 60 percent in the final quarter as well, which isn't far away at this point. See you next time readers! (word count 230)
  15. In a series I recently finished up I went over every regular season record of every team of the S70's, and the Seattle Bears easily beat every other team for the best record. Being the only team with over 400 wins, less than 250 regulation losses, making it to the finals 5 times, being top 3 in goals for, against, or differential a combined 13 times, seven 40+ win seasons, won at least half their games every season, and won the Continental cup the most times during the decade, bringing it home three times. Bana has been a GM for over 35 seasons and his experience showed for all of this decade. Bana has repeatedly shown he knows not just how to make a good regular season roster, but a good playoff roster, the Bears only won the Victory Cup once during the decade and never had a 50+ win season but they reached the finals five times and made the playoffs every season. It shows a level of knowledge only a veteran GM of his caliber would have. Seattle's overall regular season record is 426-248-56, well and above second place and their playoff record stands out as well of course, at 76-44, which think about it, that means they played 120 playoff games during the S70's. Of course it all isn't about just the stats and numbers, Bana is a GM active in his locker room and who checks in on his players regularly and treats everyone fairly, this helps create a very welcoming atmosphere that new players can feel right at home with as soon as they join. You feel cared for and it's understood the time you put in to work on getting better and can help rejuvenate careers. of course while being able to connect with your players and understand their problems is important Bana is still a GM at the end of the day and becoming to connected with players can easily drag a franchise down, you gotta always have an eye for the future and know when to move on from a player. It can no doubt create hard feelings but it part of the job as a GM, and to have the level of success the Bears have had you have to constantly be balancing with newer players and veterans on the roster. You may have to move on from a prospect if they aren't developing right even if they are a nice guy, and you may have to move out a veteran who wishes to play their final season with the team. It's not an easy job and Bana had managed to keep that balance while also having a great eye for drafting. I have at times thought about getting into the general managing role, trying it out for myself but I've come to realize I just wouldn't have the time for it, to many other hobbies and work makes it hard to find the time, not to mention just needing breaks, this is another last day media spot after all. But if I did get into the GM role Bana would be an excellent role model and one to study, one to look up to. I don't know if I can say he's my favorite from who I've spent time with, and it's not really fair considering I've only played about one and a half seasons for him. But he's another I can add to the list of great GM's I've gotten to play under, and it was a pleasure to have a chance to join the team. Only question now is.... when does Bana hang 'em up? When does he retire? And will anyone ever be able to match him? Only time will tell. (word count 624)
  16. Review for my fellow teammate: This is a well crafted Media spot for the theme week, some could recounting of past events and mentioning many of the season they won it all. The writing is well paced and spaced. While I would appreciated a bit more in the numbers department I do like that you mention Bana's locker room presence and how well he manages it in keeping a friendly atmosphere. I feel this post just lacks a bit of spice, just a bit of fancy text or a picture/image to add a bit more visual taste. Overall it's still a very good post. 8.5/10
  17. In a recent interview with former VHL player and Toronto Legion alumni Jaxx Hextall, he was asked various questions such as what keeps up his passion for playing hockey, what he plans on doing after his playing career and if he still checks in with his rivals (spoiler alert he still does). However the most interesting question he was asked was if he could return to the VHL, would he? As everyone knows there's a limit on how many seasons you can play in the VHL, currently it's nine but back when Jaxx Hextall played it was eight, and due to the situation Toronto was in back in season 70, Hexy stayed down in the VHLM for his first season. Jaxx's answer was the usual and passionate yes, he hasn't lost any love for the game and even now approaching his mid 30's he's still like a kid with how much he enjoys playing hockey. The more interesting bit though was him joking that he had a lawyer looking for loopholes to get him back in the VHL at some point. Of course we aren't experts on the rules of the VHL for a player trying to return, most play seven or eight seasons then move on to the NHL or another league that doesn't have a season limit, some retire it right away and head into play by play or something else hockey related. Hexy has been out of the league for eight years now and we'll have to wait to see what happens with his career in the NHL, he's still got five more years on his contract. (word count 270)
  18. 1. Why does it have to be someone else? my player was on a big cold streak so I tag myself! 2. Just feels like we're not playing as a team, just need a shake up or ride it out till we find our mojo again. 3. (33) Probably D.C, just feels like what's gonna happen.
  19. 1. The rough start for the Wolves, it was the Wolves right? I've forgotten but know some team had a rough start. 2. Keeps a good atmosphere in the locker room, is active and treats every player fairly. 3. Rayzor, just for being such a nice and friendly guy, not to mention bringing me into a team for my first full season and was winning the cup!
