  1. My player hasn’t been scoring very many points as of late and is in kind of a slump. I know it’s my rookie season and I’m still not the highest tpe but i just can’t shake the feeling of feeling brand new. I sometimes have flashes of brilliance than nothing for 2-3 sims and it’s really tough to see. I have been putting in the work but maybe it’s just not my season and the next season will be better. I’m so proud to be on Warsaw even though we are not a competitive team right now, I do feel like the management picked me for a reason gave me a path to greatness. I’m sure my play will pick up and I’ll start getting back to scoring and I’ll be super super happy. Real life has been great, working lots and making money. Hope the good feelings continue for the holidays!
  2. 1. Not American but happy to see all the plates of all the good food! 2. I didnt, i was gonna get a couple games but decided not to! 3. Well as a Warsaw player the other bad team i know how it feels to lose, i don’t mind losing close games but blow out games are tough 4. Europe is a blood bath and NA is fine so not really. 5. Well not really, not getting many points currently, only rookie season though 6. Yellow? Idk hahaha
  3. This week was all about cardio and skating for me. I was working really hard with the skating coach of the team as well as my trainer for my cardio. I know that I need to be faster and lighter on my feet out there. sometimes I feel like I am made of stone so it will be nice to finally work on what I feel is a weakness in my game. A lot of my skating training was focused on techniques because I have the power I just don't know when to cross over or push as effectively. A lot of this training was more or less about breaking old habits and it was not very physical. My cardio training on the other hand was a lot harder. Did some running up inclines, sprinting hard then jogging then sprinting again, it was a lot of tough work but I made it through it. I think overtime this will help elevate my skating ability!
  4. 1. La being number one, our games vs them are competitive and it's funny that they are first. 2. Somewhere relaxing, maybe somewhere with a hot spring or something like that. we work hard and relaxation and rest is a huge help to our game. 3. Defence forward goalie 4. spend less, Not the same experience but a pretty great experience still. 5. toy drive for the kids, work at the hospital etc. 6. anyone and everyone. The ability to know my teammates on a personal level rather than professional is great for the morale.
  5. Claiming 2/2 for nov 19
  6. It does not feel like long but I have been in the VHL since May 25th, 2020 Who would have thought? Time sure has flown by! I can't believe that I am only on my third player. each player I want to be better and better than the rest but today I wanted to look back on my other players, Zachariah Kisslinger and Zach Kisslinger II and my newest player King Kisslinger Zachariah Kisslinger Zachariah Kisslinger was my very first player here in the VHL, My good buddy @JBrew42 was like, "Man, you have to try this league out it's super cool!" and after a few attempts I finally decided to make my first player. Zachariah Kisslinger was a Defenceman, I believe at the time of creation the league did not have many Defencemen so I thought this was a chance to at least guarantee me some playing time in the big leagues eventually. I signed my first waiver contract with the Missisagaua Hounds! I got to play with my buddy @JBrew42and it was a very cool thing to be happening. the only problem I had was I didn't know how to update anymore than the simple welfare and press conference lethal combo lol. It took me a very long time to make it out of the M, I would go on to play two seasons in Ottawa. The First season I did not do the best but I was a plus twenty. The second season was a great year and I had a huge jump and put up 77 points and was over a ppg! I remember being so happy seeing that lol. Then came my time to play in the VHL and my very first team was Prague. I remember when Diamond Ace drafted me in the discord he called me the steal of the draft, if only that was true haha! That team was so fun and so legendary, doomsday, dom a super fun time! I ended up playing four seasons in Prague and honestly, for a 500 tpe defenceman, I was putting in a decent amount of work on the ice. I was also pretty decent in the playoffs as well. I don't think I would have the knowledge and the passion for the league I have now If I never had this player, This player showed me that even If your player isn't good