  1. Welcome!
  2. Miami Marauder Regular Season Awards Season 96 Record: 40-26-6 4th place Eastern Conference The season is over so it’s time for the first Annual Miami Marauder awards presentation. Now being a Marauder comes with some perks. Such as a morning wakeup message from GM @Ricer13, the occasional visit from @ScottyP where he says nothing much at all, and the play by play of @Chillybro dating life. It’s a fun LR and a great group of people. So, without wasting any more time, here are the S96 Miami Marauder Award Winners. SHIVER ME TIMBERS AWARD- Most Hits- This award goes out to the nastiest Marauder who led the regular season in hits. A team needs a few smash mouth style players and there is no doubt our winner brings that to the table and even his name invokes fear even into his fellow pirates. The winner is: Boris Bone Breaker @RileyL 231 hits Runner up- Don Jagr @koty_k. 182 hits AYE AYE AWARD- assist leader- The Aye Aye award is for the ultimate teammate that would rather set up his fellow pirates then snipe one himself. Not that he can’t or is unwilling but is selfless in his approach to the game. Selfless is the best word to describe this Marauder as he amazing on the ice and in the locker room. A true teammate in every sense of the word. So…. The winner is: Luc Moreau @minman (40 assists) Runner up: Don Jagr @koty_k(35 assists) MAN O’ WAR AWARD- Most PIMS- Every pirate ship needs an enforcer to keep other pirates and foes in line. Already a tough group before @Ricer13 went out and acquired this maniac whose favorite past time is the reason he got his name. A literal bone crusher this stud came in hot to the club and even though he’s a physical beast he could also put up some decent numbers. Winner is- Boris Bone Breaker @RileyL- 160 Runner Up: Don Jagr 119 @koty_k SCURVY DOG AWARD- Blocked Shots- It takes a special kind of animal to be willing to stand in front of a 100mph clapper and take it over and over and over again. This stat above all others makes VHLM goalies smile and luckily for Miami they have a stable of defenders willing to take the sting. Winner is Boris Bone Breaker @RileyL 106 SB Runner up: Don Jagr @koty_k 88 ANCHOR AWARD- The word Anchor has several definitions. One is, “a heavy object attached to a rope or chain used to moor a vessel to the sea bottom.” Another and more fitting definition is, “a person or thing that can be relied on for support, stability, or security.” This player was easily our best for most the season and kept us in most games and won us games by standing on his head. 35 wins and 6 shutouts he is an elite goaltender. Winner is: Draw Mac @okochastar 35-22-6 2.19 GAA 6 SO SEA DOG AWARD- This award goes out to our leading scorer in the regular season. Night after night this player showed up and no matter what line or situation continuously showed up and scored for the club. Despite having a down year points wise compared to last he is already top 10 all-time in franchise for goals scored which is impressive. Winner is: Jacob Longstreet @Dynamicmlb_42 28g-32a-60 points SCALLYWAG AWARD- Game winning goals- A team much like a marauding ship needs that clutch player who can score when the game is on the line. This player was our leading scorer and showed up every night ready to play hard and win. Scored 7 GWG’s on the season to lead the Marauders and is #2 all-time in franchise history with 18 GWGs. Winner is - Jacob Longstreet @Dynamicmlb_42 7 GWG Runner up- Marek Nowaczyk @Chillybro 6 GWG PILLAGE AWARD- Penalty shot goals- There is no bigger dagger in the heart than allowing a penalty shot goal for a goalie. One on one, player vs player it takes the heart of a true pirate to score more than one or two penalty shot goals in a season. This player did it 4 times!! A pass first player known for his ability to see the ice and make great plays he became the most clutch goal scorer when it came to penalty shots. Winner is: Elf Shoes @ELF_SH0ES 4 PSG Runner up: Jacob Longstreet @Dynamicmlb_42 3 PSG Marek Nowaczyk @Chillybro 3 PSG TOP BUCCANEER AWARD- Team MVP- This award was the toughest to give just as it can be based on so many variables. Is it the point leader? Goalie? Best all-around defensive and offensive player? Difficult to say the least as Miami has many deserving players. For this year’s I boiled it down to several factors. This player as seen above is runner up in many categories such as hits, blocked shots, and assists. He is #1 in power play assists, #5 in points, # 2 in hits, #2 in SB, and even has a penalty kill point. Logged a lot of minutes in tough situations and is great in the locker room. While all four nominees are worthy of the honor the award goes to? Winner is: Don Jagr @koty_k 9g 35a 44pts -6 119 PIM Runner ups: Draw Mac @okochastar Jacob Longstreet @Dynamicmlb_42 Boris Bone-Breaker @RileyL PIRATE KING AWARD- The Pirate King Award goes to the player who received the most “Most Valuable Marauder” shout outs during the regular season. This year we had a total of 14 different Marauders earn the coveted MVM during the week. This year the overall award was a tie with 4 MVMs between two greats….. Winners are: Draw Mac @okochastar and Jacob Longstreet @Dynamicmlb_42 THREE SHEETS TO THE WIND AWARD- This goes to the Marauder who partakes in a little too much grog and rum. The winner is super easy even though he only played 16 games for the club. A solid, yet quiet contributor, Bazooka brings some humor and hangovers to the club. Winner is Bazooka Joe @ScottyP Congrats to all of you winners. Thank you all for being such a great group this season and making it fun for all (well most). @Ricer13 and I wish you the best in your VHL/VHLM careers and we hope to see you again whether in Miami or as your player moves on to the VHL. Hopefully, you all enjoyed your time in Miami. Marauders for life! 1074 words to claim for Dec 1 and Dec 8
  3. This week’s Marauder spotlight is a playoff addition as the Marauders find themselves down 3 games to 1 to a tough Mississauga club. The team has played each game tight and are hoping to turn it around and win the series. So far for the club, finding the back of the net has been tough mostly due to the great play by trade deadline acquisition Deadpanda @AlexAlex. He has been lights out each game and could easily be considered the best goalie in the M. That being said Miami has played competitive and a lot of that has to do with today’s spotlight Marauder, Luc Moreau @minman. Luc is known for his pass first ability and led Miami in the regular season with 40 assists. This off-season he leads the club with 3 goals in 4 games and is in the top 10 in playoff scoring with 5 points. Luc is a player that steps up in playoffs and the Marauders will need him to continue to get past a driven Hounds team. Great job Luc!
  4. Miami Marauder Press Conference – Week of December 1st 1. The Marauders are down 3-1 to the Hounds. All the games have been close. What do you think we need to do to gain the advantage? 2. Who do you think Miami’s rival is? Or should be? 3. What do you like about the VHL? 4. What do you dislike about VHL? 5. Would you ever consider a position in management? AGM? GM? Recruiter? etc 6. Earlier this week it was rumored that Marauder dmen, Bazooka Joe @ScottyP, Don Jagr @koty_k, and Boris Bone Breaker @RileyLRiley got into a bar fight in South Beach. 9 patrons went to the hospital with injuries while the trio was seen laughing and drinking nearby with sore knuckles. They denied their involvement and police released them at the scene. Should GM @Ricer13 take action or let it go?
  5. Welcome!!!
  6. Game Recap: #522 In Game #522 we saw what could be a Continental Cup matchup of the two first place teams of each division. To start the first period Moscow came out hot in front of their sold out home crowd with a goal from Jiilian Woods, her 24th of the season, assisted by Jarmo Ruttu. In the second, Moscow poured on the pain with two goals from David Rashford (45, 46). Pombo and Obuz Schneider Canet du Bocage both sniped rookie phenom Spider Panda leading to him being pulled by Calgary in the 2nd. Whatever happened at intermission by Calgary coach, the Wranglers came out flying in the 3rd. Two goals by S92 draftee Adi Dassler (40.41) and a clapper from Leif Reingaard at 11:27 of the third brought the Wranglers within one. But despite numerous chances in the third, Moscow goalile Joseph Reed refused to budge giving Moscow the win. Reed stopped 40-43 shots for his 42nd win on the season. A good look at a potential cup final with these two amazing teams.
  7. Miami Marauder Press Conference- Week of November 24, 2024 1. The playoffs are approaching and currently 4th in standings in the East. If we wree in the west we would be 1st place. Do you think the parody in the league is just because it’s the first season of the merge of the E? 2. Yesterday, Marek Nowaczyk @Chillybrohad his first fight as a Marauder and beat up an Ottawa player. Do you like to see your player fight? Do you wish it happened more? 3. Huge shoutout to Draw Mac @okochastar who the all-time shutout leader in Miami history with 13. Not much of a question but share some thougths? 4. Would you consider making an total Enforcer build with high fighting, checking, and grit? Do you think it would help a team to have such a build? 5. Who would you want to face in the first round of playoffs? 6. Does pineapple belong on pizza?
