    VHLE Power Rankings Introduction

Hello everyone and welcome to the VHLE S83 Pre-Season Power Rankings! I'll be trying to do these every week, or every other week. The first Power Rankings is going to be purely stats based. I mainly took all the averages of the stats, did some calculations, and this is what I ended up coming up with. I'll be going over every team in the VHLE this week and where I think their strengths/weaknesses are, and a couple key players for each of the teams. I'm going to explain how I got some of the calculations first before I end up starting the rankings, so please read below:

Overall Offense Rating: The Overall Offense Rating was calculated taking the "SCO" and "PAS" attributes of every single player on the roster. First, I ended up taking the "SCO" attribute of every player, added them up, and averaged the number. I did the exact same for the "PAS" attribute. I then averaged the two together, and that's how I got the Overall Offense Rating! (SCO OF EVERY PLAYER)/(NUMBER OF PLAYERS) and (PAS OF EVERY PLAYER)/(NUMBER OF PLAYERS). Then (ANS FOR FORMULA 1 + ANS FOR FORMULA 2)/(2).
Overall Defense Rating: The Overall Defense Rating was calculated taking the "DEF" attribute of every single player on the roster. I just ended up taking the "DEF" attribute of every player, added them up, and averaged the number. Since there was only one attribute I took into account, I didn't need to add them together and divide to find the average! (DEF OF EVERY PLAYER)/(NUMBER OF PLAYERS).
Overall Goaltending Rating: The Overall Goaltending Rating was calculated taking the "SZ", "AG", "RB", "SC", "HS", and "RT" attribute of every single goalie on the roster. I could go through on every single attribute how I got them, but I basically just added the averages of the one/two goalies, then added the averages of the ratings together and divided it by the number of attributes, which in this case was 6! That is how I ended up getting the Overall Goaltending Rating! This takes too long to explain, but basically the Overall Offense Rating formula, but for "SZ, AG, RB, SC, HS, RT" and then the answers of those dividing by the number of attributes, which is 6 to get the answer.

If you need a better explanation, as I'm not the best at explaining things, let me know.

Let's finally get to the VHLE Power Rankings, shall we?

    1. Vasteras Iron Eagles

    Overall Offense Rating: 61.35 (1st)
    Overall Defense Rating: 68.5 (1st)
    Overall Goaltending Rating: 73.5 (1st)

Alright, on paper and with the calculations and everything, this team is absolutely stacked. You'd hope the team that had a ton of picks in this draft would be one of the best teams going into the season, and well, they lead every single category. Leading the charge at the forward position is going to be @Grape, joined by @eagle_3450 and @leandrofg who should have fantastic seasons in the E as well. This team has a ton of talent on the offensive front, having a score first mentality and I could see multiple members putting up high goal numbers. As for the defensive side, this team seems to have more defensive defenseman, focusing on protecting the net instead of joining the rush. It's tough to say who will be the leader defensively, as every single one of their defenseman is around the same skill level, but @Spence King has the best defense on the team, at a whopping 80. He'll be backstopping a tough defensive team that'll be hard to enter their zone defensively, and honestly the best defensive core in the league. In between the pipes, they have @Lilpfigher who will be looking to lead this team to success. This team has fantastic goaltending overall and they've got a clear starter and backup. Personally, I expect this team to be a top three team and anything less from this team would be an absolute disaster of a season.

    2. Stockholm Vikings

    Overall Offense Rating: 58.09 (2nd)
    Overall Defense Rating: 59.18 (3rd)
    Overall Goaltending Rating: 73.25 (T-2nd)

Up next on the rankings coming in second place is going to be the Stockholm Vikings. Stockholm has the best scorers in the league, despite their offense rating coming in second. This team is loaded with deadly snipers that given an opportunity, will find the back of the net. Leading the offensive powerhouse is @FBR who is coming off of a 27 goal season, with 79 points. He has a ton of talent joining him, and I can't list them all, as this forward core is absolutely loaded and can give Vasteras a run for their money. On the back-end defensively, and honestly in my eyes, one of the best defenseman in the league is @LuluSalesAway. This player has high defensive capabilities and also can join the rush, a perfect two-way defenseman that the Stockholm Vikings need to help power their offense minded team. In the crease, this team has two solid goalies, @Joker_TM and @Tendy who they'll have to decide which one will be their starter and which one will be their backup. Regardless, having competition is a good thing and Stockholm Vikings should be vying for the top of the league at the end of the season!

    3. Istanbul Red Wolves

    Overall Offense Rating: 56.44 (5th)
    Overall Defense Rating: 60.8 (2nd)
    Overall Goaltending Rating: 70 (7th)

Slotting in the third place spot on the rankings is the Istanbul Red Wolves. It's honestly tough, because the top two teams in my eyes are very far ahead of the pack that it's tough to say who is going to come into third place. Regardless, I'm going to go with the Istanbul Red Wolves. On the offensive front, this team is led by @LeBron Jamezz. Last season, he put up 31 goals and 67 points, having an exceptional season for the Red Wolves. This team also had a ton of picks in the recent draft, and are adding players like @Brandon and @jacobcarson877 on offensive front who should help the team tremendously. Also, one thing I want to point out is @jacobcarson877 build, in which he has 80 defense! He'll be a key piece to the team defensively, which helps me pivot into the next talking point for the team, defense! This team is absolutely loaded defensively, having the second best defense rating in the entire VHLE. The funny thing is, yes, most of the defenseman on this team are somewhat defensively focused, but the forwards are helping out the team defensively too. One player I want to talk about is @der meister, who was drafted 3rd overall and will be helping to protect the net this season. He's a fantastic addition to the team, and it's going to be very hard to find ways to score on this team. Last up, we have the goaltending for Istanbul. You might be thinking, wow, this team is ranked 7th at goaltending, they must not have good goaltending! Let me stop you there. The difference between 1st and 7th on the rating scale is only an average of 3.5 higher in each stat, so even though they are ranked 7th, there are a lot of teams very close in the ratings for goalies. @npuBeT will be the starter this season for the Red Wolves and he'll do a lot of the heavy lifting, as the Wolves will need solid goaltending to be able to go on a run this season. Regardless, this team should be a playoff team and anything less then that is a failure.

