Colorado? Say what?
Im guessing you must mean Cologne, we probably used the same shortened version. He also wasn’t traded, the team folded when we went back down to 8. Don’t expect you to know that mind you.
Yeah, Ironside goes straight to Toronto. Boeser was his GM player and he retired at pre-season. So just @street and I to deal with.
I wouldn’t imagine that I’m competition for first overall really. It would be my first player to go in that position since S1 so I think I’ve been forever cursed to never be drafted first again.
Should be a fun draft though. They created a bit later so their levels of TPE aren’t as high (dollar did as well but he’s been killing it) but I believe @Will and @Devise are in the same class as well.
The Ottawa Lynx have played the fewest games of any VHLM team (20, tied with Vegas) but in those games their top line left wing and defender have been meshing very well. Samuel Gate and Matt Thompson come from two of the oldest VHL agencies (Streetlight and Beketo respectively) and have thus far been proving that they’ve got a good grasp of how the game is played on a VHL I’ve surface.
”It’s been great to be on a team with all these guys but I know Sam and I have been really clicking well on the ice. If anything we’re clicking a little oddly in that I’m usually setting him up instead of the other way around but as long as he points are flowing I won’t conplain.”
Gate currently has the most points for the Lynx with 26 through 20 games. Thompson is not far behind in second with 23. The Lynx currently sit second in the league, 1 point behind the Oslo Storm with 3 games in hand.
I don’t overly care @diamond_ace but just curious why I’m set so far down the shootout order. Pretty sure I have the highest scoring of anyone in the team.
1. Just because everyone else does it doesn’t mean it’s better. I’ve been of the mindset since the league started that organizationally speaking it makes far more sense for the announcements on the top and the locker rooms on the bottom. It’s not like they are buried in subforums, it’s literally just a bit of scrolling. 3/4 of the time I just use the “unread posts” feature anyway and I think most do the same. I only navigate the board itself when looking for something.
3. I haven’t seen them yet, no one has given me access to one and I’ve been too busy to go figure it out myself. By @Will‘s description they should be more or less normal forums though.
It’s been proven before that second line can help numbers. You tend to be up against weaker opponents since everyone’s top players are on line 1. Makes sense.
1. It has been proven in the past people will scroll to get to locker rooms, it’s not a big deal. They didn’t suddenly become alive being at the top. Bottom has always made more sense.
2. Once everything is set up and important topics are moved we’ll remove (or likely just hide) the original locker rooms so there won’t be two.
3. Locker Rooms were based on permissions. Each team had permissions so that you could say “X member can see Y forums.” The only place you can set this is the admin CP though. We’d need to give all GM’s access to the admin CP to give them control but that also introduces the problem that there’s no way to set which members they can access.
Locker rooms have always belonged at the bottom. Back in my day we had to use this thing called a scroll! *grumble grumble* damn kids.
Also let me back in Toronto, I wanna come hang out.
Sidnt thwy have to be in their own section at the time though? This new update you get all the conveniences of a normal locker room while being able to have GM’s control access. Win-win
I'm back after taking a bit of a CoDCasting break to answer some questions that are like 2 weeks old from @Beaviss, @dea5shot, @Quik, and @Banackock. 1 gun off of Chrome so trying to get that gun unlocked.
Well that’s gonna be a potential issue come next round haha.
Also can we talk about the Knights for a minute? Everyone in here predicting SJ made me think I was crazy for putting the Knights and they come out and win 7-0; haven’t lost yet in the playoffs. These guys are fucking nuts.
And I’m not supposed to be passing this much, apparently the sim likes messing with our builds. 80 scoring and 40 passing and I become a playmaker haha
