Yeah, had a check myself and this is the second image I found when I typed Vancouver into google, it's even the same dimensions so not even any scaling.

Just wanted to make sure on this before I did one, I noticed that the bolded thing was under Media Spots but not Podcasts, but I presume I can still talk about the expansion draft on a podcast and be relevant to the theme right?

1. I think you'd probably have to go Helsinki given that they went from a player who was a third line winger with an off-meta build earning less than a point every three games to a first line center who is nearly a point per game. They lose him at the end of the season, but I think improving this season was worth it. 3. Great. It's maybe a bit weird that there wasn't formal applications for an expansion GM vacancy, but at the same time given that Victor obviously has a huge reputation in the VHL and showed interest in the role, I can't fault them for that decision. 4. I'd prefer not to say who I think you'll protect just because I don't want anyone who maybe has a secure spot to start worrying about their future, but I feel fairly positive that we'll at least have Kastelic, Cast and Preencarnacion protected along with auto-Kriketers.

1. What are your thoughts on the trades that have been made thus far in deadline week? 2. What do you think the top four picks would look like in a re-draft of Season 61? 3. Prior to this recent run of good form, there was talk of splitting Cast-Preencarnacion onto two different lines. If such a change were ever to be done, what do you think the result would be? 4. You mentioned in my media article that you didn't like the Davos logo change, is that your least favourite logo change in VHL history? 5. Name one member who you think would be a good addition to the BOG? 6. I noted in my "Hottest Mess" podcast (the one where I gave Boubabi/Kendrick joint winners slot) that I saw more perma-bans this year (Boubabi, BDU, FamishedBlanket) than I'd ever seen in any prior year in the VHL. As you've been in the league longer than myself, I was wondering if that was the same for yourself or if there was a year with more bans prior to my arrival (Anderson counting as one entity)?

It's probably because you've already attempted to claim welfare for this week. You can't claim for welfare and a 6 point PT (in your case a graphic) in the same week, it's one or the other.

So from that it seems like Charm enters FA and can't sign for Davos, Seattle or Helsinki.

We’ve all got opinions and there will always be times where there’s only a small minority of people who agree with you. Hell, sometimes you can have an opinion that no-one agrees with. So that’s basically what this media is going to be, talking about those opinions, although I realised after I wrote it, it’s really only about logos: I Still Hate the New VHL Logo Old Logo Left/New Logo Right I never had a problem with the old VHL logo. For me it looked perfectly fine, clearly showed what it was about and looked natural as a sports organization logo. Then Boubabi decided he could do better and put together his own logo, the one that we have today, and I just never liked it and was a bit annoyed that it wound up being our new logo of choice. Don’t get me wrong, it has some aesthetically pleasing elements to it, but as a logo for a sports organization it just doesn’t work. Ask any person who doesn’t know about the VHL to tell you what that logo says, they’ll probably eventually get it but how many logos are there in the world where you have to figure out what the company in question actually is? This continues to transition into our current banner; with the bottom bit of the logo missing, what am I looking at as a newcomer? Just a mess of lines on a grainy background? Finally, if there was never going to be a VHLM one in a similar style and they were going to keep the old one, what was the point of the change in the first place? I wasn’t a fan of the Americans Logo Change Either TBH, I don’t think the A that came prior was that great of a logo to begin with, but I think we got worse with the current one we have today. One of the things that I liked about the logos was that they all had that American sports franchise with a dynamic mascot or imagery. Davos’ logo change was the first kind of step away from that, but it still retains something of that feel with the mountains and the Brooklyn Nets-esque shape. The Americans though, it feels like it’s gone fully away from that to a point where it more represents a European-esque soccer logo (and obviously that really doesn’t fit with a team called the Americans) which results in a logo that doesn’t fit in with the rest of the league. It’s weird, because the two logos that I’ve had issues with here were made by the same guy who made my personal favourite logo, which was for the Stockholm Vikings. In addition, it was kind of a sour change for me personally because, while I obviously appreciated having my jersey retired (my only one so far in this league) it was a bit disappointing that because it came at the same time as the logo reveal, I was represented with a banner that had a logo that I personally never played under.

Dils meme set up this podcast, talking about some interesting updates I came across during my brief time as an updater.

I believe I've only ever tagged myself once, and that was as a warning to others that no-one was safe from my tagging exploits. That people are now using those same tactics to congratulate themselves makes me sick to my stomach.

