  1. Draft Interview Logan Ninefingers-RW Philadelphia Reapers Reporter: “We are here today with Reapers Right Winger, Logan Ninefingers. Logan the draft is around the corner and your projected to be a high pick. What would it like to be #1 overall in both the VHLE and VHL?” Logan: “I would love it but overall, it’s not that important. I just want to go to a fun team looking to win a Cup. I have been in two straight Founders Cup finals and have lost both. It hurts to be so close and lose. So, if I am picked first or last, I don’t care if I can win a Cup with a fun team.” Reporter: “You start the World Junior Championship here right after the drafts. Is your plan to then head to Europe to ready for whatever VHLE team picks you up?” Logan: “Yeah, I think so. Wherever I go in the draft I just want to get there and get ready for the season. I will do whatever it takes for my teams to be successful.” Reporter: “Any last words you have for any potential teams looking at you in the draft?” Logan: “I am the ultimate teammate that will do whatever it takes for our club to be successful and win. I am not concerned with stats or awards, I am just looking for a fun and active locker room where the end goal is a Cup. I am excited to earn and be a part of a winning tradition. If you pick me, you won’t be disappointed.”
  2. Another week of off-season has passed, and I hope that everyone had a fun holiday season and are gearing up for New Year’s Eve tonight! A few things have happened over the last week, to include some Hall of Fame news, I recruited a new player (will he be like Thunder or more like Rip?), and some random stuff. HALL OF FAME This week, my former player, Brian Payne was honored with acceptance into the coveted VHL Hall of Fame along with legendary scorer, Ronan Lavelle. What a huge honor for me to have my first ever player named. To grind week after week to earn TPE can be daunting sometimes but things like this make it all worth it. I truly enjoy my time here at the VHL and am happy I found this community. There is no way that Payne would ever made it as far as he did without the encouragement and mentoring, I received along the way from teammates and GMs and AGMs, and yes, even from my nemesis and friend Jake Thunder @Thunder. My rivalry with Thunder kept me going and my favorite box score to view was when I played against Davos to see if Thunder and I fought at all so I could talk shit. So, on behalf of Brian Payne a huge thank you to all who make this league possible and to those who helped me along the way with my dumb nooby questions, advice, and good-natured ribbing. NEW RECRUIT I have had some ups and downs when it comes to recruitment. Jake Thunder was my best recruit by far and a legend defenseman who even has a trophy named after him in the VHLE, Rip Wheeler @ScottyP who has been up and down but did just have a decent season in Calgary, and Emoney002 who languished in the VHLM for three seasons before popping smoke, never to be heard from again. Now I know recruitment has been a hot topic lately, but I try to stay in my lane and recruit buddies I think will enjoy this league. I was able to convince my buddy in Florida, a huge hockey fan in a State that has some hockey but not much and is hot enough to melt your face let alone an ice rink. Bleekus has yet to create a player as he is a bit lost in the forum still as many of us remember. But hopefully today we can add another member to the league. So everyone, a huge welcome to @Bleekus. Hopefully he makes us proud. UPCOMING EVENTS The end of the off-season is upon us and there are some exciting things coming up. Tomorrow, training camp begins so some good TPE, VHL awards, and on the 2nd we have the draft and the World Junior Hockey Championship where hopefully my player can win a Gold medal and get drafted to a fun team. I hope for the New Year we all can have a fun VHL experience and I wish everyone a safe and fun Happy New Year!!!
  3. That's awesome !! what graphic app do you use? I am so shitty at them but would like to try again
  4. hopefully we can get on the same team someday!
  5. Great article! @MetalToday was an amazing teammate and a worthy addition to the Hall of Fame.
  6. Review: Great article for one that shows your vast historical knowledge and a very unique subject. I really love articles that cover this lore and history of the league and the greats that played then and now. The history of the league is something that captures my attention and I am sure it does others as well. You clearly did some very niche research showing stats and comparisons to those in the league now. I only got to play one and a half seasons under the old system before the Hybrid change so it's interesting to me to see the comparison in skaters but never thought to look at goalies until now. Only think I would have like would be a picture since I am simple. Thank you!!! 8/10

  8. Great read....Agree with all but Thunder.. He should be kicked out of top 10 and replaced by Payne !!!!! Kidding...I would have Thunder a bit higher simply because he put such great numbers up as a Dman and was equally great at defending as scoring.
