Review: Hey buddy i really like what you did with this graphic! I think the amount of detail in the graphic is fantastic such as the repeating forward down the left side as i feel it brings more to the graphic than people will realize! I really like when people add the stats to their graphic as i personally feel it makes the graphic feel like I'm looking at a highlighted player on TV. The glitch effect on the font looks amazing in the graphic! The only thing the trips me out is the hill of ice you have as for me personally i would have liked it to be level like ice but i could be wrong or be a personal preference! Overall keep up the great work!

Review: An amazing graphic as always! This is a clean as it gets! I love how you made the graphic look super simple while also showing you skills on the computer taking simple and making it looks fantastic! I like your choice of font as the outline see through letters give the graphic a clean look. I love how you faded in the VHL logo in the back but for my personal preference i would have rather seen a Titans logo as i feel it would complete the graphic! Overall keep up the great work i cant wait to see what you come out with next!

We are live in down town Toronto here at VHLCBC head courters I'm you host Joe Joey and we are join by a very special guest! Most viewers will know him even though last season was his first season VHL and For your home town Toronto Legion Up and coming future all star Diego Machado! Welcome to the show Diego! (Diego) "Glad to be here cant wait to get started!" I Agree Diego lets get started with all questions i know the fans are waiting to hear! " I agree!" 

I want to start off by saying congratulations on the champion ship with your team last season! How did it feel to win the Continental cup in your rookie year? "Thanks Joe, the feeling of winning most championships feel the same but there is always something special about winning the cup in the big leagues! Winning it as a rookie wouldn't have been possible if the managers in Toronto didn't give me the chance they did playing me up in a big role on the second line and them trusting me to play big minutes in the playoffs made winning as a rookie more special for me as the management trusted me to help bring the championship to Toronto!"
I can imagine there is almost no better feeling in the world then being crowned champions!

Toronto Had some impressive Rookies last season in Callahan and Fitzroy did that make it easier to join the big league team a little bit easier? "Absolutely it did! having having more rookies around in the beginning of the season 100% helped with the fear of joining the big leagues as the new kid on the block. Having other people going through the same experiences that I was made everything a whole lot easier! A bonus is that the three of us became really close throughout the season even though we weren't always on the ice together at the same time!"  
I see making friends always seems easier when you all are going through the same things. 

You Had a little bit of controversy this season that ended up getting you suspended for a week this season. Can you tell us what went through you mind during that period? "Yeah was not the most proud moment of my young career but people make mistakes mine unfortunately hurt myself and the team but i learned from it and will make sure i don't make the same mistakes in the future."
I completely agree with you Diego its how you handle when you make the mistake that shows you the type of person you are.

What was your most memorable moment this season other than the championship of course? "For me it has to be scoring my first goal! It was a amazing experience, it was in my first game i got an amazing pass and it made getting my first goal all the better. But the thing i will always remember the most is that my family was in the building to see it so it made for a special moment for my family as well not just for myself!"
Those moments are always best spent with your friends and family!

Review: Hey there i really like what you did with this graphic! This is a very simple well done graphic that has a style that I personally have not seen all to often with stat total from the last season. I think the way you designed it gives me like the back of a hockey card vibe and i really think it is a very cool idea for a graphic! Personally I think the stats could have been done in white to give it a little bit more highlighting but it's probably a personal preference of mine. Overall very nice work!

Review: Hey buddy this is an awesome looking graphic! I really love the way this came out! I think the way you used his players image in 3 different ways really gives this graphic a dynamic that some graphics don't have a I personally enjoy it. I think the sparks or the almost camp fire crackle effect you used really blends the team name and the player together very well even though its a small detail i personally think it takes the graphic to a whole new level. Keep up the good work buddy!

Diego Machado finally got his day with the Continental cup this past Friday and he decided he wanted to share with the Legion fans on how he decided to spend his day with the cup so many players and fan want to win. So Diego started his day as he starts every day with a short run in the park in his home town of Winnipeg Manitoba with his dog Price. After he is done that he takes a shower and starts to make some breakfast, you might ask yourself what will he be having for breakfast today and for most sports fans would know and do the same thing if they had the day with the cup and that would be eating a massive amount of cereal out of it. Of course he let price try a little at the end as well as he assumes most people would then of course he cleaned it as most people would not want to touch a dirty cup.

