    @leandrofg Congrats!!
  3. STEAL ALERT
  4. Welcome back!
  5. AJ Williams is becoming a boomer and is an old man heading into his 7th season. He has enough experience now to be considered a veteran, and enough of a beer belly to be considered a goat to the league. Williams has been through the highs and lows in this league. Starting with a bottom tier Ottawa Lynx team in S78, to a Founder's Cup Finalist team with Mississauga in S79. Williams then spent 3 seasons with the Stars where they found no success after the first round of playoffs, and then moved to the Seattle Bears for two seasons where they went 2/2 for Cup Finals, and 1/2 for Cup wins. Williams has done it all so far (besides individual awards but I don't really care because I won a cup muhahah), so what's next? He has two seasons left with one more season signed to the Bears. I honestly don't know what will happen. Seattle is always pushing for a cup and you could be staying one season or gone the next due to salary cap. I have a feeling I'll be staying since my player has done really well for the team the last two seasons. S83: 52G, 106P regular season, 2nd on team points. 12G, 23P Playoffs, 2nd on team points. S84: 36G, 86P regular season, 1st on team points. 10G, 21P Playoffs, 3rd on team points. So you could say I'm one of Seattle's most valuable players at the moment (toot your horn a little more there AJ). But you really never know what's best for the team. I would love to finish off my contract with Seattle and we go for another cup. The people Bana brings to this team are always awesome and the locker room is a safe place to be from the nasty VHL world. Bana is also a really great GM as well. He's always on the PW texting me late which I love because I'm usually drinking as well, and he's all around a good guy in my opinion. He's loyal to his club and always looks for the best outcome for us players. Even if I leave the team I'll still text him asking how the PW is feeling. For my 8th season... There is potential that I test out the market for a new team. This is a 1% chance at the moment since I kind of have a crush on Seattle. But if the team isn't a cup contender in S86, I could be finding a new home, because why wouldn't you want to go for a cup in your last season. It would be cool to play for dlamb again in Warsaw since that is who my player's first GM was. LA would be nice as well since they are on the come up and drafted my player in S79. Chicago would be a fun destination so I could play with Shin and Mubble to reignite our Las Vegas trio. And then I've always liked the way Spartan has controlled his team, so Moscow could be in the mix. But anyways, my goal is to stay with Seattle as long as I can to finish up my first player's career. I've been popping off there and so has the team, so why fix it if it ain't broken.
  6. Congrats Wolf!! That is amazing!

  11. Press Conference - Week Ending August 28 1. The Off-Season is here! What are you most excited about heading into the next season? 2. Warsaw is the Continental Cup Champs. Did you predict them to win? Was this a surprise to you? 3. Which VHL team is your favourite? Why? 4. Who was your favourite teammate this season? If you don't have one, what player stood out to you on our team? 5. Where is somewhere you would like to travel? 6. How was your weekend?
  12. GGs Warsaw! Hell of a series
  13. Weaver and Cooke combo lives on
  14. Hello and welcome to the Houston Bulls S84 Team Awards! This was such a fun season, thank you to all the players and the Houston Bulls fanbase... if we even have one. Team MVP The team MVP award for this season was voted amongst the players on the Bulls roster. We actually got a tie in the votes and the award will be split! Both of these players were with us since game 1 and had very impressive seasons. The winners are: Todd Cooke @l1l KRZY l9l Bill Nye The Puck Stopping Guy @Big Newff Top Forward The Top Forward award goes to the player who was easily seen as our top guy when it came to producing offence. This was a no brainer and with 43G, 45A, and 88P in 72GP, the award goes to: Todd Cooke @l1l KRZY l9l Top Two-Way Forward The Top Two-Way Forward award is going to a player who may not have been our highest scorer, but he was surely up there in the point category while doing his