One of the key things that drew me to signing with Moscow was the prospect of bringing an expansion team their first Continental Cup. Gritty will always remain a part of Moscow history, as the first cup-winning team is always special in the hearts of fans. One unexpected development was getting to play with members I never would have ordinarily gotten to meet. @Mr_Hatter had to wait his turn many seasons as the backup goalie, but never once complained about it, being very supportive of the team. When he finally got his chance to shine, boy did he. We finally combined our top-end goalscoring with an elite goalie, and just dominated the league the entire year. I have rarely (if ever) been part of a top-end team like that, and it sure is a lot of fun to dominate. Lastly, I am also thankful that we got Smitty a Continental Cup, as that pretty much guarantees that he will become a hall of famer (even though he has an extremely strong case without it).

1) I definitely knew we would be playoff contenders, but I was worried it could be a continuation of last season. The difference this year was we finally got some great goaltending to pair along with our goal scoring 2) I am leaving it inside of my house with me so I can practice social distancing and flatten out the corona virus curve 3) Yes, the majority of our roster is intact and we can definitely run it back. 4) I actually promised that if Moscow won the cup I would buy Moscow merch, and I will hold myself to that. Not sure what I want to get, I am thinking perhaps a t shirt 5) I love amusement parks especially Disney World but I am afraid we would find it empty due to the corona virus 6) Read all of the books in the freakonomics series. They do a good job of writing nerdy economics topics about more real world related experimental stuff in a way that is still interesting to non-economics nerds such as myself

I've won cups before with plenty of teams, but rarely in as dominant of a fashion as this. Finished first place in the regular season, and nearly swept our way through the first two rounds. OF course the work is not over yet as I am not overlooking Calgary, but it's hard not to be very optimistic based on how we have done throughout the playoffs. Usually my past players have been on like a 2nd to 4th place team that goes on to win the cup, never as the top dog who just holds it down the whole season. This is a new way to play and is very fun. Gritty and Smitty have scored a boatload of points since joining Moscow (along with everyone else) and team chemistry is clearly clicking. A cup victory will have made this free agency decision to join Moscow an absolute success, but even without a cup it's been a great ride with fun teammates and lots of points scored for my player and my multi.

1) No one because I have 0 worry they can beat us with that forward core 2) My friend's dad lets us all use his beach house for memorial day weekend before shore weather opens up so that should be fun 3) Bernard is having an outstanding playoffs for us, we finally have the goalie we need to take us all the way! 4) I updated my faceoffs a little bit before playoffs but other than that am banking for next season 5) Gritty. Smitty is never one to emote too much, he will just do a fist bump and say that was ideal) 6) The Joker - it's not a typical super hero movie but instead explores the why of how the Joker became the Joker. One of the best movies I have ever seen IMO l
