It's dumb.  But CIA deserved to go in a little whole ago and I think it's time for him.

It basically turns the VHLE into the KHL where young prospects play less time than most and typically don't put up top notch statistics.

The VHLM is still going to be a favorable option to most for sure.

If there is a league that makes sense for recreates to skip, it's definitely the M. I think it's better to have those roster spots for new players, and in turn, those new players have a better chance of being someone who dominates, as opposed to a recreate that likely doesn't care about M stats. We could always make it so that a recreate must declare VHLM Draft eligibility, and if they don't, then they don't get drafted in the VHLM and instead go to their VHLE team. They'll get smacked around and maybe get to go to the VHL the season after, but whatever. 

 

I generally am not one for catering to whining or skipping the M, but I think giving those that don't care about it the ability to go get beat up in the E and let new guys get better playing time is in the M's best interest anyway. 

Not to mention, a lot of members will still choose to start in the VHLM, so its not like its gonna kill depth in the minors.  I think its a pretty workable option that really maybe gives some better roster size situations in the VHLM.  So when it comes to finding ways to improve on that, I think this is a small change that should help.

Yea people still think a person sweeping the ballot means it wasn't even close.  Sometimes that person was just slightly better all around and everyone sees it.

Yeah I've always been someone who has no issue with people knowing who I voted for.  Always feel I can back up whatever I vote.

I know not everyone feels the same way though.  It's something I'd like to see in theory but concerned as well that it would lead to some not so ideal situation in the future.