  8. My bad. Was running out of steam
  9. Last week I covered the North American division teams in their battle for playoff positions. So, this week I thought I’d cover the European conference in their quest to gain playoff positions in the next 12 or so games. MOSCOW MENACE: Holy Shit this team is good, EVERY YEAR! I am not sure how @Spartan does it but he continues to put amazing talent on the ice every year and still seem to get four first round picks in the next years draft. It appears after last year’s Victory cup curse and first round defeat they are angry and driven to win another cup. Stacked with talent they are led by a 1-2-3-4-5 combo with assist king Maverick Goncalves @leandrofg (96 points), George Richmond @badcolethetitan(95 points), Jarmo Ruutu @jRuutu (95 points), David Rashford @Knight(92 points), and Catia Goncalves @cLoWn (76 points). Oh but wait, there number 1 defender in Jillian Woods @jacobcarson877 has 88 points and #2 defender Obuz Schneider Canet du Bocage @Grape has 73 points as well. In net there stacked as well where event their backup is 8-0 with 2 shutouts. Their primary goalie, Joseph Reed @BrutalBoost is 39-11 with 3 shutouts as well. Moscow has 4 of the top 10 in scoring, a solid defense, and a top-notch goalie. Almost assured a Victory Cup again this season so only time will tell if the curse bites them again. If not, they will tough to beat. RIGA REIGN Last year’s champs bring back a solid core as they battle for 2nd place in the EU division. Their GM @Lemorse7 has made some off-season moves that might have made them better than last season. While they have a potent offense where they really shine is on the back end. The addition of veteran presence Mark Calaway @Beketov has really bolstered an already good defense. 25 goals this season and 78 points shows the wily veteran still has it in his bid to win a cup in his final season. Lucy Leitner @LucyXphertook the league by storm in S94 and in her third season she has not taken the foot off the gas. 17g-52a-69 pts so far, she is off to another great regular season. But come playoffs she might actually get better if last year is any indication. Next up is Fradin McGryer @Fradin99. A first gen bad ass that takes physicality to the next level with 1497 hits in his career. A steady gritty presence that will be needed come playoff time. Last and certainly not least is their goalie, Red Panda. 34-14-6 with 4 shutouts he wants a repeat Cup to his name. MALMO NIGHTHAWKS I think Malmo has the been team name in the league and are battling with Riga for that #2 spot in the EU. Led by defender Jacob Stone @scoop who has 91 points on the season with 70 assists. Phillip Rave @tcookie (90 points), Vicktor Jensen @Advantage (85 points), and Ronald Johnson MacWallace III @RJMW (76 points) they have the offense to compete nightly. Running with 3 defenders they don’t have the depth of other teams but I remember Warsaw in S85 winning the cup with the same makeup. In net, second year netminder Jorgen Lovstrom @Pifferfish has been amazing with 41 wins and 3 shutouts. Always consistent and it's crazy that in his first two seasons he has 73 wins in 104 games. I expect that in his career he will add a lot more trophies to his already sizable collection. DAVOS DYNAMO Ok while Malmo has the best team’s name, the Dynamo is my least favorite. But that’s just my opinion and despite the name they are consistently a great hockey club. GM @AlexAlex seems to find a way to keep them competitive. Pretty stacked club that scores by committee. Led by the brute himself, Grimgor Ironhide @FrostBeard who has 37 goals. My former teammate Owen Lazaro @traphag is having a great year with 72 points as well and 225 hits. Antonia Bucatini @CowboyinAmerica (68 points), Felicia Hardy @JCarson (67), Forum Content @frescoelmo (65), and defender Mina @Baozi(52) all perform consistently and can win the game for Davos on any given night. In net Merome Dilson @MexicanCow123 has been lights out with 30 wins, 2.32 GAA and 1 shutout. I think the one thing in Davos’s favor come playoffs is their physicality. Between 5 players on their club have a total of 892 hits so far. 3 points out of second place with some tough opponents to end the season we will see if they can climb up the standings. There ya have it. Best of luck EU 776
  10. So, for this week’s Miami Marauder spotlight I wanted to highlight some active players closing in some Miami records. Now Miami is known for fielding some aggressive gritty clubs that like to hit hard and scrap a bit. And, with the abolishment of the VHLE it’s possible that we can see some of these records broken as players hang around a bit longer. In the hitting department, Miami’s all-time leader is Xiaoping Benguin Deinghao Aland with 538. Pretty good numbers for 206 games. Now for active players we have three that are climbing the ranks hit monsters. First, is Danny Ross @Spartakiller2. Danny is in his 3rd year with the Marauders and is a solid dependable centerman. He is currently in the #3 all-time spot with 456. His hits are down a little but if he stays with Miami next season, I think the top spot is his. Next, is Armas Jortikka @Kavadar. A quiet first gen player who is also in his 3rd season with Miami. A steady hitter that can also score he is in the #4 spot right behind Ross with 443. Finally, in the #9 spot is defenseman Dog Jagr @koty_k. A great guy in locker room and beast of a dman that Prague will eventually love to have on their back end. Played in his second full season he has been a rock on the back end for Miami and has crushed people with 147 hits this season to go with 95 PIMS. He has 382 hits now and at his rate might make a run for the top spot next season. Huge shout out to these three animals!
