Happy birthday VHL!

Sad to leave Vancouver but excited for a fresh start in NY!

1. I’m hoping to have a decent first year in the E, I’m excited to see how the new system works out. 2. Norseman, I think this one is fairly self explanatory lol. 3. Not a routine more of a superstition, left skate first always. Something that he has done since he was a kid, no real reason behind it. 4. All about that Chicken Alfredo! Good carbs and protein to fuel the body. 5. CCM everything, the fit is perfect. However he still isn’t sponsored by them but it’s just all about the comfort. 6. He’s alright at baseball, not much of a hitter but he can play first base like no other.

1: How do you feel about the team with our recent trades and updated lines? I always enjoy more ice time, so I won’t complain on a personal level. 4: We just named Branden Skuin a Assistant Captain. What do you think of their first few games with the new role? Excited for him to step into the role, good guy from all my interactions with him. 5: Which active Reaper other then yourself has the best name? Love the name of our new assistant captain listed above, Branden Skuin. 6: Which VHL team are you cheering for in the major league? All of them! 7: Do you think the NHL will go to the Olympics? I hope so, but not sold on it at this point. I think it’ll end up with it being a player’s decision. 8: Do you watch any hockey youtubers? If so, who? Yeah a few actually; Pat Shea, Nasher, tougie24, TacTixHD, ManOfTheRitt. 9: Which NHL rookie will be the best from this Rookie class? I hope Newhook has a breakout rookie season.

1: How do you feel the Reapers have been doing recently? Not as well as I’m sure we would’ve hoped, been a bit streaky but still plenty of time to turn things around. 2: Have you been enjoying the league so far? Absolutely. 3: It's still early in the season, but which VHLM team do you think wins the trophy this season? I still have a good feeling it could be us. 4: For the newer players, If you could name the next VHML team, what would you name it and which city would it be from? Gotta be the Kelowna Komets. 5: When you retire your current player, what is going to be the name of your next one? Not sure, haven’t put too much thought into that yet. 7: Vancouver Canucks of the NHL just fired their Head Coach and General Manager, do you agree with their decision? About time in my opinion. 8: What is your favorite Soda? Dr. Pepper 9: Do you like Philly Cheese Steaks? Like? I love them.

Where to start? Size? Yep. Forecheck? Yep. Backcheck? Yep. Big hits? Yep. Ability to contribute as an energy player with the occasional point? Yep. These are all the qualities that you will see when you see Ryan on the ice. While not the fastest or most gifted scorer, he provides a physical presence every minute, every shift, every game. He is out there to provide in a vital role for any team; momentum. While you cannot see it, you can absolutely feel it in the air. Just like his teammates do every time he's in the line up. Keep your eyes peeled for Ryan during this upcoming draft and season.

This season marks the first of many to come for the only freezyeh. Years of youth hockey as a bigger bodied player using his size to all its advantages. From protecting the puck in the offensive zone, to throwing hits left and right as defensemen try and break out the puck. While never the most proficient in scoring he has always managed to make the best of his ice time by providing consistent forechecking, back checking, and well... checking. Be on the look out for his name whenever on the ice against him.
