When you have 8-9 pages of someone repeating that someone with 15 TPE is beating him in scoring I'm not sure you understand that definition of "professional debate"

Hello fellow VHLers and esteemed BoG members,
 
I am here to ask for your support in my effort to get the job pay of VHL Financier increased from 1tpe per week to the more universal 2tpe per week. Financier is an important job, ensuring teams adhere to the VHL salary cap to promote fair play and competitiveness in the league.
 
A majority of other league jobs are paid at 2tpe per week. VHL Financier is only allotted 1 tpe per week through the majority of the season and 2tpe for 1 off-season week because it's assumed that the only work is done in the off-season. Despite a large amount of work being done in the off-season, a good Financier must also keep up-to-date with league transactions during the regular season in order to keep the VHL financial structure and salaries accurate.
 
League employees allow the VHL machine to bravely march on. I respect other employees and the work they do, but feel that there are several 2tpe per week jobs which require the same, or less, effort than Financier.
 
With that being said, I am here to humbly ask that you sign my petition to increase VHL Financier pay to 2tpe per week full-time. Please post in this thread to show your support!

No more scoring title for me

Nicklas Karlsson had a productive rookie season in the VHLM. At the end of it all he finished as the captain of the Bern Royals who made it into the playoffs but were knocked out by the eventual champions in 5 games. Karlsson finished with 70 points in 72 games with the majority of his points coming from his 56 assists. He also finished with a +6 rating and led the team with 161 blocked shots.
 
This season's VHL draft was loaded with talented defensemen and Karlsson was looking like the 6th or 7th best defenseman in the draft so he was expected to go in the second round. The Seattle Bears headed into this draft with 5 picks in the first two rounds and looked to build their core around this year's picks. They snagged the consensus number 1 pick and their franchise goaltender Niklaus Mikaelson early as well as Jakub Rhineheart one of the top 3 defenders in this draft but he will be switching to play wing in the VHL. In the second round we saw the Bears pick up two more highly touted defencemen in Borje Samuelsson and Nicklas Karlsson as well as winger Maris Ziedins.
 
Karlsson was excited to join the Bears and has been impressed with what he's seen so far. He is looking forward to be playing with many of the stars he's faced up against in the VHLM on his team and has expressed confidence in the Seattle management's vision for the team.

So a couple things of note for the season.
 
First of all I traded Streetlight out today, I really like the guy but he told me he is going straight welfare points at best for activity and he wasn't sure he would stick around. I got Corco's player Rift Pajodcast in return which I feel is a phenomenal boost for us and qualifies as trade rape. I know Corco is not sold on this team and he could leave for nothing in three seasons but I feel we can show him over the next three seasons that this is the place to be. So everyone welcome Corco. Shoot the shit with him if you have time because he is a seasoned member, former GM and knows this league well.
 
Second thing I should mention is the contracts. You'll notice that I gave you all 2 year contracts when the max is 3 years. I did this for two reasons, the first reason is that players can only be offered extensions in the last year of their contract which is now next season. So I can offer you all career long contracts which a few of you expressed you wanted and I hope all of you will eventually want to sign. Second reason is, well to cover my ass in case you want out of here I can get something in return, lol.
 
Another thing you'll notice about the contracts is that some of you make 3 mil and some make 4 mil. This is because Rookies playing in the VHL have a max of 4 mil a season on their contracts while rookies returning to the VHLM have a max of 3 mil per season. So basically I gave you all the most money I could so show me some love.
 
So other than that I just want everyone to not get their hopes up too high off the start becasue we will be a lotto pick team again this season. By the third season of your contracts I plan to be competing heavy with the others. We all need to help each other along the way, stay active and have each others back. Anyone fucks with you in this league you let me know so I can put a foot in their ass. League wide vote of which teams to keep. Put the rest of the teams rosters in the contraction draft.

I'm having a thought! We decrease the teams in the VHL from 10 to 6. Thus increasing each teams rosters sizes. Larger rosters will create more realism in the VHL. This should also increase competitiveness.
