Yep. Bringing on Goody, plus Anderson is actually a really good piece as well. I don't expect my 2nd to be very early at all. The 1st is the big piece and I wanted to get something in addition to Goody, happy with this deal

Yeah, you were right, you did complain about me being on there. I'm not inactive, as you know. Just have to match up those players - members, but it's understandable because until recently I've been Brookside.
-
Then the curse you have is not the curse I have, but a worse one. My curse is exactly one cup with each player. 0 is just as off limits as 2 or more.
-
Also, I'd like to add this is not a knock on Chris, Chris is great, one of the guys I get along with the most on here just his player was worse than mine this season
-
Have you had any players with 0?

Armistice, Rome, and Entertainment are better, but of their two big ones, I definitely prefer Lisztomania over 1901. The fact that I can just rattle off five of their songs like that though, that should give you a pretty good idea as to where I stand on the band as a whole!

Yep, riding the Hurley train on this one (along with Phil and Boychuk)

The people who like players with better stats. .930 save % over .920 (and save % is the most team-independent goalie stat, although no stat is perfect) Better wins, better GP, more shots faced, same shutouts. The only stat Wahl has over me is GAA.

On second thought: If it means more to these other guys, go ahead and keep me out
-
I hate to be this guy, but you took off one of the most active players (me, Kerkko Hyvarinen) to add people.

See, told you I was the only one with this particular curse

All the armies team up to beat the white walkers Then they resume fighting each other, and everyone kills everyone else Bran, the last remaining person in Westeros and mostly dead, finds his way across the sea and is given the mercy of the Many-Faced God by Jaqen, who pulls his face off and is Arya, who pulls her face off and is Benjen Stark. Newly revealed Benjen Stark comes back for the last episode of the last season only to fall off the top of the Titan of Braavos. Tyrion and Varys rule over a world whose sole remaining inhabitants are Tyrion and Varys.

You've had exactly one cup with every player you've had?

VHLSC: S44 Rankings #7 - Twitter Reactions
diamond_ace replied to Kendrick's topic in VHCS Draft Rankings
I don't really care about the rankings, I care about the remarks that go along with the rankings. You can't say I've disappeared when I clearly haven't. -
Renowned VHL member diamond_ace has become synonymous with the Calgary Wranglers organization throughout his time as a member in the league. His first player, Lars Intranquilo, was drafted to the Wranglers in S20 at 4th overall. This was an incredible steal in theory, as Cam Merrill was drafted 3rd to the Seattle Bears and promptly stopped doing anything. Even before the draft, Intranquilo was gaining on Merrill and was clearly the better pick, but Seattle management needed Merrill's position more than Intranquilo's. However, it was only a steal in theory and not in practice, because Intranquilo played like a 500 TPE player despite 956 TPE. His second player, Clark Marcellin, never left the team, not even as a rental. He went down with the ship, and that ship crashed right into the pier. Marcellin was a far better player than Intranquilo but he still kind of wasn't that great, plus he got Higginsed out of a few awards (damn you David Smalling) including one year where he rightfully deserved to win the Boulet. Regardless, once Marcellin switched over to defense (again, anything for the Glorious Franchise of Wranglers) he started to have success, too little too late. 922 TPE kept him up near the top, though. Martin Brookside came along next. Until his final two seasons with Cologne, he too was a Calgary lifer. In fact, he'd have stayed with Calgary if it had been best for the team, but it was not, and so he went to Cologne and won a cup (possibly two). Brookside is currently lame ducking it with Cologne and has 908 TPE to try to poach another cup for the Trains. The point is, anyway, as much as I'm enjoying Cologne... I'm coming home. Kerkko Hyvarinen is the second best player in the draft, a good margin behind Edwin Reencarnacion yet above upcoming future stars like Simon Valmount and Le'Sean Coutzen. The draft lottery just occurred, giving Calgary the second pick in the draft. It all seems like a perfect coincidence intended to send me back to the one place that's become synonymous with me as a member. (Btw: If New York decides to take me at 1, I'm obviously very pleased with that turn of events as well, it just doesn't have enough of a story to make a 590)
