It's great to hear you doing podcasts again. I feel like a lot of your concerns are contradictory or unfounded though. For example, you say that the change could screw over Welfare only people because it takes more TPE to update their Scoring now. But then later you suggest increasing the cap to make up for the fact that updating Scoring is harder. Obviously increasing the cap doesn't help Welfare players. Second, a lot of your concerns is literally that the meta is less accessible, which is the entire point. It's GOOD that it takes more TPE to increase Scoring, i.e. being a meta player. One of the largest concerns with the meta is that you only need a team full of 400-500 TPE players following the same build could be dominant, a la the Wolves. So it makes sense that players that have reached the (MASSIVE AIR QUOTES) "optimal build" are now going to require a big cap hit. Finally, as much as we value all members, including Welfare only players, I don't feel we need to be too sympathetic to Welfare only players for not being as competitive as members who do Point Tasks. What right does a member who earns half as much as others have to be competitive with those members? It's absolutely acceptable to earn what you can at your own rate and pace, but the trade-off is that you're going to be less competitive ultimately.

First of all, it's taken me too long to get to this. Second of all, you dicked the link to Anchor, it's trying to direct us to your dashboard, thus our own dashboards. Third of all, I'm afraid there is something critically wrong with the audio quality, and it is both impossibly quiet and muffled to the point where it is effectively unlistenable. Maybe on full volume with headphones but.... Great work on the 12 TPE either way.

You're my friend. As an old man who regrets his career choice, I will say you should lean into your more creative side if that's what you feel you should be doing! That said, I never enjoyed school or my job after it, but it has allowed me to save money and live comfortably, so it's not as though I live a life full of regret and sadness. But it's harder to ponder career changes at 30 than it would be at 20, so remember that!

Great points as always! I often feel like there are members who are almost completely unaware of the forum, and agree that they might not understand how big of a part of the game it is. You might have said this (I was preoccupied when listening), but I think there should be more notifications on the portal pointing members to the forum. We have players are consistently Welfare + PF every single week, but they have 1-3 posts on the forum. They'll hit milestones like the 100 TPE First Gen Bonus, and I'll send them a DM to let them know, but the message will go unread and they'll continue to be active on the portal every single week. Then you have the members who create a player, and their last login time is almost the exact same as their account creation time. I legitimately don't believe some of these people even realize there is a forum.

I never lied to my parents about my grades, but we did get up to some high school cheating shenanigans. Probably our most daring heist was making sure our classroom windows were unlocked (but appeared locked) the night before one of our exams, breaking in at night, stealing the exam from the classroom, made copies of it, and then breaking back in to replace the exam. It was dumb and unnecessary, but effective!

I wasn't aware of that, but I was actually trying to use AJ as a good example in a very poor analogy. My overall point was that though he lost his job, it was on overall good terms and he would get hired back more easily than someone who floundered out of activity.
