You couldn't find a better Game 7 if you wrote a script for Disney. Somehow, someway, the Titans and Predators found a way to top even a movie script, as Game 7 of the European Conference Final was one for the ages.

Before the puck dropped, the 15,000+ at Volkswagen Arena in Warsaw were already raring to go, and they would have a reason to celebrate early with Chris Reynolds burying 2 in a span of 4 seconds just 5 minutes into the Game to put Warsaw up 2-0 early. Helsinki looked sluggish and it easily could've been 4-0 or even 5-0 in the first period alone, but Zamboni Driver kept Helsinki in it to hold Warsaw to 2-0 after one. The second period started off as more of the same, as in the first half of the second period, Warsaw outshot Helsinki 18-1. Dakota Lamb would make them pay with one of those shots to give Warsaw a 3-0 lead. Helsinki came out after that goal was a lot less panic in their game and more calmness. It would pay off as just 3 minutes later, a beautiful between the legs pass from Patrik Laine would find its way to Valtteri Vaakanainen and Helsinki would get on the board. Helsinki would keep on pushing and only 3 more minutes later, Venus Thightrap would pull Helsinki to within one. Helsinki has plenty of golden opportunities to tie it, but Krishna stood strong the rest of the second period. We would head into the third with Warsaw ahead 3-2. Victor Grachev took a penalty at the end of the second period, and Emi Rune just 21 seconds into the third period would tie it at 3. The period was dominated by the Titans, as they outshot the Predators 18-8. On a power play with 2 minutes to go, Helsinki made an extremely risky play, choosing to pull goaltender Zamboni Driver to give themselves a 6 on 4 power play. The Titans had chance after chance on that power play, including a shot from Patrik Laine that went off both posts and the crossbar. Krishna and the Predators would hold strong, and we would need extra time. Warsaw came out flying in the overtime, but would take a penalty just 1:14 into the extra frame. Helsinki would put the nail in the coffin, as a shot from Vikingstad that dropped in the crease was put home by trade deadline acquisition James Rose, and he sends Helsinki to the Continental Cup Final against the Seattle Bears.
