Questions with AJ Today I’m joined by @AJW to talk about King Kisslinger, a Center for the upcoming VHLM draft. I’d like to thank AJ for taking the time out of his day to join me and answer a few questions I have! Q. How and where did you feel King Kisslinger fit into the Houston squad last season? Was he a pick-up you felt you needed to help bolster the team? A. Kisslinger fit into our Bulls lineup perfectly. While already having two centers, we were missing a 6th core forward. Kisslinger played a few games at winger to start his season but quickly showed he deserved his own line at center. Houston signed two more wingers as well to build more depth in our lines. Kisslinger played the perfect role as our 3rd line center and even saw some time centering the second line during playoffs. Q. As King Kisslinger’s first gm, where do you see him going in this year's draft? Are there any teams you could see really benefiting from his presence? A. I think Kisslinger will rise up the draft board higher than his current TPE rankings show. Kisslinger shows up every week and has so much potential to reach. Anyone who is smart enough to take him when he’s available will have themselves a future franchise center. Q. What would you say King Kisslinger’s biggest strengths and weaknesses were last season? A. I believe it is too early to even see strengths and weaknesses in Kisslinger. With such a small sample of games played as an underdeveloped skater, I would say Kisslinger did his job this past season. He wasn’t producing the points imagined but that wasn’t what we needed him for. We needed a lockdown center that could bounce around any line we needed. Q. What would your NHL comparison for King Kisslinger be? A. Sticking with Houston’s state in Texas, I’m seeing Tyler Seguin. An all-star player to come. Update I was impressed by my first season, I really think that even though I wasn’t getting points, I was winning faceoffs, getting a decent plus-minus, hell even throwing the body around!! Sometimes I just need to remember that points aren’t everything to show you’re a good player. I’m looking forward to seeing where I go in the draft. I’m super excited to hopefully have an immediate impact on a time that needs me. I have no preferences for teams, as long as I can play hockey and hopefully help win a championship. I would love to end up being a top 5 pick in any of the drafts to really prove to myself that I’m elite and showcase to the world that King Kisslinger is going to be a force to reckon with. It isn’t the end of the world if I’m not, I will just show the world they messed up and should have picked me earlier! I’d quickly like to thank AJ again for joining me to answer a few questions. I’m really excited to see what the career of King Kisslinger turns into! 512 words. sorry it looks so rough, had to do it on the phone at work lol

1. Man what a season it was! I played my very best and was happy with my depth role! Was an honour to be a late pick up and be a Bull for the time I was! 2. I’d love to keep in touch with my teammates, it’s important to make connections and friendships in this league! 3. The other teams goalie lol, when you have an elite goalie it’s hard to put pucks past him!! 4. I don’t think so, going to focus on the draft! 5. Diamond Ace for sure. 6. Working hard, i want to be the best!