  20. Another quarter another report, welcome back readers and we are once again to report on Ori's progress through the season. We are also at the halfway point of the season so we can a rough idea of what pace he is on. Ori had six multi point games and only failed to score in five games. In game 23 he had a massive game scoring two goals and two assists for four points, although his faceoff game was a little off only winning 11 of 33. in total he scored 8 goals and 14 assists for 22 points, doubling his goal production from the first quarter has put him at 12 goals, 30 assists for 42 points at the halfway mark of the season. This is the best goal pace he's been on for a while, he should be back above 20 goals and could possibly match his best of 25 goals. Assist wise he's looking to get back over 60 after getting 58 the season prior, if everything keeps going well he should finish in the 80 point range, close to the 83 points he had in S83. In the faceoff aspect of his game he did better than the first quarter, while he took 40 less overall in the second quarter he nearly match how many he won from the first quarter with 466, just one shy of the 467 he had. This puts him a 60.99% winning percentage. Well that's a wrap and we'll see you back soon after quarter three! (word count 254)
  21. Greetings readers!! And welcome to the actual finale of this series, we just have two teams left to look at and they are the best of the best, there is no denying the impact these teams had during the decade, these two teams each have multiple cup finals appearances, 390 plus regular season wins, and were top three in goal categories six different seasons. It may be only two teams but there's a lot to cover with them, without further delay, let's talk about these two teams! Moscow Menace Record: 390-268-62 Rank: 2nd with 1092 points Goals for: x3 Conference finals: x3 Goals against: x4 Cup finals: x1 Goal differential: x4 Continental Cup: x1 Victory Cup: x3 Points: 842+250 Expansion ranking: 7th with 667 points Our runner up is the Moscow Menace, and I have to be honest I thought they won more than one cup during the decade? I joined the VHL in S69 and the first few seasons of the S70's I swear I remember them winning more cups but perhaps it's the Victory Cups I remember and not the Continental Cup. Regardless this was a team to be feared for most of the decade, their the only team with multiple 50 win seasons and they brought home the Victory Cup a record three times during the ten year span. As has been a trend for the last few teams I've covered, the Moscow Menace started off the S70's strong going 50-17-5, finishing top three in goals for and differential, and capturing both the Victory Cup and Continental Cup. They swept the Phantoms in the first round, schooled Riga 4-1 and downed the Wranglers in six games. They are the only other team besides Malmo to secure 200 points in a season, and they didn't even earn all the bonus points as they weren't top three in goals against. That is how you start off a new decade though and it looked like Moscow would have more cup wins in them. They're record would take a large drop as they finished 37-27-8 but were still top three in the previously mentioned goal categories, and would go to the finals for a second year in a row, dropping the Nighthawks in four, beating Riga in six before the Bears stopped them 4-1. S72 they would take a smaller drop this time around, finishing 35-29-8, they were top three in goals against this time and beat the Titans in the first round 4-2 before Riga got revenge for the previous two seasons and swept them. Entering S73 saw a jump back up in their record, 40-23-9 and again finished top three in goals against but failed to win a round in the playoffs this season. Entering S74 Moscow seemed to be on the downswing more than the up swing but that would change as they posted their second best record of 51-19-2, finishing top three in all goal categories and bringing home the Victory Cup a second time. The team failed to win a round in the post season however making that regular season performance seem moot. Again Moscow would see another big drop off in their record after a 50 plus win season, going 39-27-6 and beating the Titans in the first round in a close seven game series before the Nighthawks beat them in six in the next round. Regular season wise Moscow rebounded to have the best overall record of the S70's, posting a 53-13-6 record which narrowly beats out Malmo's 53-19 record in S79 mentioned a few parts back. Being top three in goals against and differential plus they made it out of the first round beating the Phantoms in a hard fought seven game series before the Predators did away with them in seven. After this it seemed like Moscow and used up all its luck and prospect pool as they dropped like a rock. They dropped to a record of 28-38-6 for just 62 points which was just one more point than the Dragons who were dead last. They had a small bounce back in S78 getting up to 34-35-3 before falling to a new low in the last season of the decade, 23-40-9 for 55 points. Moscow was no longer a menace in the league. Despite it being their lowest record of the ten year span they were only third last as Helsinki and Toronto finished with 48 and 47 points respectively. Much like Vancouver and Calgary, Moscow loses a lot points looking at the expansion ranking, they lose over 300 points which really stings, combine that with their last three seasons being rough and they drop five spots, it's still top ten though so nothing to be too ashamed of though. Seattle Bears Record: 426-248-56 Rank: 1st with 1283 points Goals for: x5 Conference finals: x1 Goals against: x2 Cup finals: x2 Goal differential: x6 Continental Cup: x3 Victory Cup: x1 Points: 908+375 Expansion ranking: 1st with 903 points This really should be of no surprise to anyone that was around for most of the S70's, Seattle has been one of the most consistent teams for decades at this point and their dominance in the S70's is a perfect example