  1. 1- Z was a great GM. I loved him but I'm sure NOHBDY will do as great! I won't be there but I'll still be in the locker room. 2- 3-2 lead isn't bad but we could've got the win to win the serie 4-1 but we're looking pretty good. 3- Yup. Otto got the 2nd longest beard in the team right behind Petrenko and he's proud of it! 4- I would say it was fantastic! The trade was meant to be done and it got me into a great team. Now I just need another cup! 5- I don't know. Half of the team won't be there next seaso so it's hard to choose. Maybe @lukechezzwoo cause he got the best +/- in the league by quite a lot. 6- I won't be there so IDK.
  2. *You need to answer every question to gain your 2 TPE 1- Are you exited to be part of the Brigade? 2- How do you expect your player to do in the sim? Do you you want him to be more offensive, defensive or more like an enforcer? 3- Is the VHL the first simulation hockey league you have been part to? 4-Do your player have any pregame ritual or any pregame meal? 5- Do you like how the Discord is managed? Do you have any suggestions to improve the Discord or our team locker room? 6- Last one. An off topic question. Which one do you like the most: waterslide or roller coaster?
  3. Congrats @Zetterberg!!! You were great with Mississauga and you'll be great with Bratislava!
  4. 1- I am happy to finish at the top of the 'M for the 2nd year in a row. Of course the prime minister is a great trophy to win but what I want is the Founder's Cup! 2- We won't be knpck out. Which team? I really don't know but because Alex is predicting us vs San Diego, I'm gonna choose them. Of course me I have us winning. 3- I am exited to join an 'E team but I am sure I'll miss my time with the Reapers, the Rush and the Hounds. 4- He deserve it! He stays in Mississauga for two entire season and one of them the team was not so great but he stays there as a great leader and he'll be remember as a Hounds all time great! 5- Minipn as a captain couldn't be better, like I said earlier, he was great with the Hounds for two solid season and that 2nd year he deserved that 'C'. 6-FBWNACTBEMF (Fantastic But We Need A Cup To Be Even More Fantastic)
  5. 1-How was your first season in a VHLM team? Were there some challenges that you had to face? 2-Who was your favourite player growing up? 3- Were you inspire by an NHL player to build your player Sigard Petrenko?
  6. If only you had the Hounds win the cup... that would've been a perfect article
  7. I want to be ping. If you don't I might forget for the other rounds but if you ping me I won't
  8. I apply. Would like to be GM for any team.
  9. 1- Yeah I love how my player is playing. Road to 100pts. 2- I would love to win the prime minister and I think we have a good shot at it. 3- Let's win the Founder's Cup! 4- I think I'll stay in the E for 1 season because I am not quite ready for the VHL. 5- He's a great GM and I will always remember him. 6- The same superstition that I use normally.
  10. Thank you! I love that graphic it looks amazing!
  11. The Sterling Labatte trophy is the award given every year to the best defenceman of the year. Previousely named the Orr trophy, it was change to the Sterling Labatte trophy after his umbelivable carrer that led him to 3 "Orr" trophy. Since S1, there has been a lot of great defenceman that won this trophy by some of them were just too dominant. Some of them even put up 100 pts season. In this article, I'm gonna talk about the three most dominant season of a Sterling Labatte winner. Just to be clear, I decided not to put hem in order from the best to the worst so the #3 isn't necessarily the 3rd best. Honorable mentions: S1: Sterling Labatte 16g 86a 102pts +93 77H 93sb Of course I had to mention the very first winner and the older of this trophy name. During that season, Labatte was great and that's why he won the Orr trophy. Like mention earlier, he won 2 other orr trophy as the best defenceman of the year. It's logic that he had a +93 season because he was on a good team but he made the team great so that is deserve. S5 Joey Kendrick 22g 112a 134pts +67 35H 113sb Like Labatte, he was a star defenceman in the early year of the league and this S5 umbelivable season shows it. He might not be very present physically with only 35 hits but you can't say no to a 134 points defenceman on your team. A lot more hits and a little bit more shots blocked and he was officially in my list. S74 Condor Adrienne 28g 82a 110pts +33 242H 176sb I wanted to add a more recent winner on my list because before there were less player so every player (or near) would finish the season with 80+ points. I think Adrienne is a good choice for an honorable mention. A great 110 points season with 28 goals, 242 hits and 176 shots blocked is fantastic number. Now that the honorable mentions are done, let's start the list! 1- S20: Patrick Bergqvist 30g 114a 144pts +46 135H 159sb Bergqvist had the 2nd best point production in a season in the history of the league right behind David Walcott in S26. He led his team in point that year and was playing 29 to 30 minutes per game. That is why I have him in the 3 best. 2- S51: Black Velvet 23g 98a 121pts +92 221H 95sb In his 4th season, Velvet went off and won his first Sterling Labatte trophy of his carrer. While putting up numbers with a great team, he was also present phisycally with his 221 hits and his 95 blocked shot. He also won another Starling Labatte trophy the next year. Overall, he had a fantastic career. 3- S32 Elijah Incognito 31g 96a 127pts +67 239H 159sb Finally, Incognito had a fantastic season in S32 and that's why he won this trophy. He put up great numbers and was there to help his team win with his 159sb. He won the Sterling Labatte trophy only one time and it was a dominant season. And that is it! Thanks for reading this article and have a great day! 550 words
  12. 1- Have the player choose their number every time they change of team so the team can retire that number if you played great with one team and never change your number 2- Have some rivality in the sim. I know there is always one that the GM's are creating but it can be cool if the sim can detect the rivality or someone can press a button or something like that so the games will have lots more hits and fights. 3-Have a locker room in the VHL site.