  9. Hey Moscow. Crashing your PC 1. The older I get I appreciate gifts like wool socks. So wool socks...or an Xbox series X. 2. Your team has amazing prospects and a winning tradition. 3. Spartan is a legend and always has great players. It would be pretty motivating to know he is in net 4. I like building a player up and watching him become better and better. Payne was my first gen and I enjoyed the process of getting him better each week with a little effort. Hoping NInefingers can do the same or better. 5. The off season---- and lack of fights in games 6. I have zero family nearby and my wife's fam in California so its just my wife and I, five year old daughter, and two giant dogs. Happy Holidays!
  10. The dreaded off-season is upon us but slightly improved due to the holiday season. My family is gearing up for Christmas and my 5-year-old daughter is delighted as we inch closer to the Christmas day (and hopefully some snow). So, in the VHL world there is not a lot going on but I will do my best in this week’s Around the League in 500 words. VHL DRAFT The upcoming VHL draft has a pretty small draft class with just 10 current players over the 200 TPE mark , and another couple players close. There are however some very good draft picks that teams in the VHLE and VHL will benefit from. Right now, pending any trades New York, Warsaw, and Moscow have the top 3 picks so depending on team needs the top five picks or so could be anyone. Let’s take a look: George Richmond: 606 220lbs Center. @badcolethetitan VHLM Stats: 72 games 46g 55a 101pts 129hits Richmond is a hulking centerman that put up some big numbers for Ottawa last season and absolutely killed it in the playoffs scoring 18 points in 10 games. He’s currently number one in TPE earned and has been no further down than second in TPE the whole season. A proven earner and established member who can benefit a team up the middle and play a 200-foot game. A can’t lose pick. Logan Ninefingers: 605 235 Right Wing VHLM Stats: 72 games 64g 88a 152pts + 88 277 hits The Philadelphia Reaper winger came out firing this season offensively notching over two points a game. Him and line mate Caring Bear were an absolute force up front and battled their way to a cup final which the Reapers lost in 5 games. Ninefingers plays a heavy game with 277 hits and does not hurt the club with his defensive play. This high scoring, high earning forward should contribute well to any of the top five teams in the draft should they pick him. Vanellope von Schweetz: 505 150 Defense @Arce VHLM Stats: 72 games 15g 64a 79pts +52 94SB Our first defenseman on the board and currently sitting tied at #3 in TPE. VVS had a dominant season in Houston who probably boasted the best defensive club. VVS seems to have it all. Good defensive play, disciplined, power play quarterback, and some offensive talent. A good defenseman is always in need in the VHL so I expect him to go early. Riley Martin: 602 210 Right wing @Smarch VHLM stats: 72 games 26g 22a 48pts 175 hits 147SB This is an interesting pick as he was drafted at the #3 spot by Halifax in the VHLM draft that didn’t have a very deep bench to assist him. A highly talented winger who also plays a full sheet of ice game and proven earner in TPE as well. He is a great pick who will show amazing numbers and I expect he goes in top 5. Vlad Von Carstein: 608 240 Defense @Dom VHLM stats: 72 games 20g 61a 81pts 154 hits 130SB Another stud defender rounds out the top 5 TPE earners for the upcoming draft. This monster of a dman was the #1 overall pick in the VHLM draft and dominated all season. 81 points and 8 PP goals he was the total package for Ottawa that was easy to see why they picked him first overall. I expect VVC could go easy at #1 in VHL draft as great defenders are always in demand and he’s a guarantee to be solid for years to come. So just to note these are just the top five in TPE earnings and by no way a guess as to which order they will go in the draft. The draft is sometimes a guessing game as to team needs. Some other honorable mention players who could make their way into the top 5 are Adi Dassler @BOOM, Giorgiy Constanzov @Mongoose87, Guntis Gavilrovs @Girts, and of course Wayne Gretzky @MubbleFubbles. I hope everyone has a safe holiday season and I wish y’all the best.
  11. For Logan Ninefingers, the end of Season 91 felt bitter despite having a career season offensively. The Philadelphia Reapers lost to a tough Saskatoon team 4 games to 1, thus ending NInefinger’s VHLM career. What hurts even more is that this is Logan’s second straight Founders Cup final he has lost. In a short season last year his Miami club lost in 7 games and now for a second straight year he failed to bring home the coveted cup. Ninefingers is preparing himself for the VHL and VHLE draft coming up and is excited to see where he ends up. When asked where he thought he’d go in the draft he responded, “I don’t really care what number pick I am. I just want a fun active locker room and to win some games.” Logan plans on spending a year in Europe to try to win a cup in the VHLE.
  12. 100% stud. I'm trying hard to bring him back!
  13. It was a pleasure! Be well, and hope to see you again someday.
  14. Been a fun time playing with both of ya. Let’s win this thing
  15. Gonna double up on @Thunder I’m working hard to bring him back.
