Warsaw's surprising season comes to an end with a sweep loss to the Moscow Menace. It was a pretty sad way to end our very good season, but we cannot just focus on that. We proved we could make it there and from now on out we only really get stronger. We had so many massive step-ups this season that showed us what next season could bring. We are constantly making small improvements to get us where I know we can be and that is all that matters. I am hoping for the team to retain some of the current players and also add on to make us just a bit better. I wouldn't mind if FA was our outlook but I hope people can see the vision here in Warsaw and jump on the wagon before it is too late. Sucks the season is over for us but now we work.

The Dark Horse Warsaw Predators
 
The Warsaw Predators over the last 5 seasons have had a tumultuous history to put it plainly. From their recent struggles to field star talent that takes over games to their depth issues that plagued potential playoff runs, this seasons Predators are an incredible group of players capable of exceeding all expectations. While the season winds down and playoff brackets and matchups are confirmed, Warsaw is looking to compete for decent placement in the standings on the backs of a trendy second half push. The offense has been tearing up defenses and goalies alike with big showings from the top 3 players on the team. Maxim Anisimov, King Kisslinger @Kisslinger, and Thor Reingaard @N0HBDY are all on pace for over 100 point seasons, with Kisslinger being on pace for over 70 assists, and Anisimov for 50 goals. This level of multiple players being able to bring big numbers to the score sheet across multiple lines has proven to be a great benefit to the scoring prowess of Warsaw, as they have two of the leagues top five scorers on the same line. 

The biggest note, however, would be their stellar defense and absolute shutdown goaltending. As of writing this media spot, Warsaw holds the second lowest Goals Against in the VHL with 172, 8 off from the league lead. Long time Davos goaltender Lachlan Summers @kirbithan became a Predator in S92's offseason, in a trade that sent a considerable amount of assets to Davos in exchange for Summers and a handful of depth draft picks. The trade appears to have paid off tremendously for Warsaw as Summers is in the running for multiple awards, including MVP and Best Goalie. With a performance in the crease like that, it's no wonder Warsaw is seeing success reflect back upon them in the standings and propel them up into a dark horse candidate consideration. 
 
Warsaw has it's work cut out for it despite this. They still struggle to keep the depth from letting up, and even their top line can give up a few special team goals that end up burning a loss onto the stat sheet, usually in a single goal difference. While the games independently aren't the end of the world for the Predators, they affect their position in the standings overall and can determine whether Warsaw gets the teams they want out of the seeding or not. Having a potent first line is always a must for any contender, and having a goalie capable of stealing games is always a bonus, but there are still issues that might arise in the playoffs that halt the Predators dead in their tracks should they not be given the proper attention. For this reason, I am confident that Warsaw has what it takes to be the dark horse of the playoffs, and make a little Cinderella run for the Cup. The issues are simple in nature to amend, but would putting a band-aid on those problems create new ones that the Preds need to take on for a deeper run, like broken line chemistry or Summers running out of gas? Only time will tell!

1. I think Ai can be an amazing tool, I don't think Ai should touch anything to in government positions lol, But I think having an AI assistant would be sweet.
2. Why not, I have never really played so why not give it a try!
3. Being active and trying ur best to earn as much as you can, some of the top players stat wise can have half the tpe the most has!

As I work in film this has been a hot topic for the last couple of years with opinions ranging from “we’re all fucked, it’s gonna replace us all” to “it’s fucking dumb and doesn’t stand a chance in creative fields.” On the whole I fall in the middle, I think it’s a useful tool in some circumstances but people need to not trust it too much. Ultimately it is easily mistaken and fooled because it’s pulling from incomplete information. As for specifics, I think stuff like coding can benefit from it greatly because it’s the kind of thing it understands well and you can save hours of debugging. As for what it should stay out of: almost anything creative. It’s a machine, it lacks creativity. All it can do is effectively copy and steal from others and badly mimic it. Useful as a planning tool for something maybe but not as an end product.

Well I first started in S1 when no one knew anything about any of the teams and also, I’ll be honest, most of the logos were fucking terrible ripoffs. With that said Amstel had the first pick so I was quite pleased to be taken with it haha.

Lately I have been experience really bad writers block and I cannot think of a different format on my media spots, and it’s hard for me to not talk about the same things but I feel like that’s understandable lol. Lately I have been talking about my players expectations and how i want him to perform, I’ll do interviews but i need to try to find a new way to talk about my player for these media spots. I know doing what i do gets the job done but i want to keep it interesting not only for myself but for the few readers I have. So today I’m gonna try something a little different and talk about some of my former players and where i was in the league during those times. Hopefully this is somewhat interesting and not a snooze fest.
 