  11. I got zero too! LOL.
  12. Pretty good question @Gaikoku-hito. I care about the league from an enjoyment standpoint for sure and do care more about whether we win or lose but not nearly as much about points on my player. I do enjoy earning and watching my player improve over time, showing the hard work of earning paying off. I usually don't pay much attention to forum arguments. I read a few of the posts to get the gist and then move on as they usually get off course and turn into an argument. I try to keep all the drama out of my life if I can. So in summary I really just want to watch my fake player win fake championships, crush a few fake players (mostly @ScottyP), snipe the occasional fake goal, and hang with some cool real peeps.
  13. Bazooka Joe it is
  14. Welcome Bazooka !
  15. I was over 600 words ! That's next week's MS just for you!
  16. 52 games into the season and a lot of cool things are happening. The western conference in the NA is stupid close 4 teams vying for the top spot. The EU conference has Moscow which is its dominant self and 3 clubs fighting for second. Anyway, will probably talk about a few random things for this week’s Around the League. North American League Battle: We currently sit with 20 games left in the season and the NA conference is up for grabs. Calgary currently sits at the top with 76 points, Seattle Bears with 73 points, and Chicago and Vancouver with 72. So far, its anyone guess who will win the league and gain those coveted home ice playoff spots. Let’s look at each club: CALGARY: Some off-season additions and some great draft picks have catapulted the Wranglers to an elite team. Their rookie goalie, Spider Panda @Ricer13must get a lot of credit as he has played outstanding. 30 wins 11 losses and 5 shutouts are an amazing feat for a player just stepping into the league. Right now, Calgary leads the NA in goals scored as well and looking at their lineup you can understand why. Thor Reingaard @N0HBDY 33-42-75, Adi Dassler @BOOM, 24-40-74, and Leif Reingaard @Zetterberg 13-57-70 are just a few examples of a pretty formidable offense. 10 wins in last 11 games they are getting hot at the right time and appear to be the team to beat in NA right now. SEATTLE Another hated division rival of my beloved Wolves, Seattle has also become hot of late winning 5 of their last 6. The recent addition of future all-star Ahsoka Tano @Aimee shows @Banackockalways looking to win. Up front they have two 70+ scorers in Jasper Davis @Josh (76) and Eric White Jr @Mysterious_Fish(75) and some rock-solid defense in Lazlo Homes @Gustav , Sunset Moth @McWolf, and Simons Worst Nightmare @zepheter. In net, Giorgiy Constanzov @Mongoose87has been elite with 30 wins, 2.26 GAA and 5 shutouts. Seattle will be a true handful to deal with come playoff time. CHICAGO Sitting on a 3-game losing streak is not where Chicago wants to trend this late in the season but it’s probably a blip on an otherwise outstanding season. Been in first place a good portion of the season they had dipped a bit but probably because the top 4 teams are so evenly matched. Led by Spanish Moon Moth @Renomitsu who’s killing the league with 33goals 53 assists for 86 points. Fellow S91 draftee Josuhua Schwarzer @Velevra has added 75 points and all start d-man, Yaboi Oven @Doomsday is leading the back end with 14 goals 46 assists 60 points and 157 hits. In net, Ryan Artyomov @Enorama has been a brick wall with 31 wins and 5 shutouts as he closes in on 200 wins for the Chicago franchise. VANCOUVER Last and certainly not least is the Vancouver Wolves. As usual, they started the season slow and then picked it up well and have been fighting for that top spot most the season. A formidable albeit inconsistent club they have all the tools to dominate but just need to put it together. Led by Riley Martin @Smarchwho is having a truly deserving breakout season with 33 goals 44 assists for 77 points. S96 trade additions of King Kisslinger @Kisslinger and Erik Thorvaldsson @Tetricide, and Matteo Stefano @mmrs617 have been amazing pickups both on the ice and in the locker room. 5 players over 20 goals, big tough and mean defensive players in Guntis @Girtsand Bollos @Thunder, deadly scorers in Liv Slater @Subject056, Pierre Marc Bouchard @Gaikoku-hito, and even the inconsistent 9 fingered centerman, Logan *when he shows up. Rookie goalie Soju @Frank has been stellar as well with 33 wins, especially when the club doesn’t show up in front of him. 2.55 GAA and 3 shutouts so far as he leads the Wolves into the playoffs. There you have it. The battle for NA supremacy will be decided in the next 20 games. Let the battles begin 677