    4. Bratislava Watchmen

    Overall Offense Rating: 57.77 (3rd)
    Overall Defense Rating: 59 (4th)
    Overall Goaltending Rating: 70.25 (6th)

Coming in at fourth on the rankings is the Bratislava Watchmen. I honestly could see this team being flip-flopped with the Istanbul Red Wolves, as I think this team is a little bit more well rounded then the Wolves, but the Wolves are more specialized in defense. Moving on though, Bratislava is no slacker when it comes to scoring, as they have multiple players who can put the puck into the back of the net. The best person to do so on this roster is @ng1291, who will be having his rookie season with the Watchmen, so all eyes are going to be on him. He'll also have @Dtayl helping him out, feeding him the puck all day, so we'll see what @ng1291 will be able to achieve this season with the Watchmen. Moving onto defense, this team is around average defensively, however they did pick up @BOOM, who is an absolute steal for the Watchmen in the draft. He was the leading scorer defensively in the VHLM last season, and he'll be looking to continue his dominance here in the E for a season. I think @BOOM is going to be one of the best defenseman in the league offensively, and he'll be helping to aid the team by putting the puck into the back of the net. Last, we have goaltending, which for sure is going to be led by @Donno100. The problem that arises with me for this team, is that their backup is in my eyes, a little bit below average skill wise, so I think @Donno100 is going to do a lot of the heavy lifting for the team. Honestly, I can see this team sliding into the top four very easily and I think a potential run in the playoffs as a dark horse is a very realistic possibility.

    5. Cologne Express

    Overall Offense Rating: 54.47 (7th)
    Overall Defense Rating: 58.78 (5th)
    Overall Goaltending Rating: 70.17 (5th)

Up next on the list, coming in at fifth is the Cologne Express. Honestly, this team seems like a pretty solid middle of the pack team. I feel like to be considered a potential contender this season, you're going to have to take down the Cologne Express, otherwise they'll gatekeep you from doing so. Offensively, this team is a bit lacking though according to the rating system. They have some solid superstar players, in @Johnny_HX and @Komaryk. I will say that personally, I think the rating system does this team dirty, because they have a ton of solid players offensively, and despite being ranked 7th, I feel like their offense is much better then it actually shows. The forwards for this team are fairly good, and they have solid depth, so I really personally don't think the rating offensively is correct for this team. Defensively, I feel like this team has some solid options too. Led by @ColeMrtz, the defensive core this team has put together is pretty solid. One thing I might think that is influence the offense rating, is the fact that this teams defensive core is extremely defensive minded, and they don't have much offense upside. Last, in between the pipes for this team is @Jericho who will be a solid starter, and @NickSunderbruch backing him up. I think this team has a great starter and backup, and in my eyes, this team is extremely underrated in the ratings. I could very well see this team potentially making a run in the playoffs honestly, despite their ratings being a little lower then most teams.

    6. Geneva Rush

    Overall Offense Rating: 57 (4th)
    Overall Defense Rating: 54.3 (7th)
    Overall Goaltending Rating: 73.25 (T-2nd)

Coming in at sixth on the rankings is the Geneva Rush. This team is down lower on the list for a reason, that I'll get to in a bit. First up, we have is the offense, which is sitting ranked at fourth in the league, around average. However, the more I look at this team offensively, it seems they really only have @PoignardLeclerc11 leading the charge, and they seriously lack some firepower in the league. This team has offensive depth, don't get me wrong, but they are lacking some firepower that I personally think will be the reason why they slide a bit further down in the rankings, but this isn't really the teams biggest problem, that's what I'm going to talk about next. Next up, is the teams defense, which is going to be their Achilles heel. This team doesn't have a superstar defenseman, and defensively, a lot of their defenseman have opted for more offensively minded builds, which is why their offense is rated higher. The best defensive minded defenseman they have is @Strider, who is going to have to do a lot of heavy lifting for the team defensively, as teams will find scoring opportunities against the Rush. This team will score a lot of goals, but they're also going to let in a lot of goals. Last, the teams shining bright spot is their goaltending. This team despite having not the best defensive core still has exceptional goalies backstopping them. With probably the best 1A-1B duo in the league, @dustywilson22 and @Thunderidge will be looking to split time this season and attempt to try to carry this team to a potential playoff spot. In my eyes, I don't see this team being a contender, or doing too much this season, but I still think there is a small possibility they make playoffs and make some noise!

    7. Rome Gladiators

    Overall Offense Rating: 55.07 (6th)
    Overall Defense Rating: 52 (8th)
    Overall Goaltending Rating: 70.33 (4th)

Up next on the list is the Rome Gladiators, who slide into seventh place on the rankings. The reason these two teams are at the bottom, Rome Gladiators and Oslo Storm is because they are lacking complete rosters. I ended up not factoring in the bot's attributes in the rating system, otherwise Rome and Oslo would most likely be 7th/8th in every single rating. Regardless, Rome comes in with a very young lineup into the VHLE this season, and I fully expect them to be rebuilding. Offensively, they have a bunch of players who did great in the VHLM, names like @chikn and @NJDevils24. The biggest concern I have with this team offensively, is that they really lack any star player and while they have some depth, they really can't compete with some of the top teams at all and will get out played almost every night. Defensively, this team literally only currently has one rostered defenseman, that being @youloser1337. I guess there's nothing else to talk about on the defensive front, as they only have one defenseman! The best part about this team is their goalie, but again, they currently only have a single goalie on their roster, that being @G_Rush. We'll see what this team has planned for this season and if they can attempt to fill roster spots, but in my eyes this team is going to be at the bottom of the league and will not make it into the playoffs.

    8. Oslo Storm

    Overall Offense Rating: 52.9 (8th)
    Overall Defense Rating: 54.6 (6th)
    Overall Goaltending Rating: 66.67 (8th)

Sadly, someone has to sit at the bottom of the rankings, and coming in at eighth place is the Oslo Storm. Just like the Gladiators, this team doesn't have a full roster, and I must remind you that I didn't factor in the bot's attributes into the rating system. Let's talk about the team that they do have though! Offensively, this team has only four players, one of them being @Crstats23 who is going to be having to produce an absolute godlike season if this team wants to win any games. Again, this team has a couple okay depth players, but they're going to get ran over by almost any team in the league due to not having enough players and having to have bots fill the spaces. Defensively, this team has a singular defenseman in @Thunder, who will be their best defenseman this season without a doubt! I seriously feel bad for some of these players, as they're not going to have a great time this season and unfortunately, they'll just have to try and get through it. In net, they have a singular goalie, that being @InstantRockstar, who actually isn't rated that poorly. He'll have to pull out some Carey Price-like performances if the team wants to be able to find some wins this season. At the end of the day, this team will not be aiming for a playoff spot and I could see them trying to rebuild and attempt to put together a better team next season.

