  1. This is good, fight the tpe inflation Corona virus is putting us all in tough times, I propose we slash the tpe pay on everything by 20%. Media spots now pay 5 instead of 6. All job pay cut by 20%. Vive la revolution
  2. Mafia visit me tonight, I triple doggy dare you to kill me

  5. why don't you want to play on Vancover?
  6. Unfortunately the Moscow Menace and Smitty/Gritty have agreed to mutually part ways, as Moscow does not have the cap space to fit either player into their future plans without hurting the teams long-term success. This leaves the combo one last chance to win another cup before retiring, and rumors are flying that a GM very familiar with these two players has already traded for their rights. A few days of extra convincing certainly can't hurt, but I intend to at least test free agency just to see what is out there. It is very rare that players from my agency enter free agency, and I want to enjoy it while I can. I hope my next player goes back to being a loyalist to one team his whole career (assuming said team has a competent GM). Also side note, while me and Flyers would like to pair together again, it is not something that 100% needs to happen. If a great opportunity comes to both of us on different teams, we certainly could consider it. For now, all options are open.
  7. During the S69 Offseason, aka the Great Davos Purge, the Eaglesfan and Flyersfan agencies made a decision that they would enter free agency as a package deal for the first time in nearly their decade in the league together. Due to salary cap constraints in an increasingly competitive league, Smitty and Gritty were largely left with just two decisions, as Seattle quickly backed out after making other moves (can't say that turned out badly for them). It was down to either Toronto or Moscow, and while Devise made a decent pitch to us, Moscow wound up being the perfect fit. While we never formally declared the following three goals, these were generally what I hoped to accomplish in signing with Moscow: 1) Make Moscow the first recent expansion era team to win a Continental Cup Season 70 was a glorious year in the Moscow Menace history books, as they clearly became the most successful of the recent era expansion teams so far. On a personal level, being a part of an expansion team's first cup was something I've always wanted to be a part of, as a team's first is always the most prized and cherished. Looking back on this era of Moscow history, a major storyline will be how the signing of Smitty and Gritty helped turn this franchise around. 2) Get Smitty into the Hall of Fame While Flyersfan was obviously more concerned about this than myself, it definitely was something I was pushing for as well. I knew statistically he would have a great chance based on continually being the highest point scoring defensemen and winning multiple awards, but getting that cup was the icing on the cake for Smitty. While both of us are in the Hall of Fame as builders, it was nice to see some success on the player side as well. Last point on this, Moscow is great for anyone who wants to score a lot of points, as win or lose the club seems to be known for stat padding. 3) Make Gritty into a Legitimate Player It has been so long since I have made an actual good player that @McWolf actually mocked Gritty to be drafted in the 2nd round, behind DT's player (LOL). When I was on Vancouver, part of the reason I got into little disagreements with Beaviss was because Gritty was putting up absolutely horrible numbers, and despite having higher tpe than other players seemed to be riding the pine minutes wise. In the end we did wind up winning a cup so it wasn't all bad, and I've always been about cup > player. However, it did feel nice to have Gritty flourish in Moscow, and finally become the PPG player that I've wanted. I would like to thank all of my teammates in Moscow for a really fun last few seasons. I especially want to thank @gorlab and @Mr_Hatter, who are two of Moscow's shining stars. Hatter in particular really impressed me by being a great teammate while being stuck as a backup goalie all these seasons, and then coming through in the clutch when it was his time to start. Great group of guys that I will definitely miss as I go on my next quest. Also, Victor thanks for moving all the cap space to fit us in here, it was a great choice by both of us.
  8. Congrats Seattle! @Banackock is an OG GM going back my my days, and while many people have things to say about you one thing that cant be denied is your passion for seattle. You always have worked for it and well deserved way to cap off your GM career
  9. Write in for Hogan
  10. Good continue doubting it when you can’t save a beach ball next game
  11. We have them right where we want them
  12. @Enorama that graphic does not include JVR, who is a 3rd liner and had a broken finger but would have been back for playoffs. Now add JVR to the third line, move Pitlick down, and take Thompson out. Let's assume one of either Morgan Frost or Nolan Patrick slides into center for the playoffs. This is all with Lindblom being out to to his freak cancer (poor guy). It's great depth
  13. Re-Vote on this popularity contest
  14. @Victor or someone link this man to the slobo thread
  15. Forward depth was their greatest strength actually, so you are dead wrong on that. Their weaknesses were a lack of a #1D to pair with Provorov (Niskanen is good but those two aren't an ideal top pair), and lacking one more top end talent forward (perhaps if Lindblom and Patrick weren't out that would help). Also Carter Hart is young and never played in the playoffs before so that is a wild card.
  16. I just realized Davos has 3/4 of the top picks, that is mucho exciting
  17. New Questions: 1) Where do you think we match up best and worst against Seattle? 2) Hypothetical Question - How much money would it take for you to permanently leave the VHL? Like if I paid you x dollars to leave for good 3) When opening up the game thread for these playoff games, what is your strategy? Go right to the comments and guess of that if we won or lost, open up the game and close eyes to all eyes, or view the live stream on twitch? 4) Can you think of a more exciting catch phrase for us to use than MOSCOW MOSCOW MOSCOW? 5) When we won the cup last year how did you celebrate? If we win again will celebrations be same or something different? 6) What is your favorite way to earn tpe on here? VHL.com, media spot, graphics, etc?
  18. what a throwback
