Hello and welcome to another episode of me trying to write up a PT each week! This week's episode will include me talking about my S87 player Randy Bobandy, the Houston Bulls, and some other random stuff to get to 500 words. So to start off, Bobandy is extremely close to that 200 TPE mark without even being drafted to the VHLM. I think this is really cool for me because in only 5 weeks of updating I have been able to do this. Compared to my previous player who took like 6-7 weeks, I am pretty proud of myself for being on top of things and pushing for the highest TPE in my draft class. Going up against members like Alex and V.2 makes this even more impressive since I know those members will have incredible careers with their new players, and always be on their A game when it comes to earning. Bobandy is eligible to play in the VHLE next season too, completely skipping a full season in the VHLM and on pace to play in the VHL by S87. I am excited to play in the E since I wasn't able to with my previous player, and it just goes to show that my work with earning TPE is starting to show off. I have the choice of choosing which VHLE team Bobandy plays on which is super cool as well. Moving on to Houston. We had a rough season in S85, with bans and trading players away due to our position in the standings. Next season isn't looking the brightest either, but atleast this time we have two players returning including a 100+ TPE goalie which is essential in the VHLM. I predict we will be middle of the pack this season and hoping for a lot of waiver signings with the new waiver system. We have three picks this draft, which isn't great, but I'm learning from my mistakes each season and should be able to turn this team into a contender by S87. The future is only looking brighter the longer I GM this team, and I really want to build a great franchise in Houston while I am there. With Minion on my side too as AGM, I know he is always around to help the team and the community we build within it. For the "other stuff" I mentioned in the opening paragraph, I wanted to talk a bit about where Bobandy will get drafted by my predictions. Number 1 is Seattle. I loved my time there under Bana's power, and everyone I got to play with are amazing people. There were never any bad times while I was on that team, and I won my first cup there too! So going back would be pretty nice for me. Bana has also made some trades that make me believe Seattle will have a spot for me when the time comes. Another team I have always liked is Moscow. Spartan, like Bana, always seems to have no problems when it comes to building his roster. Moscow I believe has been to the cup finals like 5 times the last 6 seasons, so going to a known winning team would be great. Lastly, the Los Angeles Stars would be a happy destination for me. My previous player was drafted to LA and I do like what IR has done with the team since. I think LA will be great very soon after their rebuild and I would be happy being apart of that. I was going to say Warsaw for dlamb, but he's gone now so never mind I guess. I honestly don't care where I get drafted since I feel like I can mesh with anyone and play anywhere. I am very excited to see where Bobandy goes, but the VHLE is the first step before then. I didn't proof read any of this so hopefully it kind of makes sense, I just want my 6 TPE to lead my draft class.

Congrats you two!!

Hey VHLE fans and GMs, if you see this I just wanted to confirm that Randy Bobandy will NOT be playing in the VHLM for S86. I’d like to experience the VHLE next season for the first time in my VHL career since my last player didn’t get the chance to. Bobandy is currently leading his S87 draft class in TPE, he is a two way center, and I hope to keep him growing as a defensively strong centerman. I’ll only be playing one season in the VHLE next season before heading to the VHL in S87, but just wanted to make it clear I won’t be returning to the VHLM!

I don’t really know if this is off topic, but just wondering if anyone wants to give ideas on how to make a VHLM experience better. What do first gens want, what do recreates want, let me know. I plan to do a weekly news article about Houston/ The league next season, but besides that what else could I do?

