  1. 1. I just learned the concept of someone's "main", and it made me really curious: what's your main sim league? The VHL is definitely my main league and it always will be. 2. Is your main league the same as your first league? If no, why'd you switch? I have lost count of the sim leagues I've been in. The VHL definitely wasn't my first league. 3. Do you find it easy or hard to keep up with one or more sim leagues in your life? These days it's harder for me to find the time to have multiple leagues but affiliate TPE makes it easier these days. When I was in 4+ at a time, it was 4 sets of everything, every week. There was no affiliation. 4. Someone on the playground tells you they heard Benny Graves got traded. You run back home to check the VHL news and you go to.... a) the forum, b) the discord, c) tune the TV to VSN As an ancient member, I'd probably be checking the forum first to see the actual trade post. 5. Are you here on a mobile, a laptop on the couch, a desktop computer or something else? How do you physically interact with the league? Currently on my phone watching the Big Bash Cricket. Most of the time I'm on my phone, but for point tasks I'm submitting on the laptop. 6. Fill in the blank: I'm really hoping I get a _______ for VHL Christmas! TPE bonus
  2. Yes please. Thank you sir.
  3. Don't fuck with the fish.
  4. Please let me change my name.
  5. Ooooh, Bloodwalker. Sounds like I'll only be reading it during daylight hours or with every light on in the house.
  6. Props to you Fishy. It probably wasn't an easy thing to do, but you won't have any trouble here. I'm sure we'll do our best to use the correct terminology as well.
  7. It was better when I was allowed to post you know whats.
  8. Another nice listen. Thanks for the downloadable option now. I was converting the video into mp3 so you'll save me that step now. Always good to listen to others on their VHL thoughts and what's happening around the league. I admit that I don't check every boxscore, so a show like this helps to keep up with who's hot and who's not. Thanks guys.
  9. Glad to have you back here and killing it.
  10. @der meister Not bad.
  11. Surely I get a bonus for being first. Entered Day 3.
  12. I might just stop earning before hitting the VHL cap and stay in San Diego for an entire career.
  13. Great look at possible early draft order Ledge. I see RED's player being taken before me.
  14. Great way to keep track of what's happening in the VHL, without wading through the box scores. Well done.

  16. That's not very covid-safe.
  17. Consider me entered.
  18. 1. We’re 24 points ahead of Houston, the 9th place and first team out of the playoff hunt as of this writing. With what looks like a smoother ride to make the playoff we can begin to experiment a bit to gear up for a postseason run. What line pairs would you like to see in these last few weeks of the season? Who would you like to play with on a line? I'm happy with how the lines are right now if I'm being honest. I think the chemistry is developing nicely and it's beginning to show in this latter half of the season. As for pairings, as a proud Marlin, I would happily serve alongside anyone in the same uniform. 2. We’ve been struggling against teams higher in the league like Saskatoon, Philadelphia, and of course Mexico City. What do you think the strategy could be to make us more competitive with the top teams in the league? I don't think any major strategy changes are needed. If necessary, some very minor tweaks to PP or something similar, but as mentioned, we are developing nicely. Wholesale changes to chase those teams above us, will probably backfire. 3. Assuming the standings remain relatively the same, how comfortable are you with a first-round matchup with Miami? Bring it on. I hold no fear of the Miami franchise. Maybe I should, but I'm all in on the Marlins. 4. A lot of interesting builds in the VHLM. What do you feel the most underrated stat is in a player’s build and why? There are some interesting builds, but also a ton of the same old ones as well. I've always considered strength as an underrated attribute, especially for forwards. I always included it on my winger builds and it seemed to work out well. 5. Your teammate Kaberle has been on fire with a mountain of content the last few weeks. Do you feel he should dial it back a bit to avoid burning himself out or is the strategy of full investment worth it in the long haul? [@fromtheinside] go ahead and comment on what the idea behind the mass of content is and how you’re managing it. He's been crushing it to be honest, and as long as he has the desire and interest to work at this torrid pace, I say give him free reign. Actually slowing down might even backfire and his TPE production may slip. 6. Who is our lockeroom MVP for the midway point of the regular season? Everyone in the Marlins locker room contributes, but guys like Cowboy and Kaberle are the ones I look forward most to seeing in there. Not saying there aren't others of great value, but as a fellow defenseman, I follow them the most.
  19. People voting for themselves.
  20. This is a great idea and I really hope everyone appreciates it. Gunnar Odinsson San Diego Marlins Render : Henrik Zetterberg Whatever you want to do, article or graphic is completely up to you.
