    1. How do you feel our season will go after our strong draft?

    2. What did you think about our plentiful trades made during the draft?

    3. If you were drafted, did you go higher or lower than you were expecting?

    4. Other than yourself, which player on Halifax are you most excited for?

    5. Who do you think our main rival will be this season?

    6. What sort of build are you going for with your player?

    7. What are your goals this season as a player?

    8. Where do you predict Halifax will finish in the standings?

    9. Who's your favorite NHL team?

    10. How do you pronounce "garage?" Is it Guh-raj or Ga-ridge?

    1. I'm feeling extremely confident. I am really, really happy to be here. I think we have a strong chance to come out as one of the best teams in the league.

    3. I went higher! I thought I might get in the top 10. Top 5 was a big surprise for me, it showed me that I must be doing something right.

    5. My personal rival will be the Las Vegas Aces. I loved being over there, but now it's time to kick their asses :)

    6. I am trying to make an all around forward. I like scoring, but setting up my teammates is the most fun to me. To roughly paraphrase what Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets says, "Scoring makes one person happy, assists make two."

    7. I want to top my point total of last year. I had a really strong rookie season with a nearly even 48-45 distribution of goals and assists, so I want to keep that rate, just at a higher total.

    10. Guh-raj. Who the hell is saying Ga-ridge if you aren't from Europe? I'm southern as hell, so it comes out with a reaaaal draw too.

    1. A brief look back at the playoffs. What did you think about the Minnesota series?

    2. Looking back a bit further, reflect upon your season. How do you think this season went for you?

    3. If you had any goals for yourself, did you meet them?

    4. Las Vegas was honored to have so many active players on the team. Who was someone on the team who you loved to be around and chat with?

    5. With the upcoming VHL draft, and most of you eligible, which team would you like to play for?

    6. What was your favorite moment this season on Las Vegas?

    1. I'm disappointed. I could have played so much better than I did, and I feel like I let the guys down.

    2. Before the postseason, I had as good a rookie season as I could as for. I scored a ton, got loads of assists, so I feel good about it. I hope to just keep improving and make that be my worst season.

    3. I did. I wanted to be a positivr impact on the team. I feel like I was able to accomplish that.

    4. Everyone. I love our locker room. It's a hell of a group, and I got a little busy irl with work, but I kept up reading and chatting when I could. I really like our team.

    5. I have no idea. I haven't even considered anything like that. I've just been keeping my head down and working.

    6. One of my hat tricks. Those felt pretty damn good.

    1. As the regular season wraps up, what are your hopes for LVA come playoff time?

    2. Who do you think will win the VHL playoffs this year?

    3. Have you ever been to a casino IRL? If not do not let this question sway you into going.

    4. Be honest with me, since joining LVA have you turned into a gambling addict?

    5. Most likely our first round in the playoffs will be against MIN, do you have any trash talk for them you'd like to share?

    6. Who wears the pants in the relationship, @Spartan or @fishy?

    1. We're going to win it all. We've developed internally at such a high level, we have an insanely deep team. I have full faith in whatever line we throw out, that I really do think we can make a deep run.

    2. Well uh.. I just.. okay. I think we can take home the title this year. Like I said above, we are one of the deeper teams out there in my opinion. We have a strong chance to surprise some other great teams.

    3. Yes I have, it was a pretty fun time. But holy shit the smell is exactly what you would expect. Smoke, smoke, smoke. It doesn't bother me too much, until I started getting a headache. It was still a pretty fun time, though. Would go again (when I ain't a broke mf).

    4. Well uh... maybe uh...

                                                                     ...yes.

    5. Nah, I want to let my play do the talking. I'm too small to get my face caved in for talking shit my rookie season.

    6. Lmao fishy. Gotta be. There is no other answer.

    1. This week is theme week, what do you think of the theme chosen?

    2. A lot of you are rookies right now, but have any other cool build ideas ever came into your mind?

    3. If both @Spartan and I had to recreate and sign with Vegas right now, what position do you think we should play?

    4. Which is the superior food: Nachos or Burritos?

    5. If you went camping with the team and had to venture into the woods, who would you bring with you to protect you from bears?

    6. What team is your favorite NHL team, or if you don't have one who would you like to support in the playoffs this year?