that's not what it's all about. it's about meeting and connecting with other people and building relationships. Zach Kisslinger II Zach Kisslinger II, man I really stepped my game up with this player. I locked in and actually took the time to learn how to max earn and get involved in the community a little more. this player was part of the first-ever VHLE draft which is also pretty cool! I believe that if I kept updating and never had to deal with some real-life stuff this character would be a first-ballot hall of famer, there I said it haha. This player had his way in every single league he played in at some point. Kisslinger II signed with Houston to start his career and played 13 games there but then was drafted by Halifax, and that's when the career started! in my rookie season, I had 50 goals and 89 assists for 139 points which is crazy. I brought home some hardware that season bringing home the Vladimir Boomchenko Trophy for most assists in the league. If this did not put the league on notice then I don't know what could. For the first-ever VHLE draft Kisslinger was selected 30th to Stockholm, the team I would AGM for the first time ever! Kisslinger II continued the pace and put in 46 goals and 65 assists for 111 points in 72 games. Stockholm would go on and make it to the finals that season but ultimately lose. That didn't set me back because, for the first time, someone took a risk on Kisslinger II by taking him in the first round. That was Dlamb and Warsaw. Kisslinger II was selected 14th By Warsaw. Kisslinger went on to put himself in the history books on this team. KIsslinger went on and put up an amazing rookie campaign and put up 89 points for my first season. Kisslinger II would be promoted to assistant captain and in Season 84 Kisslinger and the Preds would finally break through and win themselves a cup. Kisslinger would go on to have an amazing playoff and IMO was robbed of playoff MVP this season with a stat line of 14 goals 4 game winners including a game-seven and 15 assists for 29 points in 20 games. Kisslinger would add three more pieces of hardware to his resume, with a Continental Cup, Victory Cup, and a Scott Boulet trophy. Kisslinger would move on to become the captain for the rest of his 7 season career. Kisslinger II was the franchise leader in Games Played, Goals, Assists, Total Points, and Hits. This player I am so proud of and it gave me confidence in my build-making ability! King Kisslinger King Kisslinger I am hoping for a repeat of Zach Kisslinger II but without the 2 seasons of going MIA. The careers are pretty similar already minus the points, Both of them lost in the VHLE finals, and both go around the same overall to Warsaw, 14th, and 15th respectively. I have done really well with keeping up with this player. I try to max earn every week no matter what even if that means scrambling last minute to find the trivia answers or typing up a media spot! I am pretty impressed with King Kisslinger this season, only six points off PPG and that is just two good games and I am right back in it. I have been thinking and I just want this player to be a winner. I want to have so many cups with Warsaw eventually I would not know where to put them. I cannot wait to see what the rest of the season brings and all I can say is LETS GO PREDS!!!!! 1016 words claiming week ending November 12 & week ending November 19
  7. 1. I am feeling pretty good, lots of ice time and I am putting up points so I'm thrilled 2. I think dead last or second last lol 3. a Hawaii team would be cool for sure 4. try our best to get more and more picks maybe try to sign a free agent this upcoming offseason. 5. I am feeling pretty good to be honest, going to get better and better so it will be nice 6. Anisimov or me
  8. I am really happy with my players performance so far this season! I did manage to get a goal in my very first game and I couldn’t be happier! It’s nice to see me and the fellow rookie tearing up the score sheet so far. I know Warsaw is a few seasons away from competing but to know we are the first pieces of the puzzle is such a nice feeling. I’m excited to see what the gm and agm do in the future because the future is in their hands! I would love to hit the 25 goal mark this season, that would impress me quite a bit. I feel like that will boost my confidence quite a bit to really become a scoring machine. I do think this is quite possible because as the season progresses I will just get better and better every game so it’s a nice feeling for sure. I hope everyone had a great week and has a greater week coming up! Cheers.
