  1. I joined around the same time you did and it's definitely been one heck of a journey. I also have no intentions of letting off the gas pedal. You've been doing amazing work!
  2. Erik Thorvaldsson, or better known as Erik the Red, has been picking up traction in both accumulating points in the Greenland Ice Hockey League and generating local media spotlight. His latest egregious event was putting an opponent against the boards and beating him unconscious after the player had allegedly been chirping at Erik for 2 periods. This cost the player a game ejection, hefty fine from the league, and a 10 game suspension. Erik was not available for an interview regarding this. In the 3 games he has played so far he has put up 5 goals and 10 assists for 15 points and an average ice time of 18 minutes.
  3. Hello everyone! Thank you to everyone who applied (even if it was just a few of you). It was a super hard decision because I feel like I would be super lucky to have any of them as my AGM and it was an all day mental affair with other things going... ANYWAY, without further adieu, the person I've selected as my AGM is Welcome to Miami!

Likewise, Viper. Printing this now to put on the fridge. "Tet's first ever trade as a GM"
  6. Kinnard: "This is where I've wanted to be for a while now. I'm home." Alabama legend Leonard S. Kinnard has been appointed as the new GM of the Miami Marauders. Success in the World Juniors landed him a gig as an AGM for the Calgary Wranglers, and under the tutelage of the GM @Ricer13 he learned the ropes of managing a team both in the locker room and in the office. Kinnard always mentioned his interest in managing a team of his own, especially in the minors where he can help mold young talent to go onto be the next Scotty Campbell. Now, in Miami, he hopes to bring a formidable team to the playoffs every season as well as a Founder's Cup back home.
  7. The Miami Marauders are currently looking for an AGM! All interested persons are implored to apply regardless of seniority. As the newly appointed GM, I'm hoping to follow the footsteps of my former GMs and bring life to the locker room. The following expectations will apply to the position: - Release a press conference every week for players to respond to. - Positively engage with players in the locker room. - Assist players with questions they may have (within your own capacity, of course). - Assist the GM in making lines, draft pick selections, trades, and sending out waiver pitches to free agents. - Excommunicate anyone who messes up the counter.
  8. Smh, now I have to update my GM sig.
  9. All in due time! I'm a patient person, and I honestly was not expecting to be selected for this. Thank you!
  10. Mom, I made it! Thanks everyone.
  11. Thanks papa Lose for this, any future for this season, and previous TPEs you gave me.
  12. Thank you for your service, former E GMs. We don't really know what you've done or what the E is or why it's even here, but you've definitely accomplished something we literally can't put into words. Some might say "in that case, there's not really any shoes to fill here" but like...how can you fill shoes that you can't define the size of or even acknowledge the existence of? To the newly appointed E GMs, good fucking luck. All jokes aside, congrats to the new GMs! And seriously, thank you to Minion, Lemorse, and Leandro for what you've done in the E and keeping interest alive for newcomers like myself.
  13. Applying.

  15. Week ending 4 June, 2023 1. What's up, Wranglers?! This week, the VHL finals come to an end and the off-season starts (hopefully)! I know we didn't make the cut to the finals this time around, but how do you feel about how the rest of the teams did from each sort of final (quarter/semi/cup final)? 2. Speaking of the off-season, the World Cup is back! Who are you rooting for? 3. The Commissioner's Cup was also just announced for its return! Do you think this will help keep the interest of new, prospective members of the community? 4. This season marks the end of an incredible legacy that Oskar Lindbergh has left for the Calgary Wranglers as he has retired, and as a team we helped him get his name etched on the Continental Cup! He was also awarded the Daisuke Kanou Trophy, the playoff MVP! Do you have any kind farewell words to say? 5. How was your weekend? 6. For whatever sports team you're watching and supporting on game day, do you wear any of their apparel? Whether it be a jersey, hat, or socks...