If you are even the smallest bit involved in the VHLM, you will know the user @Shindigs and his mighty Las Vegas Aces. Shindigs took over the team in S83 after the stepdown of MubbleFubbles. Since then, Shindigs has managed his team to perfection, winning back to back Founder's Cups in S83 and S84, while at the same time winning two Prime Minister's Cups (Best Regular Season Record). Currently in his third season under management, Shindigs has lead his team to another Prime Minister's Cup and is heading to a third consecutive Founder's Cup Final after winning the last two. The Aces will face the Philadelphia Reapers this season in the finals, and after meeting 9 times this season, Vegas heads into this series winning 5 of 9. This looks to be a close upcoming series, but Philadelphia is only a pond to Shindig's game. Here I will give some short examples of why Shindigs needs to be stopped for his dirty ways. Example 1: Juan Ceson User @dylanjj37 is a recreate member known for his lengthy VHLM careers with his players. His currently player, Juan Ceson, was obviously a player created to play "one season", as it literally says it in the name. Ceson was drafted to the Saskatoon Wild but shortly after was traded to the Las Vegas Aces under the power of MubbleFubbles. All seemed normal and fair until Shindigs took over the Aces the next season and used his Swedish influence to keep user dylanjj37 in Vegas for more than one season. I have no evidence of this but trust me bro. Their conversations in the Swedish language would become dangerous, as Juan Ceson is still currently a player for the Las Vegas organization, completely going against his original plans of only playing one season. This just goes to show that Shindigs is a Swedish manipulator and probably an undercover agent of the SII (Swedish Investigators of IKEA). Example 2: Las Vegas Doesn't Lose Does it not mind boggle everyone that Vegas has not lost a season under the power of Shindigs? This goes back to my manipulator idea and he obviously manipulated the BOG team to get him on the squad. This would result in Shindigs cheating by having the same powers as user @MexicanCow123, and therefore resulting in Shindigs using these powers to make Cow give Vegas the best sims. This can also be seen as fellow BOG member @Beketov was the simmer for the VHLM last season. I don't know what goes on in the blues discord chat, but I can assure you it is all bad things to destroy the VHLM by keeping Vegas in the trophy case. Example 3: I Created This Monster I am one to blame for the monster I created in Shindigs. When Shindigs joined the VHL, he chose Miami for his first player to play on. With his funny graphics of The Board Game Clue On Skates surfacing, myself and Mubble were Vegas' GM and AGM at the time, and thought it was a good idea to invite this foreigner to our discord channel. This was hands down my biggest regret of my VHL career. Shindigs was too nice and active, spreading his roots around the league after joining our locker room. We thought this innocent member was cool and we helped him learn about the league, but this would soon end up with Shin taking over our Vegas team in S83, and then destroying the league. Conclusion In conclusion, this media spot is not serious at all and I thought it would be funny and good clickbait. Shindigs obviously has not destroyed the VHLM, he is just a really good GM. I love Shin, he is a huge part of the VHL community and deserves everything he has gotten out of Vegas. I am extremely happy to see him succeed with Vegas, coming from a Vegas GM alumni, and I do hope he can win another cup before resigning. Thanks for everything you do Shin and good luck in the finals this season! Sorry that the title was misleading, I just need views and reactions.

1. I doubt another sweep will happen. I believe we play either SDM or LVA next, SDM has a strong team especially up from with their forwards, and LVA is good all around. 2. It would be a great matchup, but I’d rather take the easier team in SDM so we can get to the cup. No hate towards SDM, LVA is just really good. 3. I’m in London now so I hope to catch some Knights games! That team is always good and the arena is always packed with fans too. 4. At the moment Swayman is our saviour, so definitely him. 5. Recreate Addicted 6. 100%. I barely eat them now and then after a year I can eat as many as I want.