  9. Introducing one of Warsaw’s newest rookies, King Kisslinger, whose skill has set the ice ablaze in his debut season. With a great start, (nine points in ten games) Kisslinger has already become a force to be reckoned with. Whether it is making new fans with his skills on ice or showing determination for the team and city of Warsaw. King Kisslinger is becoming a fan favourite. Not just because he shares the last name as one of the greats, because he is his own unique being. Get ready for a thrilling journey as King Kisslinger carves his path to VHL and Predator greatness. King Kisslinger, is determined to etch his own legacy on the ice. Despite having a legendary family member with a retired jersey number in Warsaw. King shuns any shortcuts and aims to earn his stripes through hard work. King Kisslinger is on his own path, fueled by the desire to build a name for himself in the VHL. We asked King Kisslinger a few questions about what it means to follow in his families steps and how he plans to be different. How do you plan to be different than Zach Kisslinger II, he has quite the résumé when it comes to playing in Warsaw so we’d like to hear your thoughts on that? Do people ever compare the two of you? Do you feel any pressure when these comparisons pop up? Is there any advice that Zach Kisslinger II gave you that has stuck with you to this day? King Kisslinger shortly answered all of our questions. I plan to be different by not comparing, comparison is the thief of joy and when i start comparing i can’t create my own legacy. I’ll win more champions and score more goals, but if i don’t the people of Warsaw will still one day look and see I gave it my all every night for the city, team and fans. Yeah I get comparisons all of the time but I don’t really listen to them. I mean it really is not a bad comparisons but it’s only bad whenever they talk negatively or if I have a bad game I’ll suddenly never be as good as my family members. But I just try not to let it get to my head. He told me to give it my all here in Warsaw and they will give me everything they have back ten times over. He told me to keep a level head and to keep working hard and to do everyone proud. We asked one last question before King Kisslinger had to go and it was how do you feel about your rookie season so far? I have to be as humble as possible but I’m really happy to see how my season has started. In the VHLE it took me a while to get going but I feel like I really found my stride here so far in Warsaw! I’m really thankful that the GM decided the team was ready for me this year. I made a promise to the front office, my teammates, my family and last but not least the fans that i will be focused on training and getting better and better every single game. I think that one day this will help Warsaw and I build our own legacy together. 570 words ish italics question bold answer sorry it doesn’t look pretty, did it in the notes app because i almost forgot to update lol
  10. 1. To lock in and get our feet wet and get ready for the future! 2. i just want to get points and prove to myself i belong. I would like the team to win a few to show some promise for sure but i don’t expect to win much 3. i think Warsaw vs Vancouver in Warsaw could be cool. 4. I was just training waiting for my debut, i was waiting to put the skates back on and put on a show for the fans. 5. Hmmm I’m not sure, i think anything will help? I know this doesn’t help but I’d need to think 6. get rid of London, sorry lol, play for Warsaw, rebrand new york
  11. 1. You guys should be an exciting team to watch play!! 2.Very loyal to my team. I’ve only every played for one team on both players I’ve had 3.no but i went to McDonald’s once and there was a bite out of my burger lol 4. I’m related to Jim Rutherford the gm/president of Canucks or whatever he is up to these days lol 5.2 way sniper, want to be able to play good defence but be a lethal scoring option. 6. A VHL without spartan is no VHL, so I’m sure someone misses him
  12. Another small update from yours truly haha! I applied all my tpe to my player that i have been saving up. It was around 52 so not much but enough to actually make a change in my players performance I imagine. I put 10 of it into my face-offs and then the rest into defence and speed. I’m not sure what I’m going to do after my speed is caught up but i will figure it out. I have decent expectations for my player this season, I feel like I will have lots of opportunities to play decent time and experience all ends of the ice in Warsaw this season. I don’t think I will be first line for this season but i will keep working hard to become that first line centre that I am destined to be! I am more than excited to see what happens and happy that the season is starting soon.