    1. It's a fun idea! It's hard for me to think of recreates as a new player, I feel like there is still a lot to learn about the sim engine before I know what's what.

    2. Since my current build is more skilled and a scorer, I would gravitate towards a defenseman. Just a massive max weight bowling ball.

    3. I mean... we're doing fine without you... so........ lmao jk make a RW and C so we can be a line together ❤

    4. Oh no... I love both of those. I think I would have to go burrito. Breakfast burritos tip the scale.

    5. I would bring Twistyboi and make sure he goes first.

    6. The Colorado Avs. Playing insane and have been hella fun to watch.

    1. All of you have been doing great earning TPE and producing for the team, what's magic ingredient here?

    2. When the season started Miami looked like the easy favorites, but now they seem beatable. How close do you think the VHLM playoff race will be?

    3. This one has been going around twitter lately. Pick 2 to defend you from the rest: 50 hawks, 10 crocodiles, 10,000 rats, 3 grizzly bears, 7 bulls, 1 human hunter, 15 wolves, 5 gorillas, or 4 lions. Explain your 2 picks.

    4. Does anyone ever want to play CS:GO or Valorant with me? It's lonely solo queuing :(

    5. Would you rather take more money and play for a worse team, or less money and play for a team that has a shot at the cup?

    6. What is your favorite part of being on LVA?

    1. We have a really good coaching staff that keeps us all updated on how when to earn, and help us with our goals. They've been really helpful for me, at least.

    2. It definitely will be a lot closer than a lot assumed. Just taking a glance at how close the standings are near the top, it's clear anyone could make a run for the title this year.

    3. 5 Gorillas and 10,000 Rats. Rats are fuckin disgusting too, but there's no way anyone is stopping that many of them if they're also worried about 5 silverbacks.

    4. If my PC didn't die long ago, I would bb.

    5. Less money, championship. For sure. Money comes and goes, that title goes down in history forever.

    6. I really love the LR. Everyone is constantly joking around and having a great time. I like all my teammates and my coaches as well, we have a solid group together right now.

  7. Welcome to ESPN 11 Radio, covering the newest sports leagues across the globe! Today, we are taking a look at the VLHM, the Victoy Hockey League Minors. Specifically, the Las Vegas Aces have started to get their stride. Winning their last 3 games in a row, we decided to take a deeper look at the team. Today, we have left winger Kasey Tamm to answer a few quick questions. Thanks for joining us Kasey!

Kasey Tamm: Of course! Thanks for having me on.

ESPN: You have had an impressive run, winning your last 3 in a row, one of which where you gave Miami their first loss. How was that possible?

Tamm: We had an incredible day from Nils Friedriksen. He was a straight up brick wall out there. They had to pull out all the stops and use all their tricks to get one goal against him, he was on fire. It was a massive team effort to get that win, though. On our two goals, we had 6 points spread across 6 different members of the team. It doesn't get any better than that.

ESPN: It's true that that game against Miami was a team effort, but you have been having a surprisingly strong rookie campaign. You're tied for 2nd on your team in points at 19, only one behind top 10 scorer Gary Rush. How does it feel to be producing at this level already?

Tamm: It does feel pretty good. I have been getting some quality minutes, and coach has trusted me to give me a green light to score. I am more happy with my passing numbers than anything. As a younger player, I had always been a scorer, but the passing has really developed here in Las Vegas. It's hard for it not to with all the talent we have. I'm pretty happy with my performance so far, but a -4 in the plus/minus isn't going to cut it long-term. I need to get better on both ends, fast.

ESPN: Well, you heard it here first. He is not satisfied. We look forward to seeing how Tamm and the Aces continue to play throughout the season.

    1. Spartan surprised us with a bunch of new recruits for this season via free agency. How do you think this will benefit our team?

    2. Would you rather give @fonziGG more hits or let Vegas win more games? (this is a tough one I know)

    3. What is your favorite activity to do outside of hockey?

    4. Do you think we should be higher or lower in the standings, or are we just right?

    5. Do you know what a pierogi is, and if not why have you never eaten this delicious polish delicacy?

    6. The Aces are tied in the 3rd period with 30 seconds on the clock. You managed to get a breakaway, what is your go-to dangle to win the game?