  17. This week’s Marauder spotlight is none other than starting goalie, Draw Mac @okochastar. A second year Marauder he has cemented himself as one of the best goalies in the league. A rock star teammate and all-around all-star he has gone 24-15-6 this season with a .909 Save % and a 2.18 GAA. Even more impressive his league lead tying 6 shutouts, tied with the likes of Deadpanda @AlexAlex, last year's Benoit Devereaux winner for best VHLM goalie. Mac is spattered all over the leaderboard in GAA, Save %, shots against (2nd), assists (yes, he has 3), and most importantly in wins (24). Mac has kept Miami competitive in a insanely tough Eastern conference and yesterday gave the club two wins, both shutouts. As of late the Marauders have struggled putting up big numbers offensively and the team’s defense and Mac have kept them competitive in all those games. Huge shoutout to Mac and we would love to see you lead us to some playoff Wins!
  18. Miami Marauders Press Conference: Week of November 17, 2024 1. What would be your favorite “pump me up” song to play as the Marauders take the ice? 2. If you could be a professional athlete tomorrow, what sport would it be in? 3. Does your player have any superstitions or pre-game rituals? 4. Our goalie Draw Mac @okochastar had two shutout wins in a row yesterday and 6 shutouts in the season. He is tied for league lead in shutouts. Can you make a case for him to win the Benoit Devereux Trophy? 5. We added veteran forward Marek Nowaczyk @Chillybro to the club via trade yesterday. A former Marauder, He brings some grit and offensive talent to the club and has some VHLE experience to add as well. You think this addition puts us over the top in our tough Eastern Conference? 6. In game 7 of the Founder’s Cup would rather be the player that scored the game winning goal or the player that made the game winning assist?
  19. As I scour the VHL forum for a topic to choose for my Lore theme week TPE I ran across some retired jersey posts and decided I would do a talk about one of my beloved Vancouver Wolves who have had their jersey retired. I don’t think on this topic often but when someone posts a jersey retirement story, I find it cool as it rewards those hard earning players for the effort to keep grinding to make their players better for their teams. So here we go! I want to introduce first a former centerman for Vancouver who played from S71 to S79, mostly for Vancouver but did play one season each for Vancouver’s hated rivals, Calgary and Seattle. Number 13, Andrew Su @Da_Berr was a first gen at that time and was drafted 13th overall by Vancouver in S72 after scoring 51 goals for Ottawa in the VHLM and won a Founder’s Cup that season. His first season in the VHL was not good for any stretch but considering he skipped the E (or it wasn’t around) he was learning the system. Only 9 goals (19 points) that season he must have hit the weights and rink all off-season because in S73 he broke out of his shell netting 34 goals and 77 points. Not bad for a sophomore season. Next season was no less amazing as Su found his stride on the eventual Cup winning Wolves where he netted 44 goals and 56 assists (100 points) to include 7 game winners. As S75 came and despite Su putting up even better numbers the Wolves wouldn’t hoist the Cup again during Su’s tenure. However, even though he never hoisted the Continental cup again he did get his hands on a bit of hardware. Su continued being one of the best in the league stat wise as the next season stats are as followed: S75 43g 62a 106points S76 47g 74a 121points S77 47g 73a 120points During these season Su also was winner of the Mike Szatkowski Trophy (S76), Scotty Campbell Trophy (S76), Brett Slobodzian Trophy (S77), Alexander Beketov Trophy (S77), Scotty Campbell Trophy (S77), and Mike Szatkoski Trophy (S77). Su also is #3 all time in goals for the Vancouver Wolves with 224 and played in less games than the players in the 1 and 2 spot. He is #3 in all time points for Vancouver as well with 543 and again, played over 100 less games then the first two players. Su also sits in the #2 spot all-time in game winning goals at 33. This appears to be the only player this user ever created but a good one he did create. The stats, awards, and play are the reasons that lucky number 13 is hung in the rafters for the team to see and so that the current players can dream to see their numbers up there someday. Congrats to Andrew Su that in 6 seasons with the Wolves you made such an impact that your name and number live on in our great city and league.