That'll be all folks! I put a ton of time into this and it took me multiple hours to produce this for you guys. I hope this brings some hype to the VHLE season, as I feel like there isn't enough VHLE content out there. Also, before I end this off, just remember that I am a first gen and I don't know much about the history of some of the players or organizations in the VHLE. I am going purely based off of TP and players I've interacted with around the community, so please keep that in mind. Thanks and I hope you guys enjoyed this article!

1 CHICAGO PHOENIX     Scotty Sundin  @fromtheinside                         C TPE: 393                                     SEASON GP G A PTS (+/-) SHT PIM HITS SB     Season 82 - Regular Season 72 62 67 129 83 392 32 112 17     Season 81 - Regular Season 18 4 4 8 12 25 10 8 3     Season 82 - Playoffs 19 11 20 31 6 81 13 30 5     Season 81 - Playoffs 13 4 4 8 4 16 2 8 5     The consensus first overall pick, Scotty Sundin will slot right in on Chicago's first line alongside S82 top draft pick Roman Arce for the foreseeable future. Coming off of an incredible playoff run with Houston which saw Sundin score 11 goals and 20 assists in 19 games for 31 points. Sundin also has a physical side to his game that often goes unnoticed as they recorded 30 hits throughout the playoffs. This draft pick would set Chicago up really well with their only notable gaps remaining with depth pieces and a goalie and once those are in place we should see the start of a new era of Chicago dominance.                                             2 VANCOUVER WOLVES     Brandt Fuhr @Tate                         G TPE: 374                                     SEASON GP W L OTL SV% GAA SO GA SA     Season 82 - Regular Season 47 29 18 0 0.905 3.15 3 150 1575     Season 81 - Regular Season 5 0 5 0 0.883 5.55 0 25 213     Season 82 - Playoffs 11 7 3 1 0.907 3.43 0 40 429                             With the retirement of Thadius Sales, the Vancouver Wolves are left without a solid starting goalie. Brandt Fuhr would step in and be that right away for the Wolves as they will quickly become the best goalie in the organization. Fuhr is coming off of a very good season in the VHLM and was one of a few goalies with a save percentage above 0.900 that they will likely carry to the next level. Additionally, with Vancouver headed into a retool following 3 consecutive cups, Fuhr would be a great first step back to contention.                                             3 MALMO NIGHTHAWKS     Igor Molotov @Dom                         C TPE: 378                                     SEASON GP G A PTS (+/-) SHT PIM HITS SB     Season 82 - Regular Season 72 72 81 153 52 545 38 150 60     Season 81 - Regular Season 19 7 6 13 10 63 10 14 3     Season 82 - Playoffs 6 5 6 11 -2 43 4 14 4     Season 81 - Playoffs 13 5 5 10 6 43 8 9 5     Another team that is heading into a rebuild, the Malmo Nighthawks don't trade up to 3rd overall to not take the number 2 ranked forward in the draft class. Last season Molotov led the VHLM in goals (72), points (153), and tied for the lead in assists with 81. Molotov is the type of forward that you can build a team around and that is exactly what Malmo will do.                                             4 HC DAVOS DYNAMO     Siyan Yasilievich @badcolethetitan                         D TPE: 276                                     SEASON GP G A PTS (+/-) SHT PIM HITS SB     Season 82 - Regular Season 72 15 81 96 28 121 46 84 86     Season 81 - Regular Season 10 0 1 1 -6 1 4 8 4     Season 82 - Playoffs 13 1 14 15 4 14 10 10 23     Season 81 - Playoffs 12 0 2 2 -2 3 16 16 7     Davos is coming off of a tough season and with this pick they will look to shore up their future top defensive pair. Siyan Yasilievich will slot in perfectly next to James Teekirque on Davos's blue line after 1 season in the VHLE. Yasilievich is coming off a spectacular season for the Philadelphia Reapers which saw them record 81 assists, enough to tie for the league lead.                                             5 NEW YORK AMERICANS     AirRig GoodBrandSun @Rhynex Entertainment                         D TPE: 358                                     SEASON GP G A PTS (+/-) SHT PIM HITS SB     Season 82 - Regular Season 72 26 68 94 65 243 126 224 118     Season 81 - Regular Season 18 3 5 8 1 17 20 31 22     Season 82 - Playoffs 19 10 12 22 5 59 50 56 15     Season 81 - Playoffs 16 2 4 6 3 21 28 32 27     After drafting DeGroot last season and trading them, New York will likely take one of the top defensemen in the draft and GoodBrandSun fits the bill perfectly for what the Americans need. Last season GoodBrandSun was one of the main reasons for Houston's cup run as they recorded 10 goals, and 12 assists for 22 points in 19 games. Expect to see them in the VHL this season as they will likely slot straight into New York's top pair.                                             6 HELSINKI TITANS     Hammar Voss @BOOM                         D TPE: 360                                     SEASON GP G A PTS (+/-) SHT PIM HITS SB     Season 82 - Regular Season 72 45 76 121 66 347 36 82 111     Season 81 - Regular Season 11 2 2 4 -7 3 16 20 7     Season 82 - Playoffs 19 9 21 30 6 90 8 14 40                             Last season Hammar Voss completely tore up the VHLM as a defensemen and is the highest scoring defensemen in the VHLM since Hulk Hogan 2. Last season they had 45 goals, and 76 assists for a total of 121 points for the Houston Bulls. With Helsinki they would help the blue line out for the foreseeable future. Should Helsinki draft Voss, they would likely have to spend next season in the VHLE due to the salary cap, barring a trade.                                             7 TORONTO LEGION     Ryuji Sakamoto @der meister                         D TPE: 331                                     SEASON GP G A PTS (+/-) SHT PIM HITS SB     Season 82 - Regular Season 72 16 63 79 -17 187 144 266 227     Season 81 - Regular Season 16 4 6 10 -3 27 12 18 25     Season 82 - Playoffs 11 1 9 10 11 24 36 49 20                             With Toronto going all-in this season, I would be surprised if they hold onto this pick. If they do, Ryuji Sakamoto is the logical pick as they will add a very promising young defensemen to an already well built roster. Last season Sakamoto was one of the main reasons for Mexico's success in the regular season and playoffs as they were just above a point per game collectively. Sakamoto has a very bright future and Toronto could be the place we see them come to the VHL.                                             8 D.C. DRAGONS     Brian Kowalski @Wheaties                         D TPE: 273                                     SEASON GP G A PTS (+/-) SHT PIM HITS SB     Season 82 - Regular Season 72 34 53 87 28 302 63 93 102     Season 81 - Regular Season 10 0 1 1 -6 6 14 6 10     Season 82 - Playoffs 19 12 19 31 14 81 8 24 29     Season 81 - Playoffs 12 2 1 3 -2 6 10 8 11     Brian Kowalski fits perfectly into D.C.'s defensive structure for seasons to come as following one season they will slot perfectly into the top 4. This past season Kowalski was very productive for Saskatoon as they scored 12 goals and 19 assists in 19 games on their way to a Founder's Cup win.                                             9 CALGARY WRANGLERS     Pete Mitchell @Crstats23                         LW TPE: 250                                     SEASON GP G A PTS (+/-) SHT PIM HITS SB     Season 82 - Regular Season 72 44 49 93 25 366 33 88 22     Season 81 - Regular Season 18 1 1 2 -1 20 2 10 1     Season 82 - Playoffs 7 3 2 5 -3 26 6 11 2     Season 81 - Playoffs 16 3 0 3 -6 25 10 17 3     The Calgary Wranglers have also gone into a retool this offseason and we should expect them to draft the best player available with each of their picks. This past season Pete Mitchel was a very reliable and consistent forward in the VHLM and recorded 44 goals and 49 assists for a total of 93 points in 72 games. With Calgary they would step in on their first line in season 84 and potentially be Calgary's top winger for their entire career alongside either Daniel Janser or Saku Kotkakoivu.                                             