Early Life King Kisslinger was born on December 15th in a small town in Northern Ontario. King Kisslinger has 1 younger sibling and they lived with their parents, Harold and Loretta. Harold was a die-hard Blackhawks fan so hockey was always in King Kisslinger's life but he was not really a fan of the sport. King Kisslinger had a pretty easygoing childhood, his parents were loving, and he and his sibling got along great but the one thing he had to do that he did not like was play hockey. As a child, King hated playing hockey because his dad was such a big Blackhawks fan, all he ever wanted was for his son to make the NHL and play for them. It felt like it was never about fun, when it came to hockey it was almost like his childhood was not as easygoing anymore. His father would pressure and push him to become a very skilled hockey player against King's will. Any time King would speak to his father Harold about any passion outside of hockey he would be told it was a waste of time and that he should be focusing on what he is good for and that is to play hockey. King's relationship with his father began to deteriorate fast over time. King moved out of his parent's house at thirteen years old. It was like King was finally free from that pressure and that sport that made his life hard. King would not show up to his practices, he would do anything to be away from that house and more importantly away from hockey. King moved into his cousin Zachariah Kisslinger the former Prague Phantom and his Son Zach Kisslinger II of the Warsaw Predators house. this is where he learned that hockey could be fun and that you can be an amazing player without being pushed to your limits every day. Having these family members who played hockey at such a high level in the VHL and who could still have fun and treat it like you were playing as a kid for the first time really changed King Kisslinger's outlook on the game. He began to work hard on his own and he started to enjoy it. King Kisslinger felt off without having his father with him though. So before King entered into the OHL drafted he reached out to his father Harold. His father ended up seeing that his ways were more harmful and apologized for them so that helped fix their relationship. With all this pressure and learning, it did create a diamond. King Kisslinger would be drafted to the Erie Otters of the OHL and that is when he would be put on the map. OHL Career King Kisslinger came to play in the OHL. King Kisslinger was a 3rd round draft pick in the OHL drafted and it was the Erie Otters who were the lucky club to call his name. Erie has had some amazing players over the years, Mcdavid and Debrincat to name two and I don't think anyone on draft night would think King Kisslinger would eventually join the greats that were once Erie Otters. In his rookie season, he showed the world why he was going to be a problem with an impressive stat line of twenty-nine goals, and thirty-six assists for 58 points in 57 games. King Kisslinger went from a third-round pick in the OHL draft to top ten in rookie scoring in the same season. The Erie Otters named Kisslinger the team's rookie of the year. Erie made it to the playoffs but they lost in the second round to the London Knights. Kisslinger was forced out with an injury at the end of the regular season and did not play in the postseason. King Kisslinger in his sophomore season was a sight to behold. He became such a dominant player in just one year. King Kisslinger put up forty-six goals and sixty-four assists for one hundred ten points in sixty-one games played. The Erie Otters made the semi-finals and then again lost to London Kisslinger was named an assistant captain of the team this year. Kisslinger also made Team Canada for the world juniors and helped lead them to gold over Sweden, four-two. Kisslinger was finally on the map and the scouts were all over him. In King Kisslinger's last season with the Otters, he shattered records. Kisslinger had fifty-seven goals and seventy-two assists for one hundred twenty-nine points Kisslinger and the Erie Otters would finally win the club a championship, with Kisslinger being named playoff and league MVP and the CHL player of the year. Kisslinger had a choice to make after this season and it was to declare for the NHL entry draft or to join his cousins and go the VHL route, but only one person knew the choice he was going to make and it was King himself. VHLM Future King Kisslinger decided to go the family route and he chose the VHLM! Kisslinger signed a waiver deal with the Houston Bulls and is hoping to help bolster their push to win a championship, just like he did in Erie. Kisslinger does not know what his future holds in the VHLM and which team he will be playing for next but one thing that is for sure is that he will be putting his all into Houston to help them become the best and be the best. word count 911

1. I think our record will be 7-2-1, I think if we get hot we could win all ten! 2. I love being an underdog because it makes people respect you so much faster and more when you pull off that massive upset. It also puts us on the map for the future. 3. I do not care really what team picks me but I do want to be a first-round pick. I'm always excited and wherever I am I want to get the job done. 4. We can hope for the top 5, great accomplishment anyways so be proud! 5. I have a Belgian Malinois named Seeka and a Shiba named Sora. My family has a pet cat named Twix as well! 6. My work is pretty physical but I do try to get out and do things as much as possible but not a gym rat lol.

Hell yeah man, thanks for being the best defence a forward could ask for my man!!

King Kisslinger is ready to take over the VHLM! It has been a long harsh winter and all King Kisslinger has been doing is sitting in his royal castle waiting for this harsh winter to end. King Kisslinger did not like the winter and had no idea why people would like such miserable, cold, and just gross weather. King Kisslinger knew there had to be a reason for people to like the cold so King dug a little deeper and discovered the sport of ice hockey. King was amazed, he had no idea something so beautiful existed. The speed of the players skating, the big bone-crushing hits, and the way the arena EXPLODES when the home team scores. King Kisslinger finally knew why winter was amazing! Road to becoming a pro?? By no means was King Kisslinger a natrual when he first started to try to play hockey. I mean, he did nothing but sit in his castle all day and experience the best of the best. That was something King Kisslinger was used to, and you could tell by his reaction to how he was playing, He was not used to struggling and used to feeling helpless on the ice. He did not like this feeling, but it had awoken a beast inside this young man. Although during his time on the ice he was not having any fun, it was after the game that really changed his life. King Kisslinger felt like he finally had a point to live, a point to work towards to be better at something. King Kisslinger got addicated from one bad experience and was destined to make it better. He was set on becoming the best, maybe not the best player to ever live, but the best verison of himself. Practice makes Perfect right?? King Kisslinger decicated his life to hockey at this point, he was almost starting to forget he was a King. Kisslinger would spend countless hours watching tape, working out with the best trainers, hiring the best nutritionists from around the world and even playing some pick up games with some VHL and NHL legends. It was during this pick up game where one of the VHL legends encourged King Kisslinger to really push himself and see if he can make it to the VHL. KIng Kisslinger has had some super distant family memebers play in the VHL, he knew this was something that ran in his blood. Kisslinger finally had his goal in his sights and it was to try to be picked up by any of the VHLM teams, but he knew that would not be easy. There are a ton of super good prospects that are going to be working as hard as Kisslinger if not harder to make the league, Kisslinger knew he had this in the bag though. Sign the Dotted line Sir! It is official is right, After all that hard work and all those hours of blood sweet and tears, Kisslinger has signed his very first contract with the Houston Bulls of the VHLM. Kisslinger was so excited to get down to the warmer Texas weather than his seculded castle in the Canadian outback. Kisslinger knew that if he wanted to keep progressing he would have to keep grinding and keep working hard, maybe even harder to stay where he is. Kisslinger is locked and loaded and ready to help push the Bulls to the championship word count is like 560 something