  13. 1- I love Rock and before every hockey games, I put some in the locker room. 2- Every morning before the game. It's essential for success. 3- I arrive at the arena 5 hours before the game, I have lunch/dinner there and I welcome the mascot, every player and every coach with an high five. 4- My pre-game ritual, that's it. 5- When I was 11 years old I played horrible for 10 straight games and we lost all of them so I change it for the one I am using now. 6-Never! Changing it if I am bad is ok but I once said this to my ritual: Never gonna give you up. (You just got rickrolled).
  14. J'adore Trois-Rivières! Go Lions Go! (For people who aren't bilingual, this is french)
  15. 1-Not really and I am still very happy to produce that much points. 2-They're great. Trading for me was their best move and because of them, we have a chance to win the cup. 3- Maybe, but if I am developping very fast, I will go play in the VHL but if not, I might play a year in the VHLE. 4-English would be my first choice because you can travel everywhere in the world, speak english and they'll still understand what you say (btw, my first language is frech so I'm not cheating!) 5- I don't know. Maybe... Otto or car (because car in french is: auto so the people not bilingual won't understand and it woudl be funny.) 6- Maybe playoff mvp but at the beginning of the year, I thought I had a shot at the MVP but Duncan Montana is on fire.
  16. 1- What are your thoughts on the team performance so far this season? I'm pretty happy. A 9-2-1 record is very solid and I think we can keep that up. 2- Is your player performing how you expected them to? My player is on fire and I would love him to do so for the rest of the year and for the playoffs. 3- Do you think management needs to make any transactions? Maybe a third defence pair and a backup goalie but for the rest we are pretty stack. 4-Do we have a shot at making the playoffs, or will we end up choking hard? I mean, we HAVE to make the playoffs with that team. We are too good to miss the playoffs. 5-How do you feel about your ice-time? Are you comfortable with the amount of minutes? Yeah, Z is makig me play everywhere and I like it. 27 minutes per game for a forward is a lot and I will not complain. 6-Finnaly, do you want to stay in Mississauga pr do you want oit of here? I want to stay! I want to win back to back founder's cup!
  17. Sorry, I accidentaly posted it when it wasn't done. I'm doing it right now
  18. Hello everyone! Hoping you're having a good day. Earlier today, I was looking at the S80 VHL Entry draft and I saw that pretty much every top player in this draft started this year pretty strong and I am curious to see who will be drafted 1st overall! And by this moment, I had the idea to made my own Mock Draft (Top 5 for the first one and top 10 after). I'm just going to do another Mock draft a few times during S79 so I can see which prospects went up in my Mock draft and which dropped. Let's start and enjoy! 1-Xavier Boomberry Goalie/ Houston Bulls/ 6'6"/ 249lb./ 222 TPE This american goalie is having a great start in Houston with a 911 SV% and a 2.50 GAA. He's big and he's playing like a potential franchise goalie on a rebuiding team. I can see him going at the number one spot only if the team with the 1st overall pick need a goalie. He also made the WJC a year before his VHL draft year which is pretty good. If he continue to be that good, he'll go 1st overall. 2-Matty Fire Center/ Miami Marauders/ 6'4"/ 215lb./ 199 TPE Fire is a great Center this year and he's developping pretty fast, averaging 15 to 25 TPE per week. A lot of team would love to get an all around Center like him, he's big, he's a good skater and he can play a good 200 foot game whit a lot of offensive pottential. With a great 8 points in 7 games, he's maybe not the 2nd best player of the draft but he has the best potential. I can see him going out 2nd overall. 3- Kyle Peace Left Wing/ Saskatoon Wild/ 5'11"/ 180lb./ 208 TPE Peace is having a great year with Saskatoon, having 5 goals, 11 points in only 8 games. He's a little bit smaller but he can play with grit and he can be great at offense and defence. One of his goal was on the PK due to his great vision on the ice and his high Hockey IQ. Peace have the potential to be a 1st line Left Wing in the VHL and that is why I put him a the 3rd spot. 4-Hari Singh Nalwa Defenceman/ Miami Marauders/ 6'8"/ 205lb./ 178 TPE Nalwa is an offensive deffenceman who doesn't neglect his defensive size of the game. Probabely the best power play specialist on this list with his great shot and his great hockey IQ, he's also pretty solid on defence and he can also play a physical game when a forward is near the boards. Right now, I see him going at number 4 but he can easily be picked in the top 3. 5-Vinny Detroit Left Wing/ Mississauga Hounds/ 6'8"/ 250lb./ 215 TPE Vinny Detroit is a big forechecking left wing who isn't scare (with how bid he is, it's the other players who should be scared) to play a phisycal game. He's already at 30 hits in only 8 games. The only things, Detroit need to improve a little bit his offensive size of the game to be more complete and for a forechecking forward like him, he's not the best at defence but I'm sure he will work on that and if he will, a lot of manager would love to get him and I will probabely put him at the 3rd or 4th slot. 605 words