10 CALGARY WRANGLERS     Jake Thunder @Thunder                         D TPE: 251                                     SEASON GP G A PTS (+/-) SHT PIM HITS SB     Season 82 - Regular Season 72 4 19 23 -19 72 64 177 117                             Season 82 - Playoffs 7 0 8 8 4 12 12 10 8                             Jake Thunder is a very interesting pick here as they are the top defensemen remaining in the draft, but did not have the strongest season as they only recorded 4 goals and 19 assists for 23 points in 72 games. Their defensive upside though cannot be ignored as they had 177 hits and 117 shots blocked. Additionally, they were above a point per game in the playoffs for the Las Vegas Aces. With Calgary they would likely get the call-up for season 84 where they would be the backbone of Calgary's future defence core.                                             11 HC DAVOS DYNAMO     Leandro Goncalves @leandrofg                         C TPE: 253                                     SEASON GP G A PTS (+/-) SHT PIM HITS SB     Season 82 - Regular Season 72 27 38 65 -30 211 36 93 18                             Season 82 - Playoffs 11 8 13 21 9 36 4 20 5                             Davos needs forwards and Leandro Goncalves would fit the gap perfectly as they are projected as a elite first line center that will be in the VHL for S84. Last season Goncalves was great for Mexico as they were well over a point per game in their time with the team (61 GP, 71 Points). Their time in the VHLE in season 83 should allow for them to further develop their game and really start to progress towards their potential.                                             12 LONDON UNITED     Landon Wolanin @jacobcarson877                         LW TPE: 242                                     SEASON GP G A PTS (+/-) SHT PIM HITS SB     Season 82 - Regular Season 72 41 58 99 -10 388 43 117 60                             Season 82 - Playoffs 7 5 8 13 5 29 2 9 2                             London is in a position right now where they really don't need anything, as a result we should expect London to take Landon Wolanin. Last seasons Wolanin came just shy of 100 points in the regular season, but was excellent defensively having 60 shots blocked as a forward. Once they make the VHL they will be an excellent second line forward for any team and should be able to be on most teams first line shortly there after.                                             13 CALGARY WRANGLERS     Ivan Retoslav @eagle_3450                         C TPE: 249                                     SEASON GP G A PTS (+/-) SHT PIM HITS SB     Season 82 - Regular Season 72 26 54 80 26 234 29 93 28                             Season 82 - Playoffs 19 10 10 20 -5 86 12 38 6                             Calgary could do one of two things with this pick, either draft the best player available in Ivan Retoslav or draft positionally and take Baxter Arcanum. Last season Retoslav made a name for themselves and is becoming a very active member of the hockey community. While playing in a secondary role on Houston they recorded an impressive 80 points in the regular season and were above a point per game in the playoffs. Retoslav is very similar to Goncalves in the sense that they both have an extremely high ceiling and project to be very good players in the VHL.                                             14 NEW YORK AMERICANS     Augustus Kennedy @InstantRockstar                         G TPE: 247                                     SEASON GP W L OTL SV% GAA SO GA SA     Season 82 - Regular Season 71 53 17 1 0.895 2.76 4 198 1877                             Season 82 - Playoffs 19 12 5 2 0.895 3.77 1 73 694                             After missing out on Brandt Fuhr at 5th overall, New York will be looking for their franchise goaltender and they will find them at 14th overall in Augustus Kennedy. Kennedy was a major reason for Saskatoon's success last season as they recorded a ridiculous 53 wins in 71 games. in the playoff their play continues as they maintained a 0.895 SV% throughout the entire season, although their goals against did increase by 1.01 in the playoffs. With that being said, Kennedy is a goaltender that shows a lot of potential and any team that adds them knows that they are getting an elite goaltender for the future.                                             15 MOSCOW MENACE     Tomas Sogaard @Brandon                         LW TPE: 239                                     SEASON GP G A PTS (+/-) SHT PIM HITS SB     Season 82 - Regular Season 66 37 38 75 9 320 14 79 28                             Season 82 - Playoffs 11 11 8 19 -5 60 2 6 4                             Moscow's cup window is still open and will remain open for a few more seasons to come. Tomas Sogaard will be a reason that it stays that way once they make the jump to the VHL in season 84. Last season Sogaard played great for Mexico as they recorded an impressive 37 goals and 75 points in 66 games. Additionally, they played a major role in Mexico's playoff run with 19 points in 11 games. Sogaard will likley fill a depth role in Moscow as soon as season 84 and will likely see an expanded role shortly there after.                                             16 VANCOUVER WOLVES     PJ Daniels @xNJDevilsFanx                         LW TPE: 239                                     SEASON GP G A PTS (+/-) SHT PIM HITS SB     Season 82 - Regular Season 72 23 26 49 20 167 70 152 21                             Season 82 - Playoffs 7 5 3 8 5 5 20 19 2                             With the final pick of the first round and having already secured their franchise goaltender, Vancouver will probably look to draft a top remaining forward to hopefully be one of the core pieces for their future roster. PJ Daniels will be another part of their future first line alongside of Kakapo Bushtit. Last season Daniels improved drastically over the course of the season as can be seen with them being over a point per game in the playoffs compared to 49 points in 72 regular season. Daniels will hope to continue this scoring pace next season in the VHLE prior to making the jump to the VHL for season 84 or 85.

