Review: I find it difficult to commit to a piece, yet alone a series of articles, so I find this super impressive. Really in-depth, the research and time put into this is obvious, and nice use of bolding and italics. My one critique is to maybe break up the paragraphs a little to enhance the view. 9/10

Review: I've seen lots of interview articles, but rarely ones where it is done right. This just feels real. The writing and vocabulary are top notch, and the colour coded quotes make it easy to read and pleasant to look at. Honestly not much I can say to critique it. 10/10

I've had a bad taste in my mouth ever since we lost game 5 to Warsaw. They're an amazing team, full credit to them for wiping us out of the playoffs. I don't know, it just seems off. Hedge picked the perfect draft class to tank and build through, and we still have most of that core. But apparently it isn't enough? Zamboni Driver, in his last season, was phenomenal especialy at the start of the season and will contend for the goalie of the year. But in the series, he gets pulled? Multiple times? Our forward core, which boasts near-the-top-of-the-league in TPA Cabe McJake, Isau DaMoose, and Justin Lose, all but up less than 7 points in the 5 game series? And our D core may not be the best in the league, but Linus, Giant, thunder, and Hlozek are all top four caliber D on almost every team. Yet we still let 6 and 7 bombs multiple times? Maybe I'm just ranting, and maybe it's all a coincidence, but come on, is it that hard to believe that STHS was out go get us? Next season wlll be difficult, because both of our current goalies are retiring. Chances are, Tobias Reinhart will go to the E, so we are left goalieless. And starting goalies don't pop up on the market too often. There is also talk of movement among some of the forwards, although it is unlikely we will enter another rebuild, not when the current core is still capable of pushing for a cup. 257 words

To my understanding, you want to win. Winning improves your lottery odds. It's similar to the NHL draft lottery in that it is designed to discourage tanking

I hereby declare both my interest in, and official application to, the newly vacant positions of general manager in the VHLM.

The post above me is from one of our commissioners, so it should clear things up big time. If not, here's a little tidbit to keep in mind while discussing the VHL: A. This is not the NHL. It is an online simulation league. We do not abide by NHL rules regarding some aspects of contracts, trading, and drafting. B. As has been brought up, this league has been running for a long time, since before I was born. The rules we have in place have been battle-tested beyond your imagination, and even then we are still implementing huge changes (see this announcement). The league is very open to change, even running a suggestion drive this season to collect suggestions from our members. C. Please, before you go on rants about how the VHL desperately needs change and isn't being run properly, familiarize yourself with it. This is the rulebook, where everything about how the league runs is catalogued. Also, I highly recommend joining the league discord so you can involve yourself with our fantastic community. And finally, I can't stress enough, keep this in the back of your mind at all times: this is for fun. It is ran by unpaid volunteers who enjoy it so much they're willing to put time and energy into it, and they're trying their best. All the members you were arguing with before have dedicated their time to reaching out to new members such as yourself. I for one would appreciate it if you treated this thing that has been built and running for 14 years with a little more respect. I sincerely hope you decide to become an active member, because you clearly have a lot of passion for the game of hockey. See you around

Review: I do enjoy reading these types of media spots that veer from the hockey POV. And truth be told, you're a really good writer! It's a great little short story, the colour-coded quotes are spot on, and it's overall a fantastic piece. 9.5/10
