To Brampton Vladimir Bodnar To Bern S37 Bratislava 3rd Accept. Thanks for the quick negotiations. Needed a goalie and Bern didn't need two. Straight forward.
  5. We don't waste time in Brampton.
  6. Earlier this morning, the Brampton Blades named Azi Ali their captain for the remainder of Season 36. While things haven't been going well for Brampton so far this season, the injection of some new, motivated blood seems to have turned the team towards progress. Azi Ali's debut came in a 10-0 loss to the Royals, a team with a much stronger roster than Brampton. That did not disappoint the waiver claim though, who showed up for his home game debut, scoring two goals and three points in a 5-4 losing effort to the Royals. The performance by Ali gave him the first star of the game, showing that the player had quite the bright future in the VHLM. "Azi Ali has been nothing but extremely positive since I spoke to him. When informed of the bleak performance of Brampton and the odds of winning a championship being slim, he still remained optimistic about coming to play for us. The attitude has been much more positive than expected and it's something that the Brampton locker room is in desperate need of, which is why we came to the decision to give him the captaincy. We expect the remainder of the season will be much better for Brampton than the beginning has been," said Brampton general manager Damon Wolfe. Azi Ali will continue to play the on the top offensive line for Brampton until the S37 VHLM Dispersal Draft.
  7. I don't think that more free TPE is the answer to increasing activity. Re-creates have worked hard for their carryover and I doubt that many new members think of the lead as something that bothers them. If a GM is playing them behind a line of re-creates then it makes sense but other than that I don't see it as an issue. I just don't see the reason the change the Achievement Tracker or to add a training camp.
  8. Pretty sweet work! Fits quite nice. Only thing I can bring up is I'd change the collar colour on the home jerseys. Can't stand that it's all the same colour lol
  9. You'll never be part of the elite Damons.
  10. Unknown goalie for Hall of Fame!
  11. I just want to take the chance to say I'm on the same level as LeBeau.

  13. If you want to decrease the amount of teams in the league you're more than likely going to need to create a new sim revolving around the league as well. I'm in complete support of everything Mike had to say. A minimum/maximum TPE cap would keep everyone competing. That would certainly be better than 3/4 teams all in, 3/4 teams attempting to tank.
  14. 1-7. Get on Brampton's level!
  15. Woo! Way to turn things around guys!
  16. Steven Smyl and the Seattle Bears got off to a rough start, but management turned that around a few days ago, heading into a back-to-back series with Vasteras. Heading into the game, Smyl arguably was one of the weakest goalies in the league. Some fans blame the long off-season for Smyl, who did not get to play in any form of hockey. In the inaugural Super Cup it was well publicized that Smyl deserved to play for the Riot, but in the end rode the pine against opponent Eggly Bagelface for the Riot's 20 games. In Seattle's fourth game of the season, Smyl was looking for some redemption against Bagelface and would get that when he stopped all of the 28 shots that he faced throughout the game, earning the first star and one of the few shutouts seen this season. "After the off-season, I wanted to prove that I was just as good as Bagelface for those who didn't believe that. Thanks to the amazing offense on Seattle, I was able to keep my head cool and focus on making those stops out there. I'm really excited to be part of the Seattle team this season and know that we're looked at as a team that is not much of a threat. I truly believe that we're the underdogs and that we're going surprise quite a few people this season." A few days before pre-season began, Smyl re-signed in Seattle with a three-year extension.
  17. Breakfast Club to stay in Seattle forever!
  18. Yeah, no way would any GM trade future picks for a player they don't get to keep past the season in most cases. I'll claim people, sure. I just didn't want to bring anyone to a team that obviously won't be up to much this season.
