  1. We can't beat anyone lol. At least we'll have a goalie for the next wave of sims.
  2. http://www.vhlforum.com/index.php?/topic/792-alexander-chershenko-trophy/&do=findComment&comment=2744 186 by Evgeni Fyodorov in S21 Good luck Wow. I'll shoot for half of that.
  3. Anyone know the single season record for goals by one player?
  4. Oslo claims Artom Zhumbayev
  5. VHLM Top Goal Scorers 1. LeAndre St. Pierre (OTT) – 18 St. Pierre has been on a tear through the first 14 games of the season, registering 18 goals on 123 shots on goal. He has been getting himself into position to score on almost every shift, peppering each goaltender he faces with numerous shots. Averaging almost 9 shots per game, St. Pierre is on pace for some legendary stats and should be able to continue his outrageous goal scoring pace all the way into the playoffs. 2. Travis Willcox (OTT) – 13 Willcox is currently in second place with 13 goals on the year, despite taking only 69 shots thus far. He has been ultra-efficient on the Lynx’s top line by cleaning up a lot of the shots St. Pierre has been throwing on net. He is a smart player who gets to the tough areas and uses his veteran experience to be in the right place at the right time. It will be interesting to see if he maintains his spot in the top five throughout the season. 3. Markus Muller (BRP) – 12 Muller finds himself in third place with 12 goals, even though he is in second place in total points thus far this season. Muller plays for a Brampton team with a lot of talent and has been the leader of that offense. He also gets a lot of shots on goal, connecting on just under 13 percent of his shots. While he has a long way to go to catch St. Pierre, he definitely has a shot to overtake him for the top goal scorer in the league. T3. Shawn Muller (MOS) – 12 The other Muller, Shawn, also checks in at number three with 12 goals. Shawn has only taken 65 shots so far, putting him far ahead of St. Pierre and Muller in terms of efficiency. Shawn is one of the most physical forwards in the league, resulting in a lot of chances off takeaways that most players don’t get the luxury of having. Moscow will also be a top three team in the league come playoff time, making his offensive sustainability among one of the best in the league. T3. Pete Stockton (BRP) – 12 Also coming in third place is Pete Stockton. Pete has the talent to be the top goal scorer in the league, but he plays on a top line with two other studs who take away from some of his production. He does get his shots in, recording 107 so far this season – good enough for second in the league. While his 11.2 shooting percentage does leave a lot to be desired, Stockton should start cashing in more often on his opportunities in the near future.

  9. Ewww no points and a loss.
  10. Topic title fail. Should have said dos points. Yay for the player store
  11. It is now week 2 of season 46 and LeAndre St. Pierre still has a commanding lead in the VHLM points category. He currently stands at 37 points - 12 higher than the next closest player (Marcus Muller). He also leads the league in goals with 18 and assists with 19. While no one expects St. Pierre to win the "triple crown" (league leader in points, goals, and assists) it is impressive to see such a dominating individual performance early on. While he only has 19 training hours left until he reaches his cap for the VHLM, St. Pierre should continue to grow solely on the fact that he gains more experience with each passing game. On a side note, the Oslo Storm (the team his coach GM's) has gotten off to a horrible start and have begun to trade away their talent for draft picks. They just acquired a 1st round pick in season 48 from Brampton and are closing in on another deal that could bring multiple second round picks to Oslo.
  12. I thought Coca Cola was still on my team, but I guess he's listed as a FA here. So Oslo signs Coca Cola as our inactive FA.

  16. Depending on what you think of well thought out. I have seen details just like you that so far have given the impression that a few of these (7 were reported) were basic attacks with guns in a crowded room. I mean it's not far fetched to believe terrorists know where highly populated places are going to be. Not to mention getting past security at a concert is not like breaking into Ft. Knox. I mean two individuals walking into a concert and opening fire is easily doable given the access to the event and knowledge of when it takes place. I'm not saying it's directly effected but as @atw2592 stated, ISIS members are located in more places than we can think of. I agree that they want everyone to be afraid but so do a lot of news agencies to a point where they scare you out of thinking logically and intelligently and make you a sheep. (Not saying you guys are, just individuals who trust media sources as a full-proof source). I said that last sentence because CNN and FOX News are both driven by their own agenda (fuelled by the US government it seems). I'm interested to here your take on this next question, but how do you see these "free" nations going about attacking them? It's not as easy as people think. You can't just walk in and have air strikes over villages to hope and pray you kill a majority of ISIS members in a select population. That breaks sooooooo many international human rights violations and laws. To eliminate ISIS it has to be performed on the ground in a stealth operation, because they are lethal and will eliminate anyone they even suspects of being ears on the outside. For anyone who didn't know, not that it matters in the grand scheme of this but the concert was a Eagles of Death Metal concert (frontman Josh Homme was the lead singer in Queens of the Stone Age). That's minor details and I pray from the families of the victims. I think you'd have to start at the source. In Syria or where ever else our intelligence thinks they're located. But at the same time since ISIS recruits have popped in a lot of places outside of the Middle East (US, Russia, France specifically) I think we need a joint effort between all the nations worldwide to eliminate them in each specific area. I was joking with my girlfriend about doing an "ethnic cleansing" of middle easterners located in other countries, but on second thought I think the events in Paris tonight have maybe gotten realistically close to those exact measures. Any rumors of ISIS groups popping up in other areas need to be attended to immediately. These guys are no fucking joke and if we continue to stand idly by things are going to get way worse. And I don't think our country (US) or the rest of the world is fit to handle that right now. We can't be scared as fuck of them like we are right now.
  17. The attack was most likely carried out by ISIS members already located in France. There are ISIS recruits located throughout the world, but that doesn't mean that we can't react to what has happened. If the world wasn't taking these terrorists seriously before the Paris attacks, we better be now. We'd be naive not to.
  18. I bet you would win most multis :3 Give me a couple of shitty seasons as a VHLM GM and that would probably be true.
  19. It consumed me tonight. If you look past the bullshit the media tries to feed you, it really is captivating. This is the type of shit that leads to world unrest. This is by far the worst thing that has happened in the ISIS era and whether they are responsible or not, we have to fight back. Put and end to this before it escalates even further. I know if a fire is burning inside of myself, it is burning inside of many other people with much more power than I have.
  20. Good thing I'm not in the VHL yet or else I'd have swept this article