of this. Before we even start looking through each season lets note some achievements, they have 1283 points which is 191 points ahead of second place, 375 bonus points which is 125 more than what Moscow earned, they were top three in goal categories 13 times, they are the only team to earn 400 plus wins in the regular season which beats out the second place regular season team the Calgary Wranglers by 29 wins, they made it to the finals five times in the S70's and won it three times, their 903 points in the expansion ranking is 87 more than the second place Predators who are already 53 points ahead of third place, they had seven 40+ win seasons and won at least half their games every season. That alone should speak volumes to how good Seattle was, most teams experienced a major dip at some point during the decade, needing to rebuild or re tool, even as impressive as Calgary was during the regular season with six 40 win seasons and never dropping below 31 wins, Seattle trumps that with seven 40 win seasons and never going below 36 wins meaning every season they won at least half their games. Now that I'm done gawking at Seattle's ridiculous numbers let's cover each season so we can end this series. For a change of pace Seattle's first season of the decade was decent, not super strong like the last three teams I've talked about, going 37-28-7 and they would beat the Wolves in the first round 4-1 before being taken out by the Wranglers in six. Season 71 really is where Seattle began their march to conquer the league this decade, going 43-23-6, being top three in goals for and differential and taking home the Continental Cup. The Bears slayed the Dragon in seven games, dominated the Wolves 4-1 and showed now fear against the Menace winning in five. Season 72 would be a regular season improvement going 47-22-3 and finishing top three in all goal categories, post season wise it was a step back as they didn't even win a round. Seattle showed they still had it next season however as they had their best record of the S70's, posting a 49-18-5 record and winning their only Victory Cup of the decade. On their way to winning a second Cup they again slayed the Dragons 4-2, stopped the Wranglers in seven, and beat the Titans in six. Season 74 saw them drop by eight wins, going down to a record of 41-24-7 and finishing top three in goal differential, they had no luck in the postseason though. Season 75 and 76 was a time for the Bears to hibernate, to recharge. They still had very respectable records of 39-25-8 and 36-29-7, the latter being the lowest they ever got, that record still had them at eighth in the league. S77 the Bears came out of hibernation and got back over 40 wins, earning a record of 41-28-3 and while they weren't top three in any goal category they went on to capture their third cup of the S70's, they started off by beating the Legion in six, sweeping the LA Stars, and handing the Titans another loss in the finals, this time in five. With only 155 points earned this season was the lowest amount of points a team finished with while still winning the cup, thought that was worth mentioning. With only two seasons left at this point Seattle only went up in the regular season standings, going 54-20-7, finishing top three in goals for and goal differential. In the postseason they dealt with the Wranglers in seven, steam rolled the Phoenix in a sweep, and couldn't quite beat the Predators, losing in six. S79 they had their second best record of 48-21-3, finished top three in all goal categories and for a third time in a row went to the finals. They once again battled the Dragons and beat them in five, barely beat the Stars in a seven game series before this time the Nighthawks got the better of them in six games. Take a breather we still need to mention their Expansion ranking, it's crazy good as you already know and anything I say here doesn't do it justice, it'd be one thing if they were first overall but third or fourth in the expansion ranking, outside of the Phantoms they are the only other team that shares the same ranking in both categories, it's remarkable for them to be first in both. Oh my lord it's finished!! I got through it all! It feels really good to finish this series and my first power ranking style content. With how long it took to add up all the number and everything I will likely release all the number in a MS or something else just to talk about any final notes and let everyone see the numbers for themselves but I want to end it off here for now, it's been a great ride and I look forward to seeing you all next time!! 22. Welcome back readers to another quarterly report, it's the beginning of Season 85 of the VHL and some teams that we thought might dip have not, the Seattle Bears went into the offseason over the cap and had to shed top tier talent, in place they brought in newer players who are still growing, that is the nature of a salary cap after all. Ori is playing is second last season in the VHL, we have talked with the Canadian center and he has confirmed his want to play an 8th season in the league, time will tell if that will be with Seattle or another team. Ori is off to a fairly good start this season, 20 points in 18 games is good and shows he still a point per game player, he started off strong in goal scoring in the first few games, netting three goals in four games. It died down quickly and he picked up one more before the quarter was over. He's playing close to an assists per game which is where you really see his efforts for the team. Faceoffs are important to and another reason why Ori sees lots of ice time. He's taken 804 and won 467 of them for a 58.08% winning percentage. Ori is still that flexible player that is desirable for any team, he'll net you a few goals here and there, set up plenty of goals, win you many faceoffs, and he's effective in special teams. Ori might never hit 100 points or even 90 again, but he's reliable for a point per game and a good all around player. Until next time readers! (word count 276)
