Just for the sake of transparency when I record (since I will be dodging billets and such while recording haha) do you mean the VHLM draft, this season’s VHL draft, or next season’s VHL draft where you (and I, and a bunch of others) are located?

You can add the flair to it however you’d like. Kendrick liked doing it with GFXbut it isn’t necessary. So long as you can make it look decent (however you choose) and be interesting that’s all that matters.

Those S61 1st’s could be huge for Riga if the draft pans out even half as well as it’s looking.

With all the influx of new members to the VHLM it’s about time we brought back the VHL Prospect Rankings. @Kendrick used to do these before moving onto the recruitment team role he has now and the position has been vacant ever since. Whomever gets the position could put their own spin on it but Kendrick’s looked like this. You would be in charge of creating the prospect rankings however frequently you deem fitting. I believe the standard was 4 times per season so every 2 weeks. Pay is 3 TPE per article plus it counts as your weekly PT.

Hard to say. Obviously with every player I would like to have more success than in the past but my last few have been disappointing a little. Holik had great numbers but could never bring home the cup. Sokolov also couldn’t bring home the cup but was even worse with kinda mediocre numbers. Obviously with Thompson I would like to have things work out better than they have been lately. Stick with it. The VHL can be very confusing at first. There’s a lot going on and especially if you are new to sim leagues it can be very over-whelming at first. There’s plenty of people here to help you put though. I promise if you stick with it you’ll find yourself a new hobby you can enjoy. I’ve been in leagues for probably close to 15 years now with the VHL taking almost 11 of those. You do get hooked. There’s nothing really that I have NEVER achieved; I mean an MVP or playoff MVP I guess but that’s wishful thinking since I don’t tend to do much individual award wise. However with this being my 10th player and only have one in the HoF it would obviously be nice to get another one in. I mean we aren’t really which is why I didn’t mention it. You’re S60, I’m S61. Unless you just mean prospects in the sense that we’re both in the VHLM. In which case, yes, that is accurate and indeed kind of fun. I look forward to being destroying you in the future I did, I was not pleased. You guys definitely fought a lot more than anyone was expecting you to fight and you made it interesting. Annoying for me because I didn’t want interesting, I wanted an easy win; but the best team won out eventually anyway haha Probably being named to the Builder HoF. Getting a player into the hall is always great but to get in as a builder kinda meant more because it didn’t just mean I figured out how to make a player the sim engine liked. It meant that I contributed important stuff to the VHL as a member. It definitely felt great.

Moved it over to the press conferences since it contains questions, that way you and them can both claim some points for it. Not showing up in more is probably just it getting buried with all the new created players and stuff. Not much we can really do about that unfortunately.

No problem, we’re here to help. I’ve been with this site since day 1 (almost 11 years ago) so things definitely come with time; just a matter of getting used to it. Especially if you’ve never been in a sim league before. If you have any questions just ask; plenty of people around will help you out.

Welcome! Everything looks to be done correctly (though i only count 22 TPE spent out of the starting 30) but I will give a piece of advice as someone who has been around awhile: I wouldn’t spread points out so much. By all means you can build however you’d like but our sim engine definitely favours certain stats as well as he fact that adding 1-5 TPE into something doesn’t do much. In any case, there’s plenty of people around willing to help you out if you have any questions and if you’d like to build balanced that’s enirely possible to do!

The one with Sokolov was good at was winning Founder’s Cups.

Was his son dying common knowledge? I hadn’t heard about it. Mind you I’m pretty disconnected. If it was then I actually kinda agree with you (shocking I know). That’s definitely plenty of reason to miss some games.