He then set out to his local arena when he was a kid to do a meet and greet with his fans in his home town and of course give some fans a chance to hold the illustrious Continental cup. But before this all took place Diego decided he wanted to take a trip down memory lane and take a look at teams he played for in the past, such as the Winnipeg Monarchs (the team he played for when he got drafted to the VHLM Saskatoon Wild). He remembered many fond moments from his childhood like when he scored the game winning goal to send his team to the national championship in a thrilling last minute goal in overtime against the Monarchs rivals the Winnipeg Thrashers. After is short but very meaningful journey down memory lane it was time to start the meet and greet with everyone.

After several hours and a few hundred visitors Diego then went back to his families house where they hosted a family barbeque for his family and his closest friends where they had some drinks good food and of course they had to recreate the Phil the thrill hot dogs in the cup photo as it was a photo he has wanted to do himself since he saw it on Instagram many years prior. Last but not least the thing that every player will do when they have a day with the cup is when they go to bed it never leaves his side. Although this wasn't the most eventful day that a person could have Diego made sure that he could bring the joy of the cup to others so they can enjoy it just as much as he did.

In the post season Diego Had 11 points in 15 games helping the Toronto Legion win the Continental cup for the first time in over 20 seasons and he hopes to improve on his rookie success and bring home another championship for the Legion this season!

Review: Hope you are having a great holidays! This graphic is really awesome! i always loved the color scheme of the Davos jerseys and the way you used those colors in this graphic is a work of art. I really like how you used the team logo as the base for this players graphic really takes this graphic to the next level. I think the background choice of the purple swoosh really brings the whole graphic together! One thing that really grabs my eye is the bottom players right had being on the line of the logo just trips me out as it almost looks like that is his hockey stick haha. Hope the rest of your holidays are awesome!

Review: Long time no see hope you are having an amazing holidays! Well where do i start on this graphic other than this looks fantastic! I really love the idea of a season themed graphic and you pulled this one off perfectly. When looking at the graphic it makes me feel like a kid again going to the out door rinks on Christmas and just playing some hockey! I like how you used 2 of the teams in the VHL that have the main Christmas colors in them, as simple as it is it makes it look very clean but we both know the legion deserve to be one of the teams  Have a great rest of your holidays!

great series/ season!

Diego Machado has not had the best of holidays as recently his dog Nova passed away fighting a rare form of cancer. Early last year, around March 14, 2022, Diego's dog Nova got the bad news that she had a rare cancer that started in the urinary tract and unfortunately spread to the point where she passed away on December 8, 2023. This came as a shock to the fans, as Diego's dog was a fan favorite on social media, being shown running on the ice of the team practice facility with Diego and being seen at many team/fan integration spots where many fans were seen taking pictures with his dog, and fans are deeply saddened to find out about her passing. This has been a sad time for the player, leading him to be distant from the media in the league and just focus on time with his family while also working on his fundamentals to help improve his on-ice performance while also keeping his mind busy. While he put in the extra work, fans have noticed the player having more During this time, the VHL playoffs started, allowing Diego to keep his mind focused on his goal of winning the Continental Cup with his Toronto Legion. (Toronto's first since S65)
While he has the normal drive to win, as most players would, this season feels a bit more personal for Diego, as he wants to win one last thing for his lost companion. In a small but heartwarming gesture, Diego decided to have his dog's name stitched into his left glove for the whole VHL playoffs to give him a little extra push for the playoffs. While this has been a good season for the rookie forward for the Legion, putting up 18 goals and 32 assists for 50 points in 72 games, he has never made the playoffs with any team in his career. This season adds more fuel to his fire to win. Now that the playoffs are in full effect, Diego has shown the fans what they have been missing, with him never getting the chance to show his talent at a time when it really matters. In this season's playoffs, Diego has 2 goals and 9 assists, giving him 11 points in 14 games and helping the Toronto Legion reach this season's VHL Cup finals. Although he is still just a rookie in the top level of the VHL, this almost feels like a turning point in his career, as with the help of his management and his supporting cast of really welcoming teammates, he is finally getting the extra push to make it into the real hockey season. It remains to be seen if Diego will be able to finally add some hardware to his four-season-long career, but what we do know is that he is putting everything he has into this playoff run and hopes to bring the continental cup back to Toronto after a long absence from this amazing city and to honor his lost companion.

Review: Hello my fellow rookie! This graphic looks sick! I really like what you did here, the first thing that caught my eye was the paint brush lines effect that you used as when i first saw i was not a fan but now the more i look at it i really think it really works! A very small detail that i really like is how you edited the logo on to the jersey as it looks very well done and if you didn't know who the player was you would think the jersey is legit as they come! Overall really nice work!