I have not done a Media Spot or actually done decent work for my TPE, so I will attempt to get back in the groove here and give you lovely VHL members an update on my new player, Randy Bobandy. So at the S85 TDL I decided that my first player AJ Williams was in need of retirement. He had a great career with 231 goals and 484 points in 432 games played. I had one more season of playing to do before official retirement, but I lost all motivation to earn with that player and just needed a fresh start. Williams did win a cup with Seattle in S83 after being traded that pre season from Los Angeles, but since then I didn't really have the spark and love for that player anymore. Williams was my first generation player, so I am happy with what I did over the year I had him. It was an awesome first experience, but now it is Bobandy time. Being the GM of the Houston Bulls, you would think I would recreate and join the team I run. WRONG. I want to be a winner, and the Mexico City Kings was the team I chose to go with. Mexico wasn't statistically the best team this season, heck they were 9th in the league for the whole first half of the season. The reason I chose Mexico is for one, Houston was not in a playoff spot and I sold our top players to build for next season, so a cup this season with our underdeveloped depth was out of reach. Second reason I chose Mexico is because Alex messaged me asking where I want to go with my new player, saying that himself and some other recreates wanted to head to Mexico to build an underdog story heading into the playoffs. I am an easy going guy and I like winning, so combine those two things together and I agreed to join Alex in Mexico along with the other recreates. The third reason I chose Mexico is because of their GM, Cole. Cole is all around a great person for this league and the team. I swear he does not sleep, so he is always on discord and in that locker room which is super nice for us players. I have not really talked much in that locker room since I have others to pay more attention to, but from the short times I have been in there it was a good place to be, so I am happy I chose the Kings. Bobandy is a center, which is a bit of a different direction from my previous player who was a winger. I was debating making another winger but I wanted to spice it up a bit. I love forwards too much so I knew I was not making a defenseman, and there is a lot of goalies being made, so I knew that was pointless. I also really like the centreman position since it almost forces you to max earn. You have to worry about faceoff and strength attributes, which requires a decent amount of TPE. I hope to eventually get my faceoff and strength attributes to the 85-90 range, but we will see as time goes on. I also want my centreman to be defense heavy, meaning I want a two way build. High defense is just good for STHS anyways, and then the scoring will come with it too. I am really excited to build this player and I hope down the line in the VHL I can be paired up with some fast skating, sharpshooting wingers. Taking a look at my former teammate Jonathan Ori's build, he is a high passing centremen with lower defense than I want. He is an apple wizard with 300 assists in 500 games played. I think I could possibly build my center to be pass heavy too but with higher defense for more takeaways, defensive coverage, and just better center attributes. Going back to being paired with good wingers, I feel like my player can make a dent in the league with some good line mates. Talking about making a dent in the league, Bobandy played 20 games to finish S85 for Mexico and had 5 goals for 15 points. I guess that is not really making a dent, but if you think about it, my player was around the 100 TPE mark for all of those games while playing against teams that pretty well all had capped out goalies and players too. I would say almost getting a point per game against those tendys is good. I do also LOVE how my +/- was +21. My team plays good, I play good, we get good +/-. Skipping forward to playoffs, Mexico had the 4th seed this season and matched up against Saskatoon in the first round. I was not sure how things would play out since we had this brand new team with all the recreates, playoffs are a whole different story than the regular season, and Saskatoon has Minion in net. Minion's goalie was arguably the best in the VHLM this season, leading the league in SV% with a 0.921 rating. That is a bit scary heading into playoffs and having to play against him every game. But things really swung Mexico's way and we brought the brooms out for a beautiful sweep. Swayman was easily our MVP this round with 2 shutouts, 0.961 SV%, a 0.75 GAA. That is insane and the man was literally standing on his head. Bobandy was a bit quiet with only 2 assists in those 4 games, but who cares when you win every game right. I joined this team to win, which we are clearly doing, so there is nothing to be disappointed about here. I think that next round we match up against either Vegas or San Diego. Personally I would want to play San Diego since Vegas won the last two seasons and are the favorites again to win. Shindigs is also the GM and I know that guy knows everything about STHS and how to win on it, so that also scares me for next round. Looking at both teams too, Vegas is by far more depth heavy and their defense are all super strong. San Diego has two defensemen that are under 100 TPE, so you can probably understand what I am saying. To end this media spot I just want to say how happy I am to have a new player and a new start. I hope this player can have a great career with whatever team drafts me. I really do not care where I go since I think I can be part of something great with any team. Randy Bobandy is about to be a VHL god.