Other players who could be drafted in the first round:
    Baxter Arcanum @ctots
    Deron Nesbitt @AW13
    Sock Monkey @chikn
    Calen McKay @Kendrick
    Adison Bond @adison

Greetings! And welcome to VSN! Be sure to check out the other fine content by our fantastic VSN contributors in the links below before or after you continue to our featured article, S83 Milestone Watch.

VSN Podcast Ep. 3 | VHLM Illustrated 1st Edition | The Talents Behind The Trophies: The Aidan Shaw Trophy

    Riga Reign defenseman Battre Sandstrom

One of the best things about the VHL is seeing players (maybe yours!) get better and better and fill the stats sheet every night. Each season has a group of almost retirees that have one more shot to climb the all-time leaderboards in various categories. Today, VSN has put together a list of these players who have a chance at reaching some pretty impressive regular season milestones next season along with a few players who will still have more time to immortalize themselves beyond this season. Now, with the new hybrid attribute changes being implemented for next season, reaching these milestone may be more difficult for some of these players, but no one really knows. The milestones covered in order are 1000 PIM, 1300 Shot Blocks, 75 & 90 PPG, 1500, 2000, & 2500 Hits, 500 Assists, 150 & 175 Goals (Defensemen), 250 & 300 Goals, and 600 Points.

Of note, you will see that there are no goalies listed in this article due to the retirement of many of the league’s veteran starters. Thus none of the current young goaltenders are close to reaching any significant milestones as their careers are just beginning.

We hope you enjoy the S83 Milestone Watch.

    1000 PIM
    Tom Eagles @Greg_Di (S76, D) (922)
    Duncan Idaho @OrbitingDeath (S77, RW) (887)
Phil The Rock Johnson @Phil (S76, RW) (878)
    Aurelien Moreau @Frank (S77, D) (876)

While 1000 penalty minutes may seem like a relatively easy mark to reach, only 77 players in the history of the VHL have accumulated that amount which over eight seasons works out to 125 PIM per season. Calgary lifer Tom Eagles is the closest to 1000 to start S83, needing only 78 PIM and seeing as he’s recorded over 100 PIM in each of the last six seasons, he’s pretty much a lock. Eagles’ Wrangler teammate Johnson is also in his final season needing 122 PIM, a total he’s hit the last three seasons. Idaho and Moreau have an extra season to hit the milestone but seeing as they’ve each surpassed 115 PIM every season, there’s a good chance they’ll both reach 1000 by season’s end.

Calgary's Tom Eagles is approaching 1000 PIM and 1300 SB

    1300 Shot Blocks (Defensemen)
    Robin Galante Nilsson @RomanesEuntDomus (S76, D) (1185)
    Kristof Welch @Juice (S76, D) (1141)
    Tom Eagles (S76, D) (1125)
    Battre Sandstrom @Acydburn (S76, D) (1091)

This milestone is a bit more prestigious. Before last season, only four defensemen in VHL history had recorded 1300 or more blocked shots. With the rise in shots over the last few seasons, the number of blocked shots also rose culminating in three more defensemen retiring after S82 with over 1300 blocked shots. L @gorlab, Chicken Wing @chikn, and R @Kylrad now sit fourth, fifth and sixth, respectively all-time on the career shots blocked list. The four names above have a very good chance at joining them in the Top-10 when S83 is finished with the outlier being Sandstrom who needs 209. He at least has a good shot to crack the Top-15 all-time.

    75 PPG
    Battre Sandstrom (S76, D) (69)
    Brendan Telker @Telkster (S77, LW) (69)

Less than 20 full-time defensemen and only 58 players have ever reached 75 career power play goals. Sandstrom has been a force with the man advantage his entire career, hitting 10 or more PPG four times and never scoring less than six, which added to 69 equals 75. Easy math. Despite a down year for Telker in S82, he has been one of the VHL’s most lethal power play specialists scoring 11 or more PPG in each of the last five seasons. We think he’ll be shooting for 90 in S84.

    90 PPG
    Kristof Welch (S76, D) (80)

Welch has been an offensive dynamo in the latter half of his career hitting over 100 points in each of the last four seasons with three different teams. He has a chance to join some elite company. He’s only the 12th full-time defenseman to reach 80 PPG and since he’s averaged over 14 PPG the last four seasons, he could become the 6th defenseman and 13th VHL player to reach 90 at the conclusion of his career.

    1500 Hits
    Henry Tucker @NSG (S76, RW) (1471)
    Aurelien Moreau (S77, D) (1249)
    Tom Eagles (S76, D) (1249)
    Zeedayno Chara @Jubis (S77, D) (1211)

The VHL has long been known as an offensive league but there has always been a place for the truculent types: the grinders, the muckers, and the bangers. The next few categories celebrate those who love the physical side of the game. Tucker should have no problem reaching 1500 hits as the current three-time Continental Cup Champion loves to hit more than he loves to win. Averaging 200+ hits over the last five seasons, he could reach 1700. Moreau and Eagles each need 251 hits, a total that only Moreau has previously hit but Eagles may get mad and go on a rampage. Chara had 270 hits last season and needs 289 but also has two seasons to reach the mark.

    2000 Hits
Phil The Rock Johnson (S76, RW) (1757)

Johnson is well-known for being one of the premier power forwards of this era. He’s crashed over 250 hits each of the last five seasons including a career-high 403 in S80, one of only 19 players in VHL history to record 400 or more hits in a season. Reaching 2000 hits and a spot in the Top-35 seems merely a formality at this point.

    2500 Hits
    Druss Deathwalker @animal74 (S77, RW) (2165)

If you haven’t been on the wrong end of a Deathwalker hit, it’s probably because you haven’t played in the VHL yet. The league’s active leader in hits is currently 21st on the all-time list and has two seasons to lay more bodies in his wake. He needs 335 hits to reach 2500 and 13th place, a total he’s recorded four times in his career.

    500 Assists
    Kristof Welch (S76, D) (436)
    Battre Sandstrom (S76, D) (432)
    Robin Galante Nilsson (S76, D) (428)

Another milestone awaits these three defenders, who could very well all might receive calls from the Hall of Fame. Indeed, all of the eight defensemen who have reached 500 assists before them are enshrined in the Hall. Welch needs 64, Sandstrom needs 68 and Nilsson needs 72, numbers that all three have posted in each of the last three seasons. This milestone may be the one in the most jeopardy due to the new attributes but if anyone can dish out that many assists, these three stars can.

    150 Goals (Defensemen)
    Battre Sandstrom (S76, D) (133)

Sandstrom has scored 14 or more goals in every single season. He needs 13 to join Welch as the 40th defenseman to score 150 goals.