  13. As a player in the VHL I've had my fair share of ups and downs on the ice, especially this season. Choking a 3-1 lead in the finals this season or losing the gold medal game it wasn’t easy but today, I want to talk about the things I excel at and the areas where I'm still working on improvement. From my powerful shots that keep goalies on their toes to my faceoffs, there's a lot I'm proud of. Such as the steps I’m taking to become a strong two way player. Today I will talk about embracing the learning curve that comes with being passionate about the game of hockey! I didn’t have the stats or the awards that I wanted, my player in my eyes was asleep for half the season and finally woke up to go to be for the playoffs again. Then to stay asleep in the world juniors this off-season it’s been rough. But this is part of the learning curve mentioned above that sometimes we have to experience to really taste victory!! My shot is like a secret weapon. It is super strong and accurate. It keeps the other team guessing and the goalie working hard. Whether I am taking a powerful slap shot or a quick wrist shot, I have a natural talent for scoring goals, and that makes me a big asset to Warsaw, and their future. When it comes to face-offs, I feel like a superhero in the middle of the ice haha! I have been training hard in Warsaw to be quick and smart. Winning face-offs helps my team control the game, and I am trying to be a pro at it. It's almost like I can dictate the pace of the hockey game. But it's not just about scoring goals for me. Lately, I have been working hard and trying to get better at playing defence too. I have been working to understand the game so well that I can predict what the other team will do in some plays. By being good at both scoring and stopping the other team, I feel like i can establish myself as dominant two-way force and become a super important and flexible player on the ice. I've been working hard to get faster on the ice because I know it's an area where I can do better. I've been doing special skating exercises to improve my technique and going to the gym regularly to make my muscles stronger. It's not just about going fast it's about doing it in the right way. After all I am 6’8 220 pounds and i have a lot of body to move hahaha! I believe that by getting quicker, I can not only improve my own game but also be a better team player for the Warsaw Predators. I'm putting in the effort because I want to be the best player I can be for myself and my team. I'm working on not getting penalties. I hurt my team and their chances of winning each time i make a silly mistake. So, I'm being more careful and paying attention to how I play. It's about making better decisions during the game, so I don't end up in the penalty box. This way, I can stay on the ice and help my team instead of sitting out. I know it's a small change, but it makes a big difference in keeping the game in our favour and giving us a better chance to win. I am beyond excited to see what happens this season and I’m hoping that i can make a big impact for the predators this season! LETS GO WARSAW!! strengths bold weaknesses italics
  14. 9.5/10 first and foremost sorry to hear that the season didn’t go as planned for your player, it’s always rough when the player doesn’t perform to expectations and I’m sure a bounce back is near. Like you said in article, you’re sticking to what you usually do to train this off-season, already betting on yourself! This is a great article, i like how you can tell the difference between who is talking between the bold and not bold. I like how you show emotion in the article and talk from the players perspective as well as the interviewer. Spelling and grammar is nicely done. The one improvement i could recommend is maybe add a title in the media spot or a photo to make it pop out more. But other than that i think you are set. good luck this season
  15. 9.5/10 Great job on this article! It reads really nicely and is super easy to follow due to the bold on who’s talking. Spelling and grammar are fine by my eyes. The one con is it is not very visually appealing but that’s just being picky and taking away from the actual point! I enjoy reading the interviewer type media spots as it allows you to show some characteristics about your player like yours does perfectly! it is all about that bounce back, that’s all you can give to the fans and to yourself. If you and your teammates put in that work and greatness will come! Good luck!!