    1. We have a plethora (damn look at that word) of young talent thanks to his recruiting. We are a very active group so far, and I think we'll surprise some people.

    2. Sorry Fonz... need these dubs bud.

    3. I like playing video games, reading, and eating. Eating is probably my favorite activity lowkey though.

    4. Right now, I can't complain about where we are. Our schedule was TOUGH to open up this season, but after playing the defending champions 3 times in 6 games, we have been winning a lot of games.

    5. God damn it this is targeted you fucker

...I don't know what a pierogie is but based on the reaction last time I said that, I'm missing out.

  9. Kasey Tamm grew up in Oslo, Norway, and always had a strong love for hockey. Oslo was a booming hockey city, boasting their own professional club, Tamm's favorite childhood team, Furuset Ishockey. KT was always a natural athlete, and he had already played football, baseball, and basketball before his 13th birthday. Hockey was by far the most competitive sport in the region, and Kasey had only played hockey for fun before high school. His friends all urged him to try out for the high school team, as he was consistently outperforming older players in their pickup games. Tamm agreed, but had no idea the journey that he was about to embark upon.

Tamm had an abundance of natural ability. He was also an extremely smart kid, and had picked up a lot of details of the game just from watching Furuset since birth. Once he started his young high school career and received actual coaching, his abilities started to shine. While he did not get much ice time as a freshman, Tamm was one of two sophomores to play consistent minutes. By the end of that year, KT has solidified his spot as a 1st line wing. His scoring ability was unmatched across the league, and his control of the puck was something to behold. His stick truly seemed to be an extension of his body. His final year of high school, Tamm scored a ridiculous 52 goals to go along with 23 assists, totaling a whopping 75 points. He was by far the best high school player in his area.

But Tamm dreamed bigger. The VHL had always been a dream, but an unrealistic one. As a player that did not play real organized hockey more than five years, Tamm could have been a massive bust. Instead, he put in loads of work, day in and day out. During his final season, he grew as a scorer, but more importantly developed his secondary skills to a much higher level. KT grew as a playmaker, and also a defender. He put in extra hours of time after practices just skating, developing his speed and endurance. As his senior season started to wind down, Tamm had accepted that this would likely be the end of his young career. What he did not expect was to go viral on TSN as well as ESPN after scoring six goals in one game to go with an assist. After his great showing, multiple VHLM GMs started to take notice. He has since moved to the United States, and looks forward to making his mark in the VHL sooner rather than later.

  10. I really like this graphic, and it is almost perfect to me. It's a good render that might have been blurry or could have had rough edges, but you did a good job with the effets to minimize how much that stands out. The background is pretty solid, nothing too busy and the render is the center of attention. The font is great, and the color works perfectly. It all goes together very well. My only issue is the effect on his face seems to take down the quality overall by quite a large margin. If he was a little more clear, it would be perfect.

    @Steve

  11. I really like this graphic as a whole! Very good job cutting out your render, I don't see any jagged edges and it is a great, clear image. I like the background, a pretty solid design and a good use of transparency with the logo to keep the render as the center of attention and pop. I like the text and font choice, but the first name is a little tough to see due to its color and font. Good use of color to stay cohesive.

    1. This week marks the start of the VHLM season, who would you like to be your linemates?

    2. On a weirdness scale where would you rate your GM @Spartan from 1 to 10?

    3. How have you adjusted to life now living in Las Vegas?

    4. What is your definition of "winning" when it comes to hockey and the VHLM?

    5. What is your hot take for this VHLM season?

    6. There's 2 minutes left in a hockey game and you're the top line center. You know you're probably going to have to play about 1:30 of that 2 minutes, but you have to take a dump really really bad. What's the move?

    1. Oh man, I just got into the locker room so I haven't had a chance to get to see how well I play with certain guys. But I would have to say Sandstrom and Waters. I have a good feeling about what we could do together.

    2. Compared to the assistant GM, like a 2 or 3 MAX.

    3. I uh... I lost $1000 within minutes of getting into the first casino. True story. But other than that, I'm enjoying my time so far in the city.

    4. I want to be a champion at every level. I think winning means getting to that highest tier of success.

    5. Kasey Tamm ROTY

    6. Guess I'll shit my pants chief. You fuckin' degen ?