    175 Goals (Defensemen)
    Kristof Welch (S76, D) (151)

The S80 Alexander Valiq Trophy (Top Offensive Defenseman) has averaged over 27 goals over the last four seasons. Will he defy age and pot 19 more to become the 17th d-man to score 175 career goals? We think so.

Vancouver teammates Jivere Zolnek, Henry Tucker, and Jerome Reinhart are looking for 250 goals.

    250 Goals
    Paul Atreides @Mr_Hatter (S77, C) (220)
    Jivere Zolnek @Sixersfan594 (S76, C) (212)
    Henry Tucker (S76, RW) (211)
    Brian Moreau @weekz(S76, LW) (202)
    Jerome Reinhart @MexicanCow123 (S79, LW) (202)

Even though 161 players have reached 250 goals, it is not an easy feat and requires consistent excellence throughout a career. These five players are at different stages but all have and equal shot at 250, the meta be damned. Atreides, the S77 1st overall pick doesn’t have any awards to his name aside from three straight Cup Finals appearances, but he’s be steady and reliable for a surging Moscow group. He only need 30 goals, a mark he’s reached in all but one season. Although known as a passer, Zolnek pots his fair share of pucks as well. He’s scored 38 or more goals in each of the last four seasons. Tucker has developed into quite the sniper for the Wolves and has averaged over 53 goals the last three seasons, well above the 39 he needs. Moreau and Reinhart, the third Vancouver player on this list both need 48 goals but Reinhart has much more time on his side. Moreau has potted 48 and 53 in the last two seasons while Reinhart has been just ahead of teammate Tucker, averaging over 55 goals the last three seasons.

    300 Goals
    Duncan Idaho (S77, RW) (263)
    Brendan Telker (S77, LW) (257)

Idaho and Telker, the 3rd and 5th overall picks in the S77 draft respectively have been neck-and-neck offensively throughout their whole careers. Idaho has had a bit more individual success while Telker won the coveted Continental Cup in S79. Both are approaching significant milestones in 300 goals and 600 points and both have a couple of seasons to pad those totals.  Idaho is riding three consecutive 50-goal seasons and should easily hit the 37 he needs. Questions as to whether Telker has peaked after a 50-point drop last season will need to be answered if he is to score 43 goals this season, a total he’s hit in four of the past five campaigns. Write it down that they both finish their careers in the Top-50 all-time goal scorers.

    600 Points
    Kristof Welch (S76, D) (587)
    Duncan Idaho (S77, RW) (566)
    Battre Sandstrom (S76, D) (565)
    Brendan Telker (S77, LW) (559)
    Robin Galante Nilsson (S76, D) (548)
    Jivere Zolnek (S76, C) (541)
    Paul Atreides (S77, C) (508)
    Jerome Reinhart (S79, LW) (459)

600 is a nice round number, just over a point-per-game for a career, an accomplishment achieved by only 171 players and 24 defensemen throughout the VHL’s history. Each of these players hit 100 points with seemingly regularity. In fact, they have 21 100-point seasons between them. The adjusted attributes shouldn’t rob the first six names of this milestone but Atreides and Reinhart may fall short but they have time on their side. Reinhart is on the list more due to the fun fact that if he duplicates his 141 points from last season, that will give him an even 600 with three more seasons to play.

The players shooting for these milestones have delighted fans and impressed rivals throughout their careers. Their hard work and wizardry on the ice have put them in a position to rewrite the league’s history books, have their names in the annals of legend and perhaps hear their name called to the Hall of Fame someday. No matter where they find themselves on among the all-time greats, they represent what the VHL is all about: hard work, dedication, and achieving your dreams. And that is a milestone worth striving for.

chikn reacted to Shindigs in S83 VHLM Draft names Power Ranking.
Yes, it's top tier content time. I will rank the best names in the draft. No not the best players, the best names. I'm pretty sure that one of the top names will actually skip the draft and go to the E. But I'll include her anyways, cause it's my list, I can do what I want.

    1. Velociraptor Greg @samx Just an absolute legend move to lean into the meme and make the Velociraptor/chicken nugget emote crossover name we all needed in our lives.
    2. Sock Monkey @chikn Inanimate objects playing hockey is starting to be a bit of a trend in the VHL at this point, and I'm all for it. It's not The Board Game Clue On Skates, but it's the best inanimate object in this draft!
    3. Napoleon Dynamite @thadthrasherAs long as he does the dance every time he scores. I'm all for for this dynamite center taking the league over.
    4. Boston @CanucksFan The irony of naming your player Boston as a Canucks fan just gets to me for some reason, don't judge.
    5. Callum Murray @Berocka The name is a bit fishy tbh, but I wouldn't go as far as to say it sucks. Because that would be roasting him needlessly. So we have to go with Berockas recreate here.

Since the other Velociraptor isn't even a Velociraptor I had to DQ him entirely, I'm afraid. Maybe I missed someone? Maybe I didn't. I'm pretty sure at least some other recreate names are references that I'm just not catching, which is fine. Because this list clearly doesn't matter, and is just my opinion. Coincidentally almost everyone on this list will go early in the draft (or possibly skip it in Sock Monkey's case). So this is your hot take VHL insider scoop of the day. Meme name = Higher draft stock. Totally causality there, nothing to do with recreates being more likely to have meme names and also being more likely to go higher in the draft. I will hear none of it!😅

chikn reacted to Ledge in S75 Dream Team
In honour of this group of players playing out their last season, and for most, their last week of TPE earned, I thought I'd make a dream team made up of solely players from this draft class. In an effort to include and honour everyone I can, I'll be expanding the roster to include 2 forward lines, 2 D pairings, and two goalies. We have to assume that due to risk of injury this dream team consists of 4 goalies. It's best not to question it.

             Now, onto the lineup:

Nathan Perry - Taro Tsujimoto - Justin Lose
    Cabe McJake - Linus Zetterstrom
    Thadius Sales

This is a powerhouse line. Although we have a shortage of franchise left wingers, we can make do.

Nathan Perry has had nothing short of a fantastic first gen career. After winning the S74 Founder's Cup with the Miami Marauders, he went on to have an illustrious VHL career, amassing 223 goals and 478 points over 472 games. Following being drafted by the London United, he was promptly dealt to the Calgary Wranglers, where Perry found chemistry with his new linemates and flourished, collecting his first point per game season in only their second. This season, as the Wranglers gear up for yet another playoff run, Perry is on his normal PPG pace, with 22 goals and 51 points in 40 games. His updating has been solid over the seasons, and he looks to close out in the shadow of 1200 TPE.