job in our defensive zone. With a stat line of 72GP, 31G, 36A, 67P, +36, 136H, and 39SB, the award goes to: Brayden Albrecht @Gage2 Top Defenseman Just like the Top Forward award, this one was no brainer. This player was with us since game 1 and has been our backbone of the blueline all season long. With a stat line of 72GP, 18G, 61A, 79P, +42, 123H, and 106SB, the award goes to: Jani Karppinen @ShawnGlade Top Goalie You can probably see a trend of no brainers here. The Top Goalie award is well deserved for a guy who came out of no where at the beginning of the season and put a dent in the league, helping Houston majorly with our success in S84. With 40 wins, 0.903SV%, 2.36GAA, and 5 shutouts, the award goes to: Bill Nye The Puck Stopping Guy @Big Newff Playoff MVP The Playoff MVP award goes to a player who may not have started off strong with us once traded from San Diego, but when the game was on the line, he stood up for the team and played top performance games each night. With 12 points in 7 games played, and leading our team in points through the playoffs, the award goes to: Phil Strasmore @Phil Locker Room MVP The Locker Room MVP award goes to a guy who was hyping up the team each and every night. I'm talking speeches, hype up videos, gifs, you name it. This person was always seen in the locker room and the team obviously appreciated the activity everyday. The award goes to: ISAMUUUU @TMGSosa Now you may be thinking, where is the top goal scorer award? Top playmaker? Well go look at the portal and check the team stats lol. I feel as if those awards don't need to be a thing as we all know who would win them. But these are the S84 Team Awards for the Houston Bulls! Short and sweet this season. I hope to have more ideas for awards next season but I am brain dead as of late. Also, while I have you here. I would like to acknowledge the entire team on their TPE earnings this season. Everyone worked extremely hard in earning TPE, so I feel the need to showcase your great efforts! Ash Sparks @DarkSpyro: 50 TPE -> 128 TPE (+78) Bill Nye The Puck Stopping Guy @Big Newff: 66 TPE -> 172 TPE (+106) Brayden Albrecht @Gage2: 60 TPE -> 146 TPE (+86) Daniel Weaver @ThePerfectNut: 189 TPE -> 353 TPE (+164) Todd Cooke @l1l KRZY l9l: 189 TPE -> 288 TPE (+99) Jani Karppinen @ShawnGlade: 122 TPE -> 225 TPE (+103) Izaak bobs @izaak: 127 TPE -> 165 TPE (+38) Isamu Knievel @TMGSosa: 107 TPE -> 206 TPE (+99) Joel Rogers @Jrocket09: 78 TPE -> 120 TPE (+42) Yaroslav Bogatyrev @Bojovnik: 75 TPE -> 171 TPE (+96) Daryl Dixon @Ricer13: 80 TPE -> 166 TPE (+86) Rick Grimes @tinafrombobsburgers: 79 TPE -> 143 TPE (+64) Johnny Kalamazoo @KzooJohn: 72 TPE -> 133 TPE (+61) *Players included are waiver signed and drafted players only. Players that were traded to the team were basically all capped TPE already* You all did so amazing! Thank you again for all the hard work you put in this season! I appreciate it so much as a GM and I love seeing you all growing and being happy about your players. That concludes the awards ceremony, congratulations to all the winners!
  15. kooooooobeeeeeeee
  16. This made me laugh, great article!
  17. Not surprised at all, best of luck in the E and hopefully the Frenchman can become another Idaho
  18. Press Conference - Week Ending August 21 1. How did your S84 season go? Besides the upsetting early exit lol. 2. How did I do as a GM this season? Any suggestions for improvements? 3. What are your player's plans for next season? 4. Are you excited for the upcoming drafts? What are you expectations for your player? 5. How has life been treating you lately? Anything new going on? 6. Lastly, give me 3-5 words describing the Houston Bulls.
  19. Updaters aren’t allowed to approve any of their own submissions, have to get a different updater to do it
  20. If only GMs could see Isamu in the locker room hyping the squad up daily, he’d be number 1 on everyone’s list
  21. Honestly I was a bit underwhelmed this week. His .com article only gave me a quick chuckle and there weren’t enough angry VHLers in the comments. Sad to say it but I think you’re right. I hope Ruutu can bounce back to his prime days soon.
  22. @Spartan You gotta draft this legend. Bring him back home
  23. Best of luck with Oslo next season, can’t wait to see you move up to LA soon too!