1. Hell yeah, any moves the gm and the agm make have my support 100 %, when trying to win you do what you think will benefit the team! 2. Just try to get some more depth pieces for cheap, could get more recreates if possible! 3. I think it is a cool way to bring back legendary teams and players from the past and have these ideal matchups with the new-age teams. 4. I was in the locker room before, and I can say that already the environment has changed and that you two do a great job at leading the Bulls. 5. nah, getting a new job that is a week on a week off, tpe will get better on my end for sure! 6. I am a long island iced tea kinda guy if I order out, a good old Corona is nice too, but my favorite drink has to be poweraide

1. I think Cheese can def keep up this pace, gets a lot of ice time and when they're out there its always amazing hockey. I could see them finishing top 3 in defense points! 2. Just have to finish off and win those close games, too many games where we have so many shots but cant bury the final goals we need. 3. I think we will stay around four, maybe even get three of them. Hopefully Kisslinger continues but he would be the one that falls out. 4. Players getting older, we have had a pretty young team for a while and now the age is finally catching up lol. 5. I don't think so, just have to start winning games so im right hahaha 6. Games were pretty cool, events i wish they tried in and took it serious but its all in good fun.

1. I feel great, Old man Kisslinger is still kicking and showing some life out there. 2. Just have to play through those tough games and come back better, we are a top team and eventually we will be playing like it! 3. I would say 30 games into the season is when you have to make the choice on what to do. 4. Cheese, amazing pick up and it just bolsters our dline! 5. Like Payne train said, bobble head night, used to collect them. 6. I mean, it seems the fan vote didn't matter much but I'm cool with who ever they put, ill still watch.

1. Didn’t really pay much attention to it, but I’m pretty sure Canada came third so I’m happy for them! 2. I forgot to sign up this year, it is something i love to do, even though i just draft Warsaw players usually lol 3. I mean, it’s something that has to happen, can’t have the same players at the top always and players do get older so it’s alright. I really do like the VHLE, i am happy that it is getting some sort of focus/treatment!! 4. as long as the simmers and people who run the league need, life is busy and we can’t just drop everything for virtual hockey!! 5. Payne train for og player and cheese for new player, gotta show love to my defensemen! 6. Sometimes changes are needed and they can completely change a franchise, i think after a good 20-30 games is when if you’re going to make a coaching change, that’s when you should do it. Lots of time to embrace the tank or get a new coach that can change the vibe and environment.

That was so dope!! Proud to be the captain once again! Let’s go Warsaw!!

1. We have to keep pushing baby! We have to prove we are the best, finish on top on the regular season! Keep that momentum high and go back to back and win another Championship!! 2. I figured we would be a top 3 team, so I guess i could kind of seen this coming. When it comes down to it, i have faith in the team and the fans to help us win every game possible. 3. Have to give a speech as the captain, tell the team we are playing well and working hard. Trying to get the vibes up and let the team know we are the best! 4. Yeah I’m super excited for the NHL regular season!!! My favourite team is the Blackhawks and i don’t expect them to be toooooo great but not as bad as everyone thinks they are going to be, like i do not think we finish below Arizona lol. 5. I came back home and i have been chilling with my family and dog, it has been nice but almost ready to get back to my life again hahah 6. i think the family time and food is most important! happy thanksgiving to all celebrating!!!!

1. I would say us, we found the squad we know can win and we all have that chemistry and we all have that championship experience now. We are definitely a team to watch out for. 2. Depends, in real life, yeah, in the sim league no because it’s so unpredictable, like i was drafted at 14th and was the 2nd highest rookie scorer. 3. Moscow, something about them i just don’t like haha, always close games! 4. i was taking a leave from the league for a bit so i didn’t do them i don’t think lol. 5. i just copy people who always do good ahaha 6. I just invited my brother and my 2 good friends, was a great time and i got an assist!