Taro Tsujimoto has rarely not been the TPE leader of this draft class, from the very beginning. Gustav's second player, almost in the ironic mold of Ryan Kastelic's 'too much TPE', despite having truckloads of the stuff throughout his career, only put up 100+ points once, in his Scotty Campbell-winning S80 season, where he notched an incredible 46 goals and 114 points. Tsujimoto has played just short of 550 games so far, and has amassed 291 goals and 667 points. After a long and somewhat disappointing seven seasons with the HC Davos Dynamo, Taro was dealt to the Seattle Bears, where he looks to chase a cup in his final season. As I'm writing this, he has 1499 TPE, and I can only imagine he solidifies his legend in the coming week by surpassing the landmark total of 1500.

Justin Lose actually had a pretty similar career to Tsujimoto, although the trade that lead to his big break came a little earlier. Lose's 5 seasons with the Riga Reign, who bought into the S75 draft class with all of their savings, were, accompanied by all the other S75 Reign draftees, underwhelming. Lose only breached PPG in his third season, but his total of 252 goals and 537 points reveals a big jump in his points recently. That can be attributed to his whirlwind of an S81, where he put the puck in the back of the net 72 times, and also grabbed 70 apples for an insane 142 points, and in the process he captured the Campbell, Szatkowski, Slobodzian, and Brooks awards. All. In. The. Same. Season. That alone could put him into HoF contention, which would be a great reward for Lose, who worked his ass off earning more than 1400 TPE over his career.

Cabe McJake is the true definition of a disgraced star. Even as a first gen player, he rivalled Gustav in TPE at his prime earning points. But alas, the member behind the player proved to be the downfall, and Red was banned from the VHL a season or two ago. That doesn't prevent him from making this team, however, since McJake achieved some incredible things throughout his career. After joining the Marauders as a waiver claim, he quickly became the cornerstone of the Waiver Warriors, who would go on to upset the number 1 seed Halifax 21st on the way to capturing maybe the craziest underdog story of a Founder's Cup ever. McJake was awarded the Skylar Rift trophy. After his VHLM stand, he joined the same Reign as Lose, and fell under the spell of mediocrity, never passing 91 points. He is now toiling out the rest of his inactivity in Davos.

Linus Zetterstrom has always been a quiet player. As a pass first defencemen, he really had no other choice. He is the only player on this line not to receive a single award (S76 Stolzschweiger is a touchy subject). After a relatively silent minors career with the Las Vegas Aces, he exploded with tons of ice time for the Reign, notching 74 points in his rookie season. His career high in points was 86 in S78, and he never really came close to that again. Ever loyal, he spent his whole career with the Reign, suffering through every single cursed season. Now that the Reign have a brand new core, and Zetterstrom is, for almost the first time in his career, not a number 1 defenceman, he looks to win a Continental Cup in his final season.

Thadius Sales is undisputedly the superior goaltender of the S75 draft class. His VHLM stand was underwhelming, and not a proper reflection of what would come for Sales. His career is largely tainted by the eternal tire fire that is the New York Americans, only visiting the playoffs twice in a five year span. Last season, he was dealt to the Vancouver Wolves, where he was able to thrive under a capable defensive core. He helped the Wolves to their second straight cup, gathering the Clegane and Shaw trophies on the way. His 1330 TPE can put most others in the draft class to shame, and his 220 wins (which I think is a lot) and other cool goalie stats (I don't know how to read goalie stats) seem to project a solid, successful career. Sales is chasing after the threepeat with the Wolves this season, and they might just do it.

Second line! I disregarded positions because I was going to do 3 lines but the activity falls off and I wanted to squeeze everyone in (sorry hedge and molholt)

Robert Bouchard - Pistil Stamen - Dan Dan
    Chicken Wing - Isau DaMoose
    Kunibuni UnGuri

Robert Bouchard is another ultra-loyal player, having stuck with the Prague Phantoms, his OG draft team, for seven seasons of his successful VHL career. After showcasing his torrid scoring ability with the Philadelphia Reapers, Bouchard slowly crept his way up the Prague depth charts until he scored 109 and 105 points respectfully, in seasons 80 and 81. His pace is a little off in his final season, perhaps due to the influx of talent into the Prague system, but the Phantoms are gearing up for another cup run in Bouchard's last lap. He scored 221 goals and 539 points across his progression, which is nothing to sneeze at. He represented Team Canada at both the World Juniors and World Cup, and won the Founder's Cup with the Reapers in S75. There will surely be a hole in the Phantoms locker room with the retirement of 'The Bouch'.

It would be rather difficult to guess the first overall pick in S75, as the GM player rule was not yet intact, so GMs could reserve their first rounder for their player. Pistil Stamen was eventually picked first, and he has rewarded the Los Angeles Stars with eight seasons of solid production. However, it was only recently that he developed his scoring touch in the VHL, as he scored 112, 109, and 112 points in that order in the past 3 seasons completed, and he's on pace for another considerable amount again. His VHLM career could be easily overlooked, as well as his first two seasons. But once he gained his form, Stamen was a beast, leading the Stars through a lengthy playoff run in '79, nothing 24 points in 14 games. He will retire likely a smidge above 1400 TPE, a significant accomplishment.

Dan Dan is an outlier. Believe it or not, his big season is coming in the current one! The old man is putting on a show, with 34 goals and 87 points in only 40 games with the LA Stars, after never reaching even the 90 point mark with the Helsinki Titans or Calgary Wranglers. His VHLM career was also mediocre, with an exciting 90 point campaign the only real accomplishment. He had bouts with all three teams previously listed, and surprisingly never really found his footing, especially with Helsinki. While he hasn't collected any awards yet, his trophy case is likely about to get a whole lot fuller after this season, especially if the Stars find a way through the Metawolves. Nevertheless, Dan's 503 career points are surely worth something somewhere to someone, and it's certainly a hefty amount.

Chicken Wing is the only defenceman on this line, largely due to the leaving of gorlab a few seasons ago. Nonetheless, Wing was able to gather themself an impressive VHL stand. They unfortunately caught the down part of the Americans' rebuild, and therefore has a disappointing lack of playoff experience. They still were rock solid in the regular season, twice breaching point per game and even scoring 26 goals in their sophomore season. In S81, their 63 assists and 82 points set a career high, although we may see that broken after this season. They were awarded the Jake Wylde award in S80, and won the Founder's Cup with the Waiver Warriors of Miami in S74. Now with the Warsaw Predators, Wing looks to help the Preds make a push for the playoffs in their retirement run.

