Thanks for the chance to lead, I’ll do my best not to let you down. I’m not normally a captain, in fact I’m not sure I ever have been, but it’s a role I embrace.

Didn’t get all my stats back but got my main three (scoring, skating, PH) back up to 99 which is what matters most. I’ll leave my passing down like I did last season since I think my scoring will probably be more important and having them both maxed tended to make me less likely to do either.

I kinda figured it was coming when we started heavily looking at STZ and boom. Was only a matter of time. Glad I could at least get the cup here. I definitely appreciate Calgary for showing me that kind of player that I’m capable of being with the right group of guys.

4 teams in 4 seasons. Hopefully I can finally settle down here for my last two haha.

As much as I would have liked to stay in Calgary I did expect this to happen, it wasn't a big shock for me. I do want to thank them for the season though. Not just for the cup but for showing me the kind of player that I'm capable of being after a few seasons of pretty terrible production. Hopefully I can bring what I learned with me to Cologne.

And yes Kendrick, I did indeed find my way back haha. Even when Draper traded me from Helsinki he asked where I wanted to go an I said Cologne. Not that I didn't enjoy my time with the Legion and Wranglers, I did, but I wanted to see what I could do in Cologne with a bit better of a player.
