  1. Vinny Detroit wasn't born into a hockey family. Raised in Texas, hockey wasn't exactly the sport that parents wanted to get themselves into, and with a family name like Detroit, Vinny was already teased enough by the kids at school. However something kept his interest with hockey and after pestering his parents year after year they finally put him into the sport. Now let's say that Vinny wasn't exactly the best player when he first got on the ice, hell, he's not the best player out there to this day. But when he first started kids continued the teasing about how bad he was. Something he wasn't bad at was being the biggest, strongest and meanest player on the ice at all times and that's when Vinny found his calling. Once put into contact hockey, it was game over for the rest of the kids. He made it his goal to crush anyone and everyone that dared to get in his way. Nah, he wasn't putting up points, he wasn't even making great plays defensively, but causing the opposition to be scared to carry the puck every time he was on the ice was enough for coaches to keep playing him. Vinny's game still hasn't progressed much past his hard hitting play style, and who knows if it ever will. But coming in at 6'8, 250 pounds, he's going to be a monster out there and team-mates will love having that presence on the ice. To continue his career he's gonna have to add a bit more to his game, he's not even a huge fighter if he can help it, but isn't afraid to drop the gloves if he has to. His game is literally making sure that every player in his sight gets hit. He's already broken records for hits in every league he's played in, and he doesn't plan to stop doing that. The big question is going to be if this type of play style has a place in the VHL, we've all seen the way the league has gone with softer high scoring players, everyone wants to be the same thing so Vinny will bring a fresh face to the league which hopefully can cause a bit of change. If not, he's excited at the opportunity to potentially play in the new VHL Europe league if worse comes to worse. Right now his plan is to jump right into the VHL after his draft but that depends on a lot. All we have to say is when the big truck Vinny Detroit is on the ice, keep your head up kids.

  7. Vinny Detroit isn't your typical meta player. There will be no scoring. But there will also not be any other offensive attributes. Vinny is out there to hit people, he has lots of built up rage that has to be released. He will hit, he will dominate other players physically with the strength of 100 men. He will also spend lots of time in the penalty box, but his teammates will love him for it. He won't seek out fights but won't be afraid to answer the call if he throws a dirty hit, which he will. Detroit will be a locker room kind of guy, he will be there for his teammates, pump them up, keep them in the game physically. Other players will fear when Detroit is on the ice and will have to keep their heads on a swivel at all times. This is the kind of game Vinny Detroit will bring to the VHL.

  12. I've been coasting on old podcast claims for the past 2 months and those have finally come to an end, as well as just positing my last graphic in the bank so as of right now I have no PTs for the coming weeks. I think I've decided to retire Latrell at deadline this year, one season early, as he's been a huge disappointment this and I'm not really into the league currently. That being said, it's exciting if I want to recreate right away with the whole new changes but do I think I can commit myself to doing PTs for a new player? Who knows but I think I will give it a try at the very least. Now I can't do podcasts with anyone since my internet is so shit house where I'm living so that leaves solo podcasts or firing up the old photoshop. Either way I'm gonna have to do a shit ton of PTs and then coast on it as I don't think I can be consistent enough to do a single PT each week. The likelihood of me just fizzling out is high I would say, but see how we go.
  13. 1. I think I voted for Berlin only, pretty meh choices 2. Probably an American flag 3. Think Tampa and Boston and Colorado and Winnipeg 4. Yeah weekend was okay, worked the entire thing so 5. No funny names 6. The heat and the mozzies
  14. 1. Pretty average, hopefully can get better 2. Yeah it's a cool idea, I hate the name seeing as we already have teams in Europe 3. Bratislava and Stockholm have cool logos 4. I think that the worst of the bunch ended up winning it all, every entry but that one was really good imo 5. Yeah been watching as much as I can, excited for elimination games as always 6. It's coming into winter for me
  15. 1. Honestly didn't even watch/listen to it. 2. Yeah was a good off-season, rested to get going now 3. I wanted Australia to win but alas we still don't have a team 4. Think teams will be making sure to get 12 players on their roster to enable them to have that extra cap space 5. Nah don't follow any of that fake league 6. Oh, NHL. Nah just excited for good hockey