Isau DaMoose is listed here as a defenceman, because I didn't want to just give him an honourable mention. He deserves better! The forward has had an exciting career, riding it out with the Riga Reign for all seven seasons. He largely suffered the same fate as Lose, Zetterstrom, and McJake, as somehow that Reign team never got their feet on the ground. Despite all of that voodoo, DaMoose still managed to gather 40 goals 3 times and 100 points once, and is on pace for another big season as he leads the young Reign forward group into what we hope is finally a successful playoff run. DaMoose is familiar with those, winning the S75 Founder's Cup with the Reapers as teammates with Bouchard. In S80 he had an exceptional run with the Mercs in the World Cup, with 19 points in 11 games. He will finish with comfortably more than 1300 TPE.

Kunibuni UnGuri is the final player and goalie on this dream team. It breaks my heart not to include Klam and Tretiak, but there are only two spots. UnGuri has been the backbone of the HC Davos Dynamo for his entire career, and despite a sometimes dismal defensive core in front of him, never let his save percentage dip below .910, which I think is pretty damn good. Of course, Davos has never been super successful in the playoffs, so UnGuri has had to settle for 19 total games of postseason experience. He made a mind-blowing 15 thousand saves throughout his career, which is something probably not many other goalies can attest to. As is common knowledge, goalies are voodoo, and UnGuri drew the short straw when it came to STHS luck. His career is still something to be proud of.

Well, that pretty much sums it up. From the beginning, even after the retirements of Kaberle, Gobeil, Muffbeav, and McLaren, the S75 draft class still managed to churn out at least twelve successful VHL careers. I remember always thinking to myself, wow, this is truly an exceptional draft class. There is so much depth even beyond these twelve players, and it is hard to believe that our journey together is coming to a close. I, and as I imagine some of you mentioned in the article, are planning on retiring and creating a new player next Monday. If so, this is my farewell. It has been a wild ride, one that has lasted, like, a year and a half. Frankly, I'm going to miss Linus. I've dedicated so much of my free time to advancing him through his career, and although the results were mixed, it was a super fun time. Cheers to y'all, and here's to making S84 the best draft class the VHL has ever seen!

Today we are only looking at Daniel's games as Marcel has had a day off in the league. Without further ado, please find our summary for the Calgary matches.

    3-2 (SO)

The first match was against self-proclaimed S82 Continental Cup winner Riga Reign and ended in a 3-2 loss after shootout. 2:49 minutes were played in the first frame, when Daniel in power play dug out a lost puck behind Riga's net. He passed it to Johnson who could not control it with all the sticks interfering but the biscuit ends up with Funk who blasts it past T. Reinhart for the 1-0 lead. The second period ended 1-1 with Jokinen finding the back of the net for the Wranglers to increase the lead by one. However, Riga pulls one back with one and a half minutes left. The third period goes 1-0 to Riga and the ensuing Sudden Death did not bring a winner. So up to shootout it was once again where only Miklavz and Tallinder succeeded. The three stars went to Reinhart (35 saves), Funk (1g/0a) and Markov (1g/0a). Klamasteris (.943) and Reinhart (.946) had both a great night, alas with a slight statistical advantage for the Riga keeper. The Wranglers' power play was okay (1/5) and the box play decent (4/5).
Daniel was noted with 0g, 1a, +0, 2 PIM (Goalie interference, no effect on the score), 2 hits, 1sb and 48.72 FO%.

    4-5 (SO)

The second match was against the Predators and ended in a 5-4 shootout loss. Warsaw scored first after less than three minutes played, following the opening face-off. A mere 32 seconds later though, Daniel shoots and misses the net by inches. The orphaned puck is picked up by Perry, who has a go as well with similar effect. Nasherov gives it a try and he succeeds where Perry and Janser did not. Seven and a half minutes later, Daniel wins the draw in the Wranglers' zone and passes the puck to Perry. Wilk is a tad late with his check, but he was already committed so no foul play on Janser. Meanwhile Perry relayed the disc to veteran defender Eagles who carries it into Warsaw's end and shoots, just to miss. Daniel gains the puck in behind the net and scores a wrap-around goal. The first period ends with a 2-1 lead for the Albertan team. The second period sees a brace for either team, with Johnson and Reinhart scoring for their colours. The Preds manage to equalize the score in the third and again the Wranglers have to go into OT. History repeats himself when no team was able to score in the Sudden Death, so the teams had to show their skills from the face-off mark. Jokinen was the only Wrangler to beat Tot, while Wing and Moreau converted for the Polish team. Johnson (1g/0a), Trunov (1g/1a) and Janser (1g/1a) were awarded the three stars for the night. Klamasteris (.913) was a tot (pun intended) better than his adversary in the Predators' net (.911). The Wranglers did not have any power play opportunity and denied Warsaw a goal during their four attempts.
Daniel had 1g, 1a, -1, 4 hits as well as 1sb to his name and won 63.04% of his draws.

    Daniel's totals sofar:
    16gp, 7g, 14a, 21pts, +17, 30 PIM, 50 hits, 10sb, 1gwg and 55.61% FOW

Stay tuned for further updates on Marcel 'the Hammer' and Daniel 'the Swiss Army Knife' Janser's careers overseas.

1.)  As of now, Warsaw is currently sitting at a 32-20-6 record at the time of the press. Do you see us catching up to the likes of Malmo, and Moscow?
No we didn't end up catching up to them.

2.) Going into the New Year, what are some things you would like to improve upon?
Definitely improving on my athletic diet.

3.) Of the two top teams in the standings from their respective conferences, whom do you see as the weaker link of the two? Vancouver, or Moscow?
I think Vancouver might win the playoffs, so I'm going to say Moscow is the weaker link of the two.

4.)  What is currently our biggest strength heading into 2022?
I would say were pretty good at scoring goals lol

5.) On the flip side, what would you say is our biggest weakness heading into 2022?
idk, just lack of depth I guess.

6.) Who would you be caught with at a New Years party?
The famous dlamb because I actually spent New Years with him lol

Nothing, I'm happy with my player.

2.) What's the one thing we could do as a team to push us against other teams?
Just try our best and work hard!

3.) What is one meal in Warsaw that you can't go without?
There's a restaurant that serves the best Paluszki here in Warsaw!

4.) What do you think of the Warsaw fanbase?
Amazing! Couldn't have got this far without them!

5.) Choose a player you'd like to play along with. Why did you choose that player?
Bring up Vasile Lamb from VHLM! He is basically already capped to come up to the VHL after only his first season in the VHLM!

6.)  Which VHL team would you want to play for, if you couldn't play for Warsaw?
I guess I would want to go back to New York if I couldn't play for Warsaw.
