This graphic is very well done! I like the overall contrast of it. As you said, you had some trouble color matching. With the logo mimicking a metallic gold, it would be quite difficult to achieve that in 2D but you still shaded it really well! I like the text fill being a jersey closeup and the FG elements are also pretty nice. They are leaning to the green side and as a personal preference I would hue shift those closer to the gold of the logo but as they are, they do add variety in the color palette. 9/10 I like your stuff!

Leonard had a busy off-season playing in the Junior Showcase Tournament with the Royals. He came to us with a desire to have a more "regal", stick to play with in the tournament to honor his new team, we delivered. A few gold bands wrap the stick to break up the pattern and help showcase the added details. The JST logo was added for obvious reasons along with the Royals logo and as always, Leonard's signature. We love working with Leonard and after an exciting draft where Leonard went to the San Diego Marlins, Geneva Rush and London United, we know this partnership will grow stronger and Leonard will never run short of ideas that we can help bring to life! I actually used 3D software for this. I modeled and rigged my players body and equipment in Maya in 3D and then created his head using metahuman. I pose him using the rig I created and then I imported all of it into the Unreal Engine where I then lit and rendered it out. Converted the render into a gif in premiere pro. I created the textures for Leonard's jersey using photoshop. The "ribbon" transition is actually just rectangular geometry that I scaled out in one axis. It was a lot of work to model three logos rather than the one that I usually do but I can now use those models for future graphics! Thanks for checking it out!

Had a busy week but I managed to get out a little graphic to show where and by who Leonard Triller was drafted! The drafts were a lot of fun and I enjoyed chatting with all the GMs that reached out. I really like this player card! The attention to detail on the back of the card is awesome and matches perfectly with the old school paper color. The front of the card is bright and vibrant with the Nighthawks colors. The color change on the jersey is well done but could use a bit more color from the Nighthawks logo to mix it up a bit. My only other critique is that the front of the card does not match up with the old school look of the back of the card because the colors are so bright. I think maybe a bit of desaturation on the front might help the match. 8/10, I like the amount of work that went into this! I may have to make a player card as well!

I like the effort put in on this one! Picking a render that has only a partial chest logo visible is a lot more difficult to work with but you managed! I like the detail added of the logo on the pants as well. The cutout is clean and the smoke element is a nice touch. I think the team color bands on the sides could be reworked. They make it look like the ribbon on a medal being in that V shape but that is just me! 8/10! I like your stuff lol it always catches my eye for review.

1. I am very excited for the upcoming season! I think we have a strong team and should have a dominant run. 2. After every pick the Marlins made, I kept expecting to get snagged by another team, but when Leonard finally went, I couldn't believe I landed on this stacked squad. 3. I plan on getting the home jersey for the Marlins created as well as the logo modelled so that I can start posing my character and creating some sweet graphics! 4. So far the VHL has been fun! I enjoy getting to know the teams and members. It took awhile to make my presence known but I think the draft shed some light on what I bring to the table. 5. I would probably go with Mark Stone. Solid 2-way forward. I want my player to be able to shut down the opposition as much as he puts the puck on his teammates sticks. 6. Pepperoni. I am a simple man.

GETTING UP EARLY Name: Leonard Triller Position: RW Height: 6’3" Weight: 210 lbs Place of Birth: North Battleford, Saskatchewan Preferred Number: 14 Leonard Triller grew up in a small town in Saskatchewan about 30 mins from the Alberta border. Winters were long and not particularly kind. His Dad taught him to skate from a young age using a time-tested technique, the chair. The closest rink was 40 mins away but his Dad built him one in the backyard, not to practice, but to simply have fun. His parents always let him drive his own passion. "It's easy to get up to do something fun", was his parents' motto. Before the school bus came, Leonard was out under the floodlights skating as the sun came up and then was out skating on the frozen Saskatchewan River after school was out. For most of Leonard's minor league play, he played above his age group. They moved him up early and while the other kids were bigger, he was faster and had a keen hockey sense. A natural goal scorer who could avoid the bigger bodies. Then came the growth spurt. Seemingly over a summer Leonard shot up and quickly became the player he had always played against. This caused an extreme change in his game. He had lost some speed and coaches started to utilize his size on defense to punish the opposition. Leonard wanted to get back to a forward position so the next summer he signed up for a power skating camp and a figure skating camp. Up at 5 am, Leonard's Mom and Dad were happy to drive to camp as they noticed the change in their son's hockey goals. Power skating taught him how to use his larger frame to get up to speed quickly and though unconventional, figure skating taught him to be light on his feet and to utilize his edges. Not a fan of the costumes, but a huge fan of how he felt on the ice. This showed as Leonard made the cut as a forward on his first AAA tryout. His 2-way play from his time on defense gave him more utility than before and his new size allowed him to dig pucks on the cycle and put them out in front of the net for his teammates. Assists became second nature and his power created issues for opposing teams. After a couple years of AAA play, Leonard decided it was time to up his competition. With the VHL in sight, he put his name on waivers in the VHLM and received some offers, one being from the Saskatoon Wild, where he currently lived. A good way to start, playing at home. (451 Words)

Off-Season Stuff JST Royals WJC Team Europe

Recently I was approached by @qripll,who was picked as the GM of Team Europe for the WJC, to help him with a jersey reveal! I managed to find some time to put something out that I am quite happy with! I decided to snazz up the flag and go a bit collegiate for the team logo. I added the silhouette of the European continent on one shoulder and made a quick WJC badge to sit opposite of the captain's "C". I also created a new player model for this as I just didn't want to have my players model where it wouldn't make sense! Maybe Leonard gets on Team Canada next season! Hope everyone enjoys!

Very nice! I almost regret joining during last season just to be able to try this now! Hopefully graphics can be added to the team pitch! I made some cool stuff for the Wild last season!

Very cool! I have heard of it! I have access to photoshop but it is nice to see what programs everyone else is using here.

1. Spending time with family! We will be unable to be with everyone this Christmas but it is mainly due to not traveling because our little girl was born a week ago! Will be her first Christmas and I am very excited! 2. I was! He didn't have a full season but almost ended with a point per game and he showed that what I thought was building is exactly what I built! Excited for the next season and the draft. 3. I just hope the 2-way player I am developing continues to improve and play the way I am designing him to play! Hit hard, shut down opposing offense and make some pretty passing plays! Time for the questions! 1. Where did you come up with the name for your player? 2. Are you more of a roleplaying user in the VHL or not? 3. Are you here to create players that break records or are you here to just simply see how your players career plays out regardless of their stats?
