With S86 about to be under way, Jesse Teno is slated to be backup for veteran goalie David Davis. Teno knows that they won’t see too much action during their rookie season in the VHL but they do hope to have a successful year with whatever starts the London United gives them. Jesse was hard at working during the off season both on and off the ice. They had a lot of practice time but also weekends and nights out and about London; a city they had never been to before. Jesse has so far visited London Bridge, Big Ben, and the London Eye. Also ever the Doctor Who fan that they are, Jesse has been waiting for the right time to go to Cardiff and has been thinking about buying tickets to The Doctor Who Experience. They invite any other VHL players, when in town, to go with them.

With Team USA heading to the finals of the WJC, Jesse Teno has, up to this point, started every game and will probably finish off the tournament with a 10-3-1 record including 1 shutout. Teno has earned a 0.935 save percentage and 2.40 goals against average. They also managed to get on the scoreboard with 2 assists as well. It’s looking like Team USA might put Jeremy Swayman ( @Agito) in for the finals and Teno will be rooting on their teammate to take home the gold today. Teno’s performance definitely shows their improvement since their days in Saskatoon as they carry on their winning performances from Cologne. As S86 approaches, Jesse will soon have their first taste of the majors, acting as backup goalie in London for newly acquired David Davis ( @Josh), a well-established veteran of the VHL. Teno said that they look forward to watching Davis play and hopefully will pick up some tips and tricks from him. 155 words for week ending 11/13/2022

1. Hurts but it's way closer than I got in the M so I'm happy about that. 2. The endless 1 goal games lol 3. London! And hopefully a successful VHL career. 4. Training and lots of writing. 5. Anything Broadway. 6. Drivers seat. I don't like not having that control lol. And also control of the music.

It is locker clear out day here in Cologne and Jesse Teno is taking time to say goodbye to their teammates, the staff, coaches, and their home for the last season. “Jesse, how are you feeling moving on to the VHL?” “It’s bittersweet, to be honest. I’ve made some great friends here and I’ve gotten really close with my teammates and coaches. I’m sad to say goodbye but it feels good knowing I’m moving up to the major league.” “Any plans for your last bit of time here in Cologne?” “Yea, I think a couple of the guys and I are going out drinking one last time and I’ll probably just bum around the city and take in the sights one more time. But I’ll definitely be coming back for vacation or to watch some Express games when I’m in the area.” “How does it feel to know that you’ll be facing up against a few old teammates this coming season?” “I’m really excited, to be honest. The guys I played with in Saskatoon and Cologne have come just as far as I have and I’m looking forward to seeing them on the other side of the ice.