Zachariah Kisslinger was my first player ever in the VHL, my friend was bugging me for weeks that i needed to try this league and he thinks I’d like it a lot. So in May of 2020 i decided to give it a go and created my first ever player, Zachariah Kisslinger. He was a max height defender, i made him a D man because the league needed some at the time. He was my “figure everything out player” although all i did was claim welfare, press conference and practice. It was my introduction to the league and it helped me get to know some of the people from around the league. I had a lot of fun on this character and it helped get the nerves out about being in a league with many new people. Without this player i don’t think I’d be where i am today in this league. He was a Prague lifer and an okay last line dman!
Zach Kisslinger II is the player that i went all in on for the first 7 seasons. I max updated every week, got my first AGM job and did everything i could to be the best player I could be. He has a retired jersey in Warsaw, and was the assistant captain and Captain for many seasons, won an award and a cup during my tenure there and it was such a good experience. I think this player could be in the hall of fame eventually, if he has won more personal awards he would have been no doubt. He was a Warsaw lifer and was the character where i finished learning most things about the league. I had some personal issues come up in his last few seasons and i didn’t update for months which may have caused his downhill play. 

King Kisslinger is what I’m hoping to be my perfect player. He has been very underwhelming in his early seasons and is having a current turnaround this season. The way he is playing is great right now, he is a pass first shoot later forward. He is lethal in the faceoff dot and is on the Warsaw Predators just like Zach Kisslinger II, he is currently signed to a 3 or 4 season deal with a full NTC! He is currently committed to bringing the cup back to Warsaw!
 
Hope this article was a little interesting, wanted to change it up like I said. I had to do it on my phone as I am back home for Easter and don’t have my set up here where i do my fancy articles!

King Kisslinger is starting to heat up and become the player he always wanted to be. He is almost consistently on the score sheet making an impact on every game he plays. It makes me feel good because all the updating has been worth it finally, i knew that eventually I’d take off and start dialling. It’s only a matter of time before i get recognition as one of the best players in the league, it is coming and it is coming fast. Warsaw has been playing very well and keeping games close against top teams and sometimes even beating them, our goalie has been insane and the big three have been doing well. Our depth pieces have also been playing well, they even stole us a game the other day by popping off which was awesome to see, at the end of the day I’m excited to see all our hard work slowly paying off!

I've managed to go almost every day I've had free since January (which wasn't a resolution, just when that started happening). I've been through phases of being active, or not, over the past couple years and this is the longest I've gone with that being the case. That usually means at least 4-5 times a week, if not more often when no one wants to do things with old Gustav.
 
I like to think I look better in the mirror although I think the differences are mostly only noticeable to myself at the moment. It's really shown itself quantitatively in what I've been able to lift and how that's improved recently. Just about everything I do is a notch or two higher than where it was in January and it doesn't feel any harder.
 
Where I come up a bit short is with the structure. I don't know anything about (nor do I trust myself with) free weights, and because I go by myself and the place is completely empty late at night, I just stick to the machines. Hit everything we have that works with a specific group and then run a mile on the treadmill if it wasn't just leg day. Which I'm sure is fine; it just isn't "optimized" in the ways some nerds like. I also don't ever weigh myself or monitor what I eat (even though I'm sure those things would be helpful). But I'm OK with that--what I do works for what I want it to do, which is to make me feel good about myself. I'm not here to get huge or to impress people, and I'm glad I don't have to think that way to get going.

Ive been hitting it pretty hard for last few months which is easier in the winter since it's rainy and cold where I am mostly.  We have a full gym in the garage that includes rower, skier, punching bag, assault bike, peloton treadmill, rack with weights, and dumbbells.  Wife is a fitness nutter so even when I am lazy she drags my ass out there.  Been lifting pretty steady, like 4-5 days a week, but cardio has taken a backseat.  Need to balance both and would like to drop about 5lbs by summer.  

With 2 kids and thus way less time to focus on me I hit the heaviest I’d ever been back in November. Been trying to eat better and hit up the gym 3x a week since then. I’m not perfect every week but I’m trying.
 
So far only down about 10lbs but given that things feel as if they fit better I have to assume some of that is also muscle growth.

1. I like pringles, always solid and never too expensive
2. can open bottles with pretty well anything lol If you could call that a trick

King Kisslinger has been having a very relaxing week, not much has happened here in Warsaw. I feel like everyone is waiting for the regular season to return as is King Kisslinger. I am looking forward to the Sims and the league becoming more lively again. I am anxious to see how King and the Preds are going to perform. In real life, I have been pretty tired as of late. I'm not too fond of the time changes and they throw me off because it feels so late so fast. The only good part will be that my shifts at work will feel faster and that the regular season return will feel faster too. Lately, I have been having writer's block because nothing has been popping off for my player or myself. I hate doing my free weeks so early but you do what you have to do to max earn and try to be the best player you can be.

What an up-and-down season for King Kisslinger as he had moments of glory and failure. It was an interesting season, to say the least with his performance. Linemate changes, and poor team performance one night can take a toll on individual performance. Was this season a complete right-off? No, I don't think so. We had many team highs and many team lows but these are all things that happen with a rebuilding team. I think next season King Kisslinger will have his best season yet. He will be the number one center on the team this upcoming season and he will have new and improved stats to go along with this opportunity. I think his other two linemates will uplift his stats this upcoming season as they are super dialed in and on the path to superstardom. These next few seasons are hit or miss for King Kisslinger before I hit panic mode.