  20. This week’s player spotlight for the Miami Marauders is their phenomenal goalie, Draw Mac @okochastar . According to GM @Ricer13, Mac is a player that never takes a night off and gives the team everything he has no matter what. A 34 game winner last season, Mac currently has 17 wins in 33 games, a .901 Save percentage, 2.39 GAA, and 4 shutouts, one shutout behind Deadpanda for the lead. Make no mistake, Mac is one of the best goalies in the league and kept Miami competitive during some early season struggles where they could not seem to score. The Marauders are 3-2 in their last five games but two of those wins have been shutouts. Miami wants to string together some wins as they go into the second half of the season and into the playoffs where the stakes get even bigger. I expect the Marauders will lean heavily on Mac for the rest of the season and I have no doubt that Mac will be there for them.
  21. This week’s player spotlight for the Miami Marauders is none other than Boris Bone-Breaker @RileyLRiley. A recent addition to Miami via trade by GM @Ricer13 he was brought in to bolster the defense and provide a physical presence for the Marauders. And he has done just that. Immediately he gelled with teammates and has been great in the locker room. On the ice he has been better than expected. In 8 games he has already notched his first Marauder goal and a few assists. Physically you can see what he brings to a club. 32 hits in 8 games and 11 blocked shots. GM Ricer was asked about the acquisition, and he said, “BBB plays the game with a big bag of knuckles and makes everyone around him better. He can hit, fight, and is great with his passes out of the defensive zone. We love having him here.” The Miami Marauders are currently riding a 2 game win streak that they are looking to continue to climb the rankings.
  22. I truly don’t feel like writing anything today, but I am going to grind for next week’s TPE as I am traveling a bit. An interesting note is that I am approaching my 3-year mark in VHL. I noticed today that I joined November 22, 2021. Pretty cool and it truly doesn’t feel that long. Since that time, I have made some new friends, have started my second player’s career, and am now entering the waters (slowly) of AGM in the VHLM. Pretty great experience and I hope to be a part of the league for a long time. That being said let’s chat about the what’s going on around the league. Were about 23 games in now and both the EU and NA conferences have a pretty good competitive balance near the top. Moscow is dominating as usual and have only lost one game so far. I am sure they have the first eight first round picks again so I anticipate they will be great next season as well. LOL Anyway, let’s take a look at the scoring leaders thus far: SCORING LEADERS SO FAR Taking a look at the leaderboard in the VHL right now the current points leader is Malmo’s Phillip Rave @tcookie. The 17th overall pick in ethe S91 draft has proven to be a great steal with 318 points in 310 games. This season he has been on fire with 20 goals 21 assist in 22 games. In the #2 spot is the familiar name of Harry Callahan @dstevensonjr. This dude is a first gen Gem that was also drafted 17th overall in S89. A former 50 goal scorer Callahan is killing it again this year with 17g 20a 37 pts in 22 games. Already 4 on the power play and 87 hits he’s trying his best to keep Toronto in the playoff hunt. The #3 spot is our first defenseman in Jacob Stone @scoop. This dude is a beast and I tried to snag him in VHLFL draft but missed out. 35 goals last season with 95 points. This season he has 9 g 27a for 35 points. I would love to see a defenseman win the scoring title someday and maybe it can the wily veteran in Malmo. In the #4 spot is Moscow’s Maverick Goncalves @leandrofg. Another player that’s bitter sweet to me since I again missed being able to draft him for my fantasy league. Last years Rookie of the Year he of off to hot start with 8 goals 28 assist for 36 points. A passing master and surrounded by snipers in Moscow he has taken full advantage and at over an assist per game pace so far. Finally, in the #5 spot we have another Moscow forward (shocker) in Jarmo Ruutu @jRuutu. A big centerman who can hit, has grit, and can bury the puck he has 15 goals 20 assists for 35 points. 42 goals last season I expect probably more this season, especially with the talent he has surrounding him. Rounding out the top 10 we have: #6 Eric White Jr (SEA) #7 Axle Gunner (RIG) #8 Kimi Raikkonen (RIG) #9 Spanish Moon Moth (CHI) #10 Joshua Schwarzer (CHI) 532
