    NEW QUESTIONS

Answer 6 to get 2 TPE.

    1. Season 70 is now underway. How well do you think we did in the first sim?

    2. What are your personal statistical goals for this season?

    3. We currently sit in fourth place. Do you think that is an accurate position of where we will be at the end of the season?

    4. Which VHLer do you hope to model your game after?

    5. Who has been the biggest locker room presence thus far?

    6. We recently acquired King Kruul via trade. What will his impact be on the team?

    1. The fist sim was good, I got 2 assists and we won. The only thing is, I am doing what I did last season and not scoring. It is very early in the season so I am not to worried.

    2. I definitely want to get finish with more points than my rookie season. What I really want is to get way more goals but also be consistent with assists.

    3. I definitely think we will end high in the standings. We have a good team and we all work well together. There is going to be a lot more improvements as the year goes on.

    4. I personally don’t know any VHL players. I am one season deep into the league.

    5. The SD Marlins locker room is very active. More days than others but it is really fun and active. Everyone is basically active.

    6. I don’t know who that is, but I am hoping that he is good and does an amazing job for us this year. I don’t have any doubt that he will fit in with all of us.

  2. I grew up playing the game of hockey. The first time I ever played was the time that I new I wanted to play for the rest of my life. I have played all the other sports but hockey was the most fun and enjoyable. As I was getting older I took the game more seriously, as I started working harder and hiring a personal trainer. When I was old enough and felt like I was good enough to play in the higher leagues I signed up for the VHL to start my dream that I have always wanted to become. I waited a few days, talked to some of the GM’s of the different minor league teams so that I had a good understanding of what to expect. Later that week I got a FA offer from the San Diego Marlins, I have never been so happy. From that day on I knew I have to work harder then I have before. I started to play and my GM told me that I am going to be playing on the first line, I could not believe what I heard, I knew this was the team for me. My regular season started and was a little nervous but played to my best ability. My debut was pretty good as I got an assist. Throughout the season I was getting assist after assist and finally at the 50th game of the season I finally got my first career goal. All of my hard work has finally came together. By the end of the season I finished with 25 points better then I expected when I first started. The season came to a close and we had a lot of ups and down during the season. We were all worried that we would not even make the playoffs, but with our hard work and not giving up we achieved our goal of making the playoffs. Our playoff run wasn’t what what we have had we still did our best every day. During the season I was named all Canada’s Jr team. That was an amazing experience even to be on the team. I got the opportunity to play in the game and have a few minutes a game. During one of the games I even had an assist, I could not have even dreamed of doing that as I represented my home country. Thank you for the opportunity. I will never forget those moments.

When I was coming into this league at first I knew nothing and had to learn everything by talking to people privately for hours. This is all a new thing to me and I am thankful to be where I am today. I had the best GM I could have ever asked for, IR. He never gave up on me or the team throughout the year through our ups and downs. I sat down with him for long periods of time throughout the season to understand everything that I needed to know. I could not thank him enough for everything he has done. I am forever grateful.

I was lucky to have an amazing GM well if that’s not amazing I even had a great AGM. MexicanCow is the best AGM you will ever come across. He is easy to communicate with and works with everyone so well. I am so proud of him because this off season he got the job to be a GM for a team. I am forever grateful for him.

For my teammates thank you for being there for me. I could not have asked for better teammates then what I had this season.

Thank you to the whole SD Marlins organization for believing in me throughout my rookie season.

    Thank you, Jared

    2. How did you think that you affected the San Diego Marlins in the playoffs? How did you contribute?

    • I contributed a little because i had 1 assists in the games that we played, but overall I wish i did more. I don’t think I affected the team in that big a way.

First and foremost, I am applying to be the GM of Las Vegas. I'd like to start off, not by showing my credentials, but explaining why I'd be the best fit for the job.

You see, I've been an AGM in the VHLM for 4 consecutive seasons now with the San Diego Marlins. Not only has the journey been amazing, but the amount of stuff I've been able to learn, and do, has prepared me specifically for this job. Not only that, but it's also taught me the importance of the VHLM, the players in the VHLM and just the whole experience, and really making sure we're able to leave an everlasting impression on the players we GM for all of the right reasons. On top of that, I am passionate about the VHLM, I strive to be the best me I can be, and the best me provides strong leadership, guidance, patience and virtues that the VHLM commonly shares with me, and because of this, I believe I'd be the best candidate to lead the Vegas team to success.

So, what does that leave us with? Well, my credentials of course. I am a 4x AGM with the SD Marlins, as previously mentioned. In this time, I've had the opportunity to help with player recruitment and retainment, locker room activities/activeness, line creation/discussion, player management, drafting, scouting and so much more.

I also also a 1x Canada WJC GM, in that time I also had a lot of the same responsibilities, making it fun for our team as much as I could, I had to select my team, make my own lines and rely more on myself, this helped me prepare for a GM role a lot, as I took on a lot of the same responsibilities a GM in the VHLM has. Finally, I was also a 1x Canada World Cup GM, again having to select my team, with similar responsibilities of the two previous credentials, this also led to my success as a GM and my experience and retainment of information to broaden to a whole new horizon.

So overall, after so many great seasons of waiting, I feel like I have been groomed for success, I have the knowledge, understanding and tools to be successful, and I have a great mentor who always has my back, who I know will always be there to support me if I need any further help or guidance.

MexicanCow is a great guy, great AGM, and has amazing leadership. He is nothing but supportive, wants nothing but the best for his team and will be one of the best GMs to ever be in the position. There is no doubt in my mind that he will be the top GM to ever be in this league.

    Questions

Answer 6-8 to get 2 TPE

    1. San Diego looks more or less average out of the gate. What are your opinions on this? Should we be doing better or worse than we are?

I think we are doing as good as we can for the team we have because our team is not experienced and has a lot of learning to do. But for now there is no high expectations.

    2. How do you feel about the way your player has performed so far this season? If your new how do you think your player will perform?

I think my player will start of average and then by the mid and end of the first season my player will start to grow and develop.

    3. Which Marlins, other than yourself, are you most excited to see perform this season?

I am most exited for Alex Bridge because we are starting at the same time and we can learn together as we go.

    4. Are there any teams out there that you feel we should be looking out for at the moment? Which ones?

I am not familiar with any teams right now.

    5. What do you think is our biggest need at the moment?

Experienced players, and players that are good not just average or below averaged players.

    6. If one of our players were to win league MVP, who do you think is most likely to do it and why?

One of our players that have been in this league for a while.

    7. How have we done at welcoming new players into the league?

This organization is probably the best organization that you can possibly be in. The leadership and the respect that each and every player and staff has for this is is amazing.

    8. How could we do better?

Recruit players that have been in the league for sometime and have the experience to impact the team.

  8. As I was growing up I always liked hockey. I would always watch the sport. My family and I grew up panther fans and still to this day I am a die hard fan. Since watching all the time, I decided to start playing, and that decision was the best decision I have ever made. Throughout the years of playing all my coaches would always push me to be the very best player I can possibly be! Everyday from when I got out of school to around 10 o’clock I would just be practicing and training to be the top player in the league. With my parents, family, friends, and teammates practice everyday and working hard made it that much fun and it kept me motivated. Now that I’v signed with a VHLM team (SDM)I feel like I am in a dream and I have never been more happier. I never been on a better team and felt so included since I signed with the SD Marlins. I can’t wait to see where I go from here. I want to thank Everyone that has helped me to get to this point.