  16. 1. The people, it’s great to talk to so many people that have one of the same passions/hobbies as me so it’s quite nice. 2. I love Warsaw, live and breathe Warsaw. 3. I like to sit in silence and really lock in and focus on the moment. 4. Yeah i got my ‘’ playlist, basically makes me feel like I’m going to score 100 lol 5. basketball for sure. 6. Torn MCL for sure lol
  17. I am fired up for the upcoming season, i can’t wait to see my new player finally play in the big leagues, on the team where i made a name for myself and left a lasting impression on, it’s perfect and you couldn’t make it up. I think King Kisslinger is going to be outstanding this season. I think that he will finally break into the two way scorer he is. The Warsaw team isn’t the most talented right now as we are all prospects and or veterans at the end of their careers but that doesn’t mean we won’t go out there and impress. I was about of one Warsaw championship team and I know for a fact I will be apart of another. It may be a few seasons away hell, the way Simon is it could be this season hahaha ;) but at the end of the day I’m so ready for the season to be back and i cannot wait to make my debut :)
  18. Just a small update again, Kinda shocked that Rome lost the series to the express. We were up 3-1 and then pulled a serious choke job. It’s alright though was all in good fun and was a very exciting series. King Kisslinger was kind of missing in the playoffs, but it’s all experience for my player, eventually when he wins that win will feel so much better because he knows how it felt to lose when it was within a fingertips length. Just means I have to put my head down and grind harder! Next season will be an interesting story and King Kisslinger can’t ready for a real take over. In real life I have been not so busy, taking it day by day. Nothing exciting has happening really and everything has been the same and it kinda feels stale, i just have to try new things to keep myself busy and happy.
  19. 1. Role model, i feel like it’s the most important way to be 2. A young team is always good but it’s even better when they can grow and get that chemistry better! 3. Spartan will be able to make the locker room fun, just have to make sure it’s active and it’s awesome. 4. I like to talk to a lot of different people and it’s nice to watch my player perform and make his own story. 5. Not much, just keep earning tpe and working hard. 6. Smoking lol
  20. Review 9.5/10 these graphics look amazing! Great job. I really like how for the word New York, you have the city as the background it’s a really simple but powerful touch that makes the graphic stand out. The jersey looks good, doesn’t look too unnatural! The blue background with the yellowish sky is a nice touch, the one thing that knocks these from a 10/10 to a 9.5/10 is the white background on the top one, it may be personal preference but the white background looks a little out of place! I would try another colour as the background, maybe make a holiday themed graphic for Halloween for example! Just ideas haha but great job, can’t wait to see what else you post in the future!
  21. Review: 9/10 It is really nice to see someone put a lot of effort and detail into their media spot. It was a really nice, easy read and it kept me engaged the whole time. I liked reading about the details of the house and the words you used to describe the house. Grammar and spelling were also perfect. One thing for improvement for the 10/10 would to be make it more visually appealing, maybe add some photos or a title. Something to make it stand out a bit more. i hope the sale of the house goes well for your player hahah
  22. Happy thanksgiving to all Canadians!! Hope you all had a good dinner and day for all that do it on Sunday, i do it on Monday so i have my great big dinner tomorrow. I have not been as active and updating as much, so much traveling back and forth, getting ready for work just a bunch of real life stuff happening. Some good news is I just got myself a new brand new bedroom set with my first ever brand new bed which is quite nice. I am pretty happy with how my life has been going recently and hopefully it can continue to be good moving forward. I am super happy with Rome and the Boys. We made it to the finals and took Game one, three away from winning the championship which would be amazing. I hope we can continue the great hockey and work towards becoming the VHLE champions!
  23. 1. You guys should do a little better for sure, having new life really helps sometimes. 2. both, stats are nice but i can recognize my role. 3. Spartan is an OG so anything he does is for the right reasons 4. Not sure, since I’m not an active player, but i imagine Spartan is pretty active in it. 5. give it under 3 to be back 6. Medium rare for sure
  24. Rome wins it all I’m afraid..
  25. 1. Super happy, i started off with a very rough season and i finally flipped the switch. I’m super happy about how the team has ended up as well 2. the start of my individual stats. I was so so so far behind a point per game but now I’ve finally gotten close. 3. Hopefully not Oslo, so any other team lol. 4. It’s gonna be a weird team this year for sure, honestly not sure who my pick is. 5. Maybe a line change for these games who knows lol, they could just have our number. 6. Does my reading stuff on my phone count lol.