I think you still have one guy to pick @ShawnGlade

Hello! Hope you're doing well 1. I actually haven't touched Overwatch for about a month I'd say, only played a couple of times since the Pajodcast stream. I'm sure I'll get back on it at some point. Right now, the games I'm playing are Yakuza Kiwami 2 (I completed Kiwami 1 a week or two ago so moved onto that) and Pokemon Let's Go (which is a surprisingly fun trip down memory lane). Also went to a girls place on a date and we finished A Way Out in one sitting. I didn't think it was bad, but if I'd had bought into the hype pre-launch I could see why people would be disappointed cause there's definitely flaws. 2. Damage: Genji, he's just the one player that I cannot play well as at all under any circumstance. Tank: I haven't properly got to grips with Wrecking Ball enough to really judge him, but I'd probably say Orisa. It's between her and Roadhog (who I've never really gotten to grips with since they changed his gun) at least cause I'd say I've got to grips now with the other four tanks. Support: Ana, my aim isn't bad, but I'm just not quick enough at picking up targets to heal with someone who requires a lot of aim. Also, since we used to stream, my Lucio has gotten terrible for whatever reason, just can't aim with his gun at all! 3. I've been very lucky in my VHL career as when I've had attention with a player, I've never really had a bad GM, but regarding favourite GM's to play for, I'd have to say yourself and Hedgehog. 4. I have a specific plan as to what I'd do with my next guy if I continue to create players, but I don't know if he would be an Edwin, which will make sense down the line. 5. I mean we named a series Saving Bronze Ryan so I guess I'd have to go with yourself haha!

@Eudaldkp Novacek retired approx. two seasons ago, his current player is Ryan Sullivan Jr.

3. Setting the hotel on fire is usually a riot! 4. Podrick Cast, can't trust English people. 5. If you picture the genital triangle, you want to shoot the puck so it grazes the bottom of that.

Looking at the best and worst VHL teams of 2018 while I drive my car.

In terms of player goals, yeah for the most part I was predominantly focused on my hits, sbs and PIMs (hence why I lead all defenseman in the career stats for those categories and fuck anyone who points out I don't actually have the SB record cause that guy played 9 seasons and I was less than 20 off his record) and I did predominantly play on rebuilding teams. I would say though that Evgeni's approach to his goal is more pure than mine. I was past 70 scoring and passing early on in my career while Evgeni is still in his 40's in both, and I didn't actually add anything to fighting until my fifth season (didn't stop me getting into fights mind you) while Evgeni's already at 70. It was really only after I did my TPE re-roll in my seventh season that I had attributes built purely towards hitting those goals I set myself.

2) I don't think I was here when Austin was (or if I was, it was at the very late point of his career), don't really remember much of The Process and Chat and Gritty are VHLM (although Gritty only for now). I'll go RGIII just cause that's the only one I believe I played with. 3) Podrick Cast, best balance between TPE earning, years left on his career and sim performance. 4) I don't really have a favourite per se, although I have a lot of members I feel like I have a good relationship with, like the Pajodcast guys, Boom, Victor, Beaviss, Will, etc. 5) It's difficult to say because I don't read as many of the funny medias anymore I guess. Ruutu and Jardy stand out as those that I remember enjoying reading what they wrote. 1. I don't really know if I have the proper answer to that question, but the attribute that I maxed second was defense, so I guess that's how I viewed it from my perspective at least. 2. It's great, we've got an active LR and it looks like we're going to be set to challenge for a continental cup for the foreseeable future. I'll answer the rest of your questions next week.

I think my biggest problem to our current approach of things regarding goalies is what impact it's going to have on the VHLM experience for new members in the future. It's only natural that warning players upon creation as a goalie of their potential lack of playing time in the VHL is going to lead to much less candidates for the goalie position in the VHLM. Looking at the current setup, this season is going to be the last VHLM season for three of the current goalie crop (Nixon and Rift through promotion to VHL, Weekes VHLM rights expiring), leaving it with two high TPE inactives (Smith and Sohva) and two actives (Pouta and Cole) entering Season 65, and my concern is that shortage of goalies is going to lessen the VHLM experience for everyone (E.g. You aren't going to have the same five team playoff chase we had last season with only four capable goalies) unless a change to the system is made. I know that post doesn't provide any solutions to that problem, but if people were to agree with the same stance made, I could certainly try and figure out a potential solution.

Nice read! The one thing that I would say from my own experience is if you aren't really interested in investing too much into checking (that attribute and the fighting one are the main ones that are used for determining penalties), you don't really need to add anything into discipline as having low checking and fighting will limit your PIMs anyway. E.g. My player is on 40 checking and fighting with 40 discipline as well and he's yet to exceed 30 PIMs in a season. There are very occassional random exceptions to that rule, but they don't happen enough to the point where a player with low checking would need to be looking at improving discipline as well. And yes, reputation is essentially number of likes received and I believe any of the other reaction emojis that you can select instead of the like add to that total as well.

Welcome back @Dingle, I remember your old player being a part of the Aces team I was a GM of, hope you enjoy your return!